This new HALAL restaurant is a must-try. We have been waiting some time for them to open and they didn't disappoint. We tried a variety of foods including lentil soup, chicken shawarma, fahsah, and the half chicken mandi, as well as the cola and adeni tea. The lentil soup and fahsah were the fan favorites among the family. The shredded lamb in the fahsah was very tender and had a great flavor. The chicken shawarma did not stand out as much as we had hoped, but still had good taste to it. It would be the perfect quick bite to take back to the office. The adeni tea offered us a fragrant, spiced finish to the meal. The staff are all very friendly and keep the restaurant nice and clean. The variety of seating styles makes the experience unique. We are looking forward to our next visit. Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5

My first time trying Yemeni food and I wasn't disappointed! The portions were very generous and the chicken was fall off the bone tender! The spices and flavors were aromatic and subtle yet balanced. The meal felt healthy and wholesome. The sauces were great! One was very spicy (which I loved). Will definitely be coming back for more! Takeout service was great too!

A revelation. I've never had Yemeni food until last Saturday. I was looking at a Lincoln at Pugmire Lincoln and worked up a mighty hunger. Diyar Al Yemen was right next door and it smelled good! So I went in. The service was so friendly and fast. She quickly took our order and let us know there was free soup available (first come, first served). We ordered the Mushakal and the Chicken Kabsa, The Mushakal stew was delicious! It was so flavorful and chocked full of veggies (potatoes, carrots, okra, etc.). The Chicken Kabsa was a deliciously flavorful rice dish that paired great with the stew and made for great take-home leftovers.

Friendly service and reasonable prices, but no where near actual Yemeni food. We ordered the chicken Mandi and lamb haneth. Both came with mandi rice, and that's usually the highlight of most yemeni dishes as it is usually cooked under the meat and absorbs all the dripping oil and fire smell in it, but in this case it was just stale basmati rice cooked in a pot. The chicken was also dry. On the positive side, The lamb was falling off the bone and really good, the sauces were both good, and I appreciate the free soups and tea! Try it out, maybe it was an odd day with the rice, but the lamb is definitely worth it.

We tried this place for the second time! Great authentic Yemeni food! We tried the chicken mendi and lamb galabah. Portions are large. Very filling. Family friendly atmosphere. It isn't loud. Service is good. We will definitely return.

Figured we'd give Yemeni food a try - would it be middle eastern, North African or "Mediterranean" as it says on the signage? Turns out it doesn't matter because the food was SO good. We started off with the surprisingly free and yummy and warming lentil soup, thin in texture but rich in flavor and the equally good (and free!) lamb consume with bits of onion and red pepper. Oh did I mention the delicious (and free!) tea redolent of Turkish tea but honestly better with deep flavors of cardamom, cinnamon, clove and ginger. The friendly Moroccan woman running the place all by herself helped us through the vast menu, but we settled on Fahsah, meltingly slow cooked shredded lamb that comes bubbling in a clay pot, accompanied by warm homemade Yemeni flat bread. Think Mexican lamb Birria on steroids. If you love lamb like me, you'll love this dish but it's not for the faint of heart. The grated tomato pulp with garlic and salt cut through the spiciness of the dish. We also ordered the chicken shawarma, which was just okay - would have preferred dark meat as the white meat was slightly overcooked and on the dry side - and it needed to have a white sauce inside to help. We saw many other dishes we'd like to try and will be back for sure! Give this place a try - the adventurous eater will not be disappointed! The desserts looked incredible and the breakfast menu is tempting as well! The ambience is typical strip mall but they do have traditional floor seating and interesting scenic photographs of Yemen on the walls.

The service and the food were amazing. I dropped a star because I'm used to my chicken shawarma having pickles in them. The description said pickles would be in it but mine did not have pickles. There were cucumbers, but I was hoping for a dill pickle flavor. Pro tip: mix the garlic sauce with the verde hot sauce to dip the falafel and the red sauce over the chicken.

The food is amazing. So flavorful and authentic. I truly enjoy it. The customer service is also wonderful! I love the ambiance because they have these little booths you can sit in on the floor and it actually gives you a little privacy! It's just a great spot!

I have enjoyed going there ever since this place opened. The manner the waitress addressed me today will be my last visit.

I had never had Yemeni food, but I can't wait to have it again! I ordered the Fahsah and bread with a mango smoothie, and the food came out in a stone bowl bubbling hot. It had such a rich mixture of spices and flavors, and boy do I love it dip bread into hot stews. The service was attentive and really liked the look and feel of the place with its more authentic floor seated areas. Will absolutely be back!

Lamb Haneeth. Dinner for 2 included this and chicken. They were out of chicken, did not substitute and charged full price.

This restaurant is newly opened. We came on a Saturday and waited to be seated. Initially we were excited - the aromas were enticing and the restaurant seemed full. We were seated in the traditional seating where the floor was not clean. Ultimately we were moved to a wobbly table. We had to find someone to take our order. The dinner for 2 includes soup (which was out), chicken (which was out and supposed to be substituted for lamb in a bowl that did not come) and a veggie side dish. Flavors were great on the Saltah. We asked for bread twice and it did not come. We also had to get up find someone to get plates and cutlery. The Lamb rice dish is their signature dish but the rice was NOT COOKED all the way through. It was al dente which is not how rice is eaten. There were absolutely no explanations or apologies for the poor service, and certainly no discounts to make up for the missing food. This place has a ways to go before it should be open for dining.

We were a group of 5 and that was pushing it so I'd definitely say no more than 5-6 people. We sat outside and the weather was beautiful. Just a heads up--this restaurant seems to be dog friendly. As a dog owner myself that is something I'd like to know but I understand the hesitation when you're sitting and eating next to a dog. However, doesn't take away from the cleanliness or the service of the restaurant. We ordered the Mezze trio as an appetizer. Everyone loved the hummus however my favorite was the red beet root. I also loved that they can refill the pita bread which went by quickly. Most of the table ordered the lamb skewers which I thought was a good. I'd give it an 8/10. I thought the flavors paired nicely and it was a different taste than the skewers I've ordered before. My brother ordered the salmon and he really enjoyed that. The service was nice however it did take at least 45 minutes for us to get our food which was a bummer. Definitely could see this being a nice, chill lunch or dinner spot.

Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and wrapped in warm, fresh tortillas. No dryness, no shortcuts, just clean flavor that lets the grill speak for itself. You can tell the chicken wasn't rushed or drowned in sauce to hide mistakes. Now let's talk about the Adana mix grill. This is the kind of plate that makes the table go silent for a minute. Everything was cooked with intention. Smoky, tender, well-spiced meats that tasted like they came straight off an open flame, not a reheated pan. Portions were generous without being sloppy, and every bite held its own. The service was warm, attentive, and unpretentious. Staff actually checked in without hovering, knew the menu, and made solid recommendations. That alone puts Adana ahead of a lot of places. The ambiance ties it all together. Cozy but upscale, relaxed without feeling casual. Great lighting, clean space, and a vibe that works whether you're on a date, with family, or just treating yourself to a good meal. Adana isn't trying to be trendy. It's just focused on doing good food, good service, and good atmosphere consistently. And honestly, that's rare these days. Definitely a repeat visit.
