Super cheap good Chinese take out. Owners are nice. Just make sure you ask for more sauces. They only give 2 of each.

If you're looking for a solid takeout spot this is it. It says New York style and it definitely is. I'm from NY and I know how other state's Chinese food can be trash. This one is legit. To be fair all I've ever ordered is the Chicken and broccoli, but each time it's hot fresh and the gala or is consistent. I normally order 10-15 mins ahead and it's ready when I get there. Check 'em out

I love their honey wings !!!!! Omfg . It's fried chicken lol with honey drizzled on it. LORD it is amazing. I love their lemonade as well. The eggrolls from here is TRASH and I haven't ate anything else from here. PLZ try their honey wings.

Shrimp fried rice (extra onion) with fried wings (crispy)

This is definitely a hidden treasure. I have past this area many times and never noticed a Chinese restaurant. I stopped in to get what I would normally get from a Chinese restaurant wings fried hard shrimp fried rice with extra onions. I also noticed some premade drinks in the cooler, I asked one of the patrons was the lemonade good, he replied yes so I got one. I was not disappointed at all. I can honestly say this is the BEST Chinese that I've had in this area ever! I will definitely be visiting again.

I came here after visiting the botanical garden, and I was HUNGRY…read more I ordered Grandma's Noodles ($9), the scallion bubble pancake ($5), cumin lamb ($12), and dry fried eggplant ($11). Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

On the wall by the main entrance they have several photos of many famous people who have eaten there previously. I met up with a friend of mine there for a good chat and chew. Parking: For anyone coming here for any occasion make sure you validate your parking with the restaurant. The ONLY parking lot they validate is the one right beside the restaurant! Drinks: I got the strawberry lemon drop drink. It was good and did come with the vodka flavor with natural strawberry syrup. It was good. The vegetable dumpling was good! On to the main entree was the House Lo Mein. It was just average and not the greatest I've tried. It took a minute before our server came back. To me it needed more flavor, seasoning and it didn't have any spice what's so ever! I wouldn't get it again. The thing I found annoying/unprofessional was the staff taking forever to give me and my friend out checks. We came into the establishment an hour before they closed. At that time a lot of people were still in the place. However, by the time we received our checks we were the last people in their establishment. The other individuals were the workers cleaning up. We tried to get a server to come to our table sooner but wasn't successful. This is my sole opinion but I wasn't over impressed over food.

Yes, the juices might wind-up on your face cuz you going down-down on it good like that, but who doesn't bask in wet, juicy glory like that, just wipe the collateral-damage off. Jjambong had the haemul (seafood) overflowing like the organ between my loins, but damn - what a bounty of seafood. Squid was also sitting up top like the jjambong bowls back in Korea. Broth was good, noodles were green - brb, throwing my glasses at the wall out of pure joy and disbelief at how damn good it was. Tangsuyuk? oh my word - just the right amount of crisp. Not so damn deep-fried like other places to the point of when you put it in your mouth, it scratches the skin off the roof of your mouth and cheek-walls like a blue-dolphin does (iiykyk). The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!
