    C23 spicy shrimp combo

So I walk in to Panda Wok today (sure the pandemic has been affecting restaurants.....) with seats on the tables. Welcome I order the C23 combo - extra spicy. I made sure to reiterate the term extra spicy as I had asked, "Is the shrimp fried or sauteed?" Of course, it's now made "steamed" at this particular Panda Wok. I ask for noodles, 4 crab rangoons, and a can of Coke. The bill totals $18.57 and (seeing as how I have been in the HOSPITALITY industry for, um, 25 years now, leave a $6.43 tip - $25. I was excited, especially considering the box probably weighed 2.5 LBS. Upon receiving meal about 10 minutes later (5 minutes before promised) I asked the woman, "Is it extra spicy?" considering there was another guest who ordered practically the same combo right behind me. She answered affirmatively without hesitation. I sat on the bench in the lot, opened the box, and dug in. It was not at all spicy, drenched in some type of bland sauce, had too many onions, huge-size sliced both green & sweet peppers (I hate the taste of sweet peppers), and only 6 shrimp. Okay Panda Wok in East Point! I walked back in and gave them a chance to gain .repeat business of mine, not to mention the guests who witnessed the following lack of accountability, poor recovery skills, unknowledgeable customer service, and faking as if what I was saying very concisely was gibberish. No such chance - they "...only have red pepper seeds..." but she made sure to step close to the, um, not spicy hot sauce packets so I could tailor my own $11.50 C23. Hm. I didn't even care for the noodles.

Should be half of a $ because it is chingchongCHEAP!! U COULD FEED A WHOLE BARN of kids , like 5 dollar for a heap of fried goodness . I ordered the orange chicken because obviously im white and that's what we do at Chinese food places. Overall unexciting flavor but hits the blood sugar right were u need to. Located in walMart parking lot with Authentic Chinese ppl in a predominantly black atlanta neighborhood made a good world experience witch I like . Trashcan was overflowing and tables kinda dirty but mobility scooter friendly . Take the kids when u need to save cigarette money

Pepper Chicken w/Fried Rice & Egg Roll. (by the scoop)

This Panda Wok is located at the Walmart shopping center between Rainbow & a barber shop. It's always clean on the inside & the lady who serves you is always really nice! The customers give her a hard time a lot of the time, but I guess that comes with the demographic. You get really good portions for the price & the food is always hot! They also do price per scoop if you don't want a combination plate. This is a scoop of pepper chicken, fried rice, egg roll & a Diet Coke for $5.40!!!

Good food, inexpensive. Best Chinese food I have found in Atlanta. There is always a line to wait in. You can Oder off the buffet or menue.

There's bamboo light glancing off lacquered tables, and a quiet confidence in how the servers glide around with tea that smells like green hills after rain. The lunch special is the restaurant's clever handshake. It arrives swift like a commuter train and generous like a grandmother. Bowls steamed with fresh vegetables so crisp they seemed to remember the sun, and proteins with that gentle wok-kissed char. The pricing sits in the Goldilocks zone, making weekday dining feel a touch celebratory without bruising the wallet. Then came the Dynamite Roll. A name that promised spectacle and actually delivered. Each piece held a spark of creamy heat that dissolved into sweet ocean brine. You could taste how recently the fish had been sliced; nothing dull, nothing tired, all texture and brightness. It had the kind of balance that makes chopsticks hover for a beat before going back for more. Ingredients across the board tasted like they'd traveled the short road from market to kitchen with no detours. And the ambience stitched everything together: low conversation, soft lighting, and that subtle floral note from the tea that lingered in the air. Lunch here feels like stepping briefly out of the workday and into a small sanctuary where flavor is the only clock that matters. Would absolutely return, especially during lunch hours, to let the Dynamite Roll spark the afternoon into life.
