The food tastes like the food that always eat in California from Chinese restaurants. The restaurant was clean and well maintained

We were in the mood for Chinese food and were in the Stonecrest area.  We did a quick search and found Grand China.  We pulled into the shared parking lot, entered and quickly reviewed the menu.  Wifey and I ordered a Spare Rib Tips meal with Veggie fried rice, to share.  She didn't want the rice, so we added a side order of fries.  Additionally, we ordered the Sesame chicken with fries for my daughter.  The food was ready quickly.  We packed it up and headed home.  My 1st comment on the rib tips was that they were overcooked. Some pieces were too hard and crunchy. Wifey appreciated the crunch more than I did.  My daughter commented that the Sesame chicken was not her "Fav" and the chicken almost did not taste like chicken. I had never eaten here prior to today but my coworkers and I decided to give it a try. This was by far the worst Chinese food I've ever had. There we're several different lunch specials ordered and honestly, it all tasted the same. Had it not been for the menu # number being written on the container I wouldn't have been able to differentiate the orange chicken from the general tsos chicken. I've never in my life seen YELLOW rice sold as fried rice. Not to mention they place the food in the styrofoam containers when it's fresh out the grease and it causes it to melt and the food to taste like it. Overall, waste of money as I only ate the rice & truly didn't get to enjoy my food. Would not recommend at all. read more

My favorite wings used to be braised wings, but this place has Honey Garlic wings that blow me away and are now my favorite. The taste is perfectly sweet and spicy, with a touch of citrus and a hint of garlic. I have ordered this at least the last 15+ times. My husband and I love this place. We get takeout regularly. We've never had a wrong order and have never been disappointed in the taste and huge amount of food. We're in our 70's so we usually split The Triple Hunan which makes it very easy on our budget. It's more than enough with a couple of eggrolls. Went in there with my 1 year old and they were very friendly to both her and I. I got a lunch special of chicken with broccoli, vegetable fried rice, and an egg roll. I got it for a healthier option, the sauce was a liiiiiiittle bland but it's good for the option I got. Rice was good, but I loved the egg roll. read more

I know most "carry out Chinese places " can be very typical and usually would have the same presentation when it comes to food. That's why for me, it's important to impress me with just the simplest things to keep me coming back. And this place did it. How? When I ordered my food, with any type of veggies.. They have the freshest tasting/looking veggies.. My chicken and broccoli dish tasted so good. No lie or exaggeration.. When I go to a place with old veggies.. I'll always think "Like how can you mess up stir fry carrots and broccoli.. Or mess up on the main ingredient in the food itself?" This place haven't failed me ..... So far. I decided to try this place in the strip mall near Stonecrest Mall. One point in its favor - first Chinese place near the mall that delivers. Another point - the food was hot and my order was correct. That's where my happiness ends. Their Chinese fried rice is yellow; the pepper steak looked like mystery meat and I'm pretty sure the egg roll from a box of frozen rolls. As far as taste was concerned I was nicely impressed by the spring egg roll which was only filled with cabbage, the fried rice was okay but the meat includes was bland with no taste. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I will give them credit for being one of the few places that delivers in my area due to distance. However there food consistently is inconsistent. Some days the rice tastes as though it has been recycled. So I just don't order dishes with rice. Since I have used them several times I felt the need to at least post a review. This is definitely fast food Chinese. In a crunch they are convenient. When its rainy and you don't want to go grab something they are convenient. Learn their menu. read more

Well first of all the food scores are always low, about the freshest thing u gonna find in this place is the shrimp that's comes with the shrimp fried rice. I think it depends what kind of person you are when it comes to this place, like Waffle House is good if u don't care about the score right? Same thing here..not the best quality food but not the worse...I will say if u have to stop here and get anything, just stick with the chicken wings and rice. Safest route...if u looking for real Chinese food around the corner go to Chou lee's about 10 mins away, worth the time. read more

We just moved to the area and were looking for a Chinese restaurant open late. They are open til 11 on Friday and Saturdays which is awesome. Their dumplings were OK. This place is a hit or miss. Sometimes the staff is friendly sometimes not. The little 12 year old girl that works the register seems inappropriate, but I guess it works for them. The food is somewhat bland. This place is ok for a quick snack-don't expect much though. read more

This is a restaurant that I will never patronize again!! A few months ago I placed a order for a takeout. I ordered the entree called Happy Family that should have consisted of shrimp, chicken, Scallops and crabmeat. When I received my meal the only seafood I saw was a few very dry and old tasting shrimp. I was furious that I had spent $12.00 on a $6.00 meal. I called to make a complaint and the employee that answered insisted that there was scallops, and crabmeat in the entree.
