Just left here ordered beef egg foo young gravy so salty it's unbearable we can't even Eat it and the omelette is full of onions frozen peas and carrots no cabbage or beef just a waste of money!!! So pissed I called to tell them and only thing the lady said was I can give u new gravy WTH I'm good never again

Fried Rice W Sesame Chicken & Hot Crab Salad. $3 BUCKS. Low Budget get the job done.

So I finally visit after hearing about this $1 dollar scoop deal going here, I'm like hellllnah!!! (Im from the Bay). You start with 2 asian lady's who seem to be in a panic, I guess it's creating a busy energy atmosphere. Just me and one lady behind. You start with your typical fried rice or noodles then step to the right and go along with the items you want. Pretty much like Panda Express. Everytime she tosses one in the box that's a buck. The quality wise?....ehhhhhh yeah a dollar a scoop like said. Fried rice is like an orange color dye and maybe one egg for every pound of rice made, with a pea here and there. They do top it fresh with steam onions. The chicken selection looked the same to me with diffrent name tags on top. These chinese joints are typical in Cali where they sell take out food but put out a cheaper version of everything up front in house for the hurry and go-type of customer. I spent 8 bucks on 2 boxes and had food enough for me and the the next day after for work lunch. Yo if you like saving money, rather spend extra dollars on traveling around the world, rather live on a small budget and ball out elsewhere then this is the place for you. A struggling 3 stars I'm being nice.

Orient Express - Rib tips with steamed broccoli

We were in the area and spotted Orient Express for some quick Chinese food. We walked in and…read moreimmediately noticed the buffet. I asked if there was a to-go menu we could order from, and they said they had a full menu available. We pretty much knew what we wanted when we walked in. I decided to try the barbecue rib tips with a side of steamed broccoli, and Wifey went with the Roast Pork Egg Foo Young and grabbed a bottle of lemonade from their side cooler. The person behind the counter told me the order would be ready in 15-20 minutes, so I set a quick 15-minute timer on my back. When I came back, the food wasn't ready, so I ended up waiting another five to seven minutes while a steady stream of people came in--some dining in and others grabbing buffet containers to go. (Side note: if you get a buffet to-go container, you're charged by weight.) The staff seemed friendly and kept things moving. When our food finally came out, we packed everything up and headed home. The food actually looked very fresh when we opened it. I dug right in, and everything tasted just as good as it looked--fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Wifey commented that the sauce on her dish was way too salty--so much so that she had to mix it with rice to tone it down. She said the other components of the dish were tasty, but if we go back, she'd skip that dish. Aside from the salty sauce, the overall experience was better than expected--definitely more good than bad for a first visit. 3.5 rating @whatsthenextmemory

During that time I took a closer look at the food on the buffet and noticed roaches crawling around. Needless to say I walked out and will not be returning.

Baan Thai - Pad si-ew

Ok, so I'm definitely gonna give them another chance, I wasn't vastly dissatisfied with this first…read moretime, I just wasn't wowed. I've literally waited 20 years to try this place (known if it never went) until my buddy spoke highly of their Basil Duck. On the day I tried it, I didn't have a whole lot of time, so I ordered a to -go Pad Si Ew with beef. It came a few minutes after the stated "10 minutes", (15 minutes, but that is 50 % longer than promised) however it came out piping hot, bagged and ready to go with a nice side of a coconut mushroom soup that I did not expect. Inside was nicely decorated and in keeping with what I consider to be traditional. The outside is nice and neat, very clean, and in a convenient outdoor shopping area with convenient parking. 5 stars. Value here is more of a 2 stars situation. Lunch was listed as $15.95 (including the beef option). I always tip at least 10% on a carry out, but shame on me, the had already added that but didn't say anything, nor did I read it anywhere, but I tipped on top of that and should not have. So basically with entree, tax, tip,.....and tip, I was at $20 for a lunch. To go. 3 stars on my food. The food quality was good, though I did not care for the soup. It was so seaweed heavy, funky, different, that I poured it out. The Pad Si Ew was good, but needed Soy sauce. There was none to be found in the bag. None on the counter to pack. Oh well. I'll go try the Basil Duck next time. And probably sit down for a more in depth look.

Fast nice servers, cute quaint Thai restaurant…read more The food came out fast and I enjoyed it, and not too shabby pricing- with good amount of options on the menu too! There isn't much options for different sauces, but I did enjoy my food and the experience here.
