There are very few people dining. I like the quietness while I dine. The food is excellent, no complaints, you get plenty to eat. My gf usually brings some home. My pet peeve is, the hostess, waitresses are so unfriendly! They couldn't smile at a joke. They barely understand English. They never come and check on us. Tonight I ran out of beverage, no refill. We were not done eating when the waitress brought the check. Didn't ask if we wanted dessert or anything else. At checkout, wasn't asked how was everything. So to sum this up, good food, plenty of it but the service sucks.

It came a few minutes after the stated "10 minutes", (15 minutes, but that is 50 % longer than promised) however it came out piping hot, bagged and ready to go with a nice side of a coconut mushroom soup that I did not expect. Inside was nicely decorated and in keeping with what I consider to be traditional. The outside is nice and neat, very clean, and in a convenient outdoor shopping area with convenient parking. 5 stars. Value here is more of a 2 stars situation. Lunch was listed as $15.95 (including the beef option). I always tip at least 10% on a carry out, but shame on me, the had already added that but didn't say anything, nor did I read it anywhere, but I tipped on top of that and should not have. So basically with entree, tax, tip,.....and tip, I was at $20 for a lunch. To go. 3 stars on my food. The food quality was good, though I did not care for the soup. It was so seaweed heavy, funky, different, that I poured it out. The Pad Si Ew was good, but needed Soy sauce. There was none to be found in the bag. None on the counter to pack. Oh well. The buffet line was constantly refreshed, so everything stayed hot, and while the menu is small, there's enough to satisfy most cravings. With the grill being changed frequently, we didn't leave smelling like we'd bathed in smoke a big win! Our usual sweet potato dilemma? Tian handled it immediately by providing a separate pot to cook it in. That small gesture really showed the difference between good customer service and exceptional customer service. If you've never done Korean bbq / hot pot before, it can be a bit confusing and intimidating at first, but they do a good job of explaining everything. I hadn't done it in several years, so I felt like a newbie all over again! Our table shared several things for the grill in the middle of the table--this is a shared dining experience. For $5 more, we also added on the hot pot, and everybody picks their own broth and accoutrements. You have your own little heater for it in front of you. To drink, I had a soju cosmo which was tasty. To eat, I started at the sides and toppings bar which was fun. By the time we were done picking out our items and made it back to our table, our order of variety of meats and veggies to share had arrived. For my hot pot, I did the Szechuan spicy broth. I can't remember which items I selected for the hot pot vs the bbq, but I personally chose enoki mushrooms, quail eggs, pork dumplings, and fish cakes. Everything was yummy!
