Large shrimp fried rice: plenty of cleaned shrimp in the rice. Broccoli Chicken or Broccoli Beef, you get fresh broccoli and good chicken or beef. This takeout restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in the neighborhood. Don't miss out on good food you can share with family and friends. I did take potstickers, the Chinese appetizers to Chastain Park once. Everyone enjoyed it because it comes with ribs, chicken and dumplings. It was a little too greasy for my taste but it still tasted good. That is when I realized it was not a restaurant but a takeout place focused on feeding the community and not an elaborate group, dressed up, on a night beneath the stars. I understood things happen so I gave them another chance. The young boy answering the phones was rude and condescending, once confronted he continued to have a nasty attitude. This meal has turned me vegetarian. Last time I was here I ordered the beef with broccoli (a favorite dish of mine) but the beef didn't taste like beef so this time I got chicken with broccoli thinking how can you mess up chicken...... it didn't even taste like chicken. Good food but entirely too expensive for a local Chinese restaurant. Their prices are 2.5x higher than their competitors. They do not boast organic or quality ingredients so the price range is excessive. These people have been in this location for years serving the community and it is better food and service. One would think it is your usual Chinese food. But this was really tasty. The shrimp fried rice had actually some shrimp in it. Not like the 5 or 6 shrimp I've gotten from other places. Their food is really good overall. The Mongolian street noodles are solid, and I really enjoy them. I will say that their fried rice is yellowish instead of brown and does not have alot of extras in there like green onions or soybeans and some veggies. I am used to that and this is what I prefer in fried rice. Me personally, I reccommend this place because they do a great job and are very nice people. They never mess up the order. Usually you may expect the beef to be tough, but not mushy. I don't know what they put in their wings when they season them bc it taste sweet and savory even without the flavors they offer.
