Was supposed to be chicken friend rice, but judging by all the veggies and no chicken, it's not.

Was trying to actually find some good Chinese in Atlanta and a few people recommended this place. I'm convinced Atlanta residents don't know what good Chinese is because everything about this was mid. I ordered chicken fried rice, braised wings, and chicken lo mein. I didn't really love anything. The lo mein was ok, but had a fishy taste. Either they used too much fish oil or cooked it with seafood dishes. The chicken fried rice was a complete mess, but I'm thinking maybe they gave me the wrong order. It had snow peas, carrots, broccoli, parsnips, onions, and mushrooms. I didn't find any chicken. I'm assuming someone gave me veggie fried rice instead. I couldn't even eat it at all because I hate mushrooms. So I completely wasted my money on this. The braised wings were just ok. They had tons of garlic and it's pretty much all I could taste. Messing up my order the first time I go means I won't be going back anytime soon.

Dinner for 3 We placed an order via phone. The young gentleman who answered the phone was a little dry and monotone. He advised the food would be ready for pick up in about 20 mins. When we arrived within that time frame, it was ready and waiting. When we arrived home, the food was warm and tasty. I ordered the Curry chicken which was good, but tasted like it needed to simmer on a stove a little longer to deepen the flavor. Wifey ordered the Braised Wings with fried rice and really enjoyed it. My daughter ordered and loved the Sesame Chicken with French Fries. I thought their prices were a little high, but overall, we had a good experience with this take-out order.

It was good solid Chinese food. No eggs and no peas and carrots in the rice. I was told that the owner says thats cheap fillers and she doesn't need cheap fillers in her rice but honestly I prefer it with the eggs, peas and carrots. Also why can't we ever get bean sprouts in the fried rice anymore anywhere? Well the food was good and I noticed she hires people from the neighborhood which is a good thing. If you're going to make money off us, give back as well. I will Return and take pics of the food next time

Mongolian beef, and house fried rice

So far so good for a take out order. The Mongolian beef was sweet which I didn't expect but everything was pretty good. The house fried rice was definitely good.

When I first came here the food was good but after COVID it just went down hill. My sesame chicken is dry and looks like it's been taken off another plate and just added .. never have a bought a combination plate and could actually see the chicken through the batter and sauce of my sesame chicken.. . And let's not get started on the crab Rangoon . It was so hard to pull apart and when I took a bite it was just sour and old tasting.. definitely not what I'm used to . Overall I won't be spending my money here anymore. I better off going down the street to a less known location and receiving better food. SMH Never in my life have I tasted something like that ... 40 dollars just down the drain

They have great customer service! And they have Midwest style thin gravy which is a rare find.

Raised wings are the best in town. The sauce...addictive!!! A must try when on the East side of Atlanta.

Customer service alone deserves 10 stars. We tried a little bit of everything but my favorite of them all was the chicken wings

Orient Express - Rib tips with steamed broccoli

I asked if there was a to-go menu we could order from, and they said they had a full menu available. We pretty much knew what we wanted when we walked in. I decided to try the barbecue rib tips with a side of steamed broccoli, and Wifey went with the Roast Pork Egg Foo Young and grabbed a bottle of lemonade from their side cooler. The person behind the counter told me the order would be ready in 15-20 minutes, so I set a quick 15-minute timer on my back. When I came back, the food wasn't ready, so I ended up waiting another five to seven minutes while a steady stream of people came in--some dining in and others grabbing buffet containers to go. (Side note: if you get a buffet to-go container, you're charged by weight.) The staff seemed friendly and kept things moving. When our food finally came out, we packed everything up and headed home. The food actually looked very fresh when we opened it. I dug right in, and everything tasted just as good as it looked--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Wifey commented that the sauce on her dish was way too salty--so much so that she had to mix it with rice to tone it down. She said the other components of the dish were tasty, but if we go back, she'd skip that dish. Aside from the salty sauce, the overall experience was better than expected--definitely more good than bad for a first visit. 3.5 rating @whatsthenextmemory

During that time I took a closer look at the food on the buffet and noticed roaches crawling around. Needless to say I walked out and will not be returning.
