Thai Palace is a solid place for Thai in Conyers! They serve a variety of traditional dishes, and have a great Sushi selection. It's housed inside a cute. Victorian-esque house, and seats about 50(?). Decorations are pretty traditional, without going overboard. The quality of food was excellent, tasted fresh, and came pretty fast! They even brought a fried Springrolls to the table, one each for me and my friend. That is apparently complimentary during lunch. I had the Pad See Ew with beef, and she had the Cashew Nut Chicken. My Pad See Ew could have used a little more aged soy sauce, but I corrected it with their homemade fish sauce. Over all, great lunch fare! read more

Ate here for dinner last night. We order the spicy catfish and garlic hot shrimp. The food was fast and delicious. We both had a side of Thai friend rice. It was just okay. The place looks like a house, we were in a room by ourselves. The parking lot is a little gravel parking lot Only one service that I notice, but she did good checking on us. read more

The coconut soup was fabulous! The Panang Curry sauce was too thick, and had large chunks of peppers (and hard green beans) instead of thin, julienned peppers. Not a fan of green beans in my Panang Curry. Great flavor though. It reminded me of a meal you quickly throw-together when you're pressed for time. It was very LOUD, which was unfortunate for such a quaint atmosphere. Music was playing AND a LOUD sports game on the TV in the bar. I'm not trying to hear all that noise when I'm having a nice meal. read more

I went on a solo date and the server was very rude wouldn't bring me the items I asked for. He would look at me crazy every time I asked for basic stuff. Then had the nerve to ask me if I had money to pay for my meal. Food is good sometimes but service is very trash. read more

Ordered awhile ago. I don't understand the hype. Purchased dumplings and spring rolls ordered 2 of each almost 40$. Not worth it. We have the worst selection of food here. That's why I don't mine riding to get quality food read more

There were five adults and two children in our party. We went on a Saturday evening at about 6:30pm and they weren't overly busy. We were seated right away. The food was good or looked good as I didn't taste everything. I got the Spicy Thai Chicken Basil dish which was really enjoyable. I sampled the Kamikaze Roll and the Green Dragon Roll and both were tasty. There was a Chicken Curry dishe and two chicken teriyaki dishes. Overall food was delicious. They could have provided just a tad more rice. Our server was attentive though she didn't smile. I liked the atmosphere of it being in an old house. read more

The experience today for lunch, after attending the Spring Festival, could have been great but the baby roach in my broccoli chicken entree immediately dropped my review to a big fat zero. They took the entree off the bill, obviously, but my stomach has been turned forever...and I won't be going back...ever‍ read more

I called ahead for pick up! The service was good but I was a little nervous as it appeared to be only one server working and they got a rush. The food was fire! Everything was deliciously good! read more

Thai Palace's cuisine never disappoints and the service, while sometimes a bit slow, is always gracious. Tonight, they were outstanding in every way. We were attended by two excellent servers and the chefs outdid themselves on the Sexy Lady specialty roll and Pad Woon Sen, which is a real treat to find on an "American" Thai menu and always so delicious. read more

Great service, employees are nice. Food was good there was nothing I could find to complain about will be a place I frequent.

Beautiful aesthetics, easy environment to talk to people you're eating with, great customer service. I love trying calamari wherever I go, this calamari was really good! The breading wasn't oily, crispy, and the squid wasn't chewy! Sushi was superb, fresh, flavorful Ginger tea was nice, smooth, nice sweetness Woosen was light, good flavors, lots of veggies was a bonus Spaghetti was heavy (shareable), good amount of veggies. read more

I must say when I arrived, I was pretty skeptical of trying Thai Palace. The reviews were great, but the house was kind of throwing me off along with the parking situation. Anyhow, I parked my car and headed inside. They had just opened, so there weren't any other diners but I read that this place could get pretty packed. I order the drunken noodles and a veggie roll that had asparagus, avocado and carrots in it. Everything was SO delicious! I was so glad to have found this place and that I didn't let me skepticisms turn me away. I would love to see what the ambiance is like on the weekend, so of course I have to go back! read more

very beautiful place downtown Conyers. Wonderful food, friendly service. I definitely recommend and will be there again.

Food is fine but if plan on trying to take out then sit and order it instead! I waited 45 min for coconut soup, basil rolls, and cucumber salad! AWFUL! read more

Both tasty meals and kind service. I've been coming here to eat for many years because I live nearby. I've never had a bad dining experience and don't really have any complaints. Even though the decor could be improved, the overall experience is not lessened. Your time and attention should be paid to the beautiful family who runs the restaurant and makes the meal. read more

if you like your food cold then this is the place.ordered coconut soup and chicken noodle dish and was very disappointed.

Great Thai food in a wonderful old house in the center of downtown Conyers. Service was excellent and food was delicious.

This is my second time trying this place and the first time I wasn't impressed. This time I really wasnt impressed at all. I'm sorry but they should really do better. My basil rolls were OK. The plum sauce is really good but my pad Thai was terrible. I feel like the chicken was cooked, frozen and heated to serve instead of fresh. I had way too many noodles and the sauce wasn't appeasing nor was it barely enough to cover because it was too much. The shrimp in my pad Thai was good. But over all I probably wouldn't order here again. I ended up throwing my food away. read more

I was pleasantly surprised how good this place was! You have to give this restaurant a try. The people are nice, really good food and an overall great atmosphere! Atmosphere We missed this place a couple of times bc it's not your typical restaurant look. It's sort of built into a house with a big patio. It's comfy and reminds me of a home. Don't judge a book by it's cover! Also, they have parking and there's parking just a block away near other shops. So no need to worry about where to park. Food We started with chicken satay. As soon as it arrived, you couldn't help but stop and smell. The chicken looked nice and juicy - and it was exactly that. I couldn't get enough of the peanut sauce. But honestly, if you're not a big fan of peanut sauce, the chicken didn't even need it. That's how good it was. For the entree we had pad thai with chicken and shrimp. It was so good! Just the right amount of savory to sweetness. Nice crunch from the veggies and peanuts. The shrimp was plump and chicken was silky. I'm already drooling for more. We also had the spider roll, which is a soft shell crab roll, and the rainbow roll. Both were really good and very fresh tasting. I really like soft shell crab rolls. This one had a surprising twist of asparagus. Both were really good though. Service We had a very nice server. It just so happens that day that there was only one cook and two servers. So waited a bit for our food but we didn't mind. There's so much to admire about the place and to just enjoy each other's company. Service may have taken a little longer but this can happen when you're supporting smaller local businesses and the food completely made up for it! read more

We went here for our Valentine's dinner. The wait for a table for 2 was 49mins. It appeared to be 2 waitresses and the manager on staff and there were several tables available. When we were seated the waitress was pleasant and took our order. Our appetizers came out really fast but our actual order took very long to come out. My Thai noodles came out first and I was able to almost finish my entree before the first sushi roll came out. I believe they forgot about our order and that's why it was brought to the table late. We couldn't eat our dinner together. The manager removed our sexy lady sushi roll off the bill. However the food was cooked very well and tasted great but the service could use room for improvement. I would recommend this for the food. Order out if you are in a rush. Nice building for downtown Conyers. read more

Fantastic service. Great food. I ordered Panag curry and spring rolls with peanut sauce. Our server was so gracious and fast. (One server was young and hard working, supported our very large party and never broke a sweat.) as we left he said when we walked in the door his goal was to treat us like family. He really did. The building/house is old so was a little loud but the service and food made it epic. Will def come again. read more

Thai Palace is a house Styled restaurant just off of Main Street in Old Conyers, Georgia. There is plenty of free parking in the back of the house. Mcousin and I stopped in for a quick bite and take out. Their reataurant score is An A (way to go!) so I was happy for that. There are many pleasant people to attend to you; all very nice and professional. While we waited we walked exploring to take pictures and check the place out. The decor was simply amazing. There was beautiful Asian Art as well as Stone statues. The bathrooms were not gender neutral and super clean. The sushi station was tucked in the corner in the back. There are bar seats where yo can sit if you just want sushi alone. The floors were wood and polished nicely. The spicy rice was super spicy which I like! The super crunchy roll was lightly flash fried with loads of flavor. read more

As a surfer on the World Wide Web, I've seen the memes. The ones where there are two toilets in the same bathroom, but I thought it was a myth. A photoshop job. But, was wrong. The men's room here has two toilets nearly next to each other. Fascinating, and worth at least one star. Aside from the duel toilets, this is the world's okayest Thai restaurant. The pad Thai is very bland. I have never had bland Thai food until today. The coconut soup is delicious however, and the environs are interesting. Two toilets. Wow. I've seen it all. read more

I was in the Downtown Conyers,Ga area looking for someplace to grab lunch. I drove past this Victorian style house and seen people eating out side on the large front porch, then I noticed it was a Thai restaurant. My son was working in Olde Town Conyers and would rave about their sushi- but I hadn't tried it because sushi is just not my thing...but I found out that they serve calamari and let me tell you- it was the best i have ever had. It was the perfect golden color without being greasy- it was more like the calamari was enclosed in a cloud of goodness.. we now have to go and order it for me like once a week- which my son loves, because he can get his favorite sushi. The location is a beautiful old house that just looks comforting and relaxing with indoor and outdoor seating. There is extra parking in the back, but the entrance is in the front-if you have a hard time finding a parking spot. But worth the walk through the historic area if need be.. read more

Friends took me out to dinner for my birthday on Friday night, March 17, 2023. What a mistake! Took forever to even see our waitress after we were seated. We were ready to just leave because we didn't even have our drinks and a table next to us came in after us and already had their drinks and hors d'oeuvres. It was like pulling teeth to get our spring rolls. When they finally came they were delicious as usual! A simple meal for five took over two hours. I ordered chicken fried rice and there were two pieces of chicken in the complete dish. My daughter ordered soup and there was one piece of chicken in it. They are not a cheap restaurant, no excuse for them to skimp on ingredients. The last three times we have gone there service has been terrible!! Most likely my last time. read more

5star! What a delight! I was heading down I-20 taking a load of produce to Mississippi when I developed a wish for sushi. Google gave me this little wonder and I called in a sushi/sashimi lunch combo ($13.99). Imagine my delight when I arrived just a few minutes off the interstate to a insanely charming renovated old Victorian with wrap around porch seating under a couple magnolias. Lovely interior. Just a fantastic experience. Now I didn't have any Thai food. I wish I had. I wish I lived near by. I would eat until belly burst. I did instead take my sushi/sashimi combo and break it open on the porch in the March Spring Georgia weather. Perfectly tasty roll and nigiri and little sashimi bites. Fantastic cucumber salad with oranges. I love it here! read more
