I visited Buffalo china after checking out yelp for dinner. Buffalo China seemed to have some decent reviews, so I went on in! Speaking about positives: Located at the intersection of Hairston road and rockbridge road in a little strip, finding a parking spot is easy to come by in this shared lot. Finding a seat is pretty easy too, because the interior is much larger than it looks from the outside. Customer service is stellar. The woman I spoke with was very friendly, happy to see her customers and she gave the place a mom and pop feel that's hard to duplicate. Not so positives: I really wanted to love the food because of how nice customer service was but what I ordered for a to go meal just wasn't very good. I ordered their General Tso chicken ($7.50) and subbed beef fried rice for their standard rice (this brought my total to $10.84). The fried rice came with strips of beef, onion and corn, but man was it almost dripping in grease. I took this meal with me the next day and I just didn't finish it because it was so greasy. The actual general chicken was very bready, having what seems like very little chicken. The chicken was not crispy at all and the flavor was just okay. An egg roll accompanies the meal too but again, very limp and soggy (all after about an 8 to 10 minute drive before eating some of it). Buffalo china doesn't completely focus on Asian fusion dishes. You can get burgers, wings, fish and philly cheese steak. Maybe I should have got one of those dishes, or maybe the chef just had an off night, but that evening and the next afternoon for lunch, the food just didn't measure up to some of the other experiences i've had with fried rice and General Tso. As this is a local store that's been around for a long time, if you're in the area, maybe give them a shot, especially with some of their other dishes. If I go back, I will definitely order something different. read more

Oh the chicken fried rice!! The best rice and I've had a lot of rice. The staff is very friendly everytime I come in. I ordered chicken fried rice and a half and half order of 5 teriyaki wings and 5 honey lemon pepper wings because I couldn't decide on which wings I wanted. I was afraid to try the honey lemon pepper and not like it. I've had lemon pepper but never with honey. I wished I had gotten all honey lemon pepper wings! They had an awesome taste. The spring rolls are very delicious nice & crispy. I had the vegetable spring rolls. Prices are very reasonable. There is ample inside seating to dine in. I mostly take out and eat at home. I've been craving some good Chinese food for awhile. After finding a lot of mixed reviews, for different restaurants, I decided to try a restaurant that I've driven past a lot. Buffalo China is located off of Hairston Rd. It's extremely easy to find. Upon walking in, you'll noticed that it's setup like your typical carry out restaurant. There are two long benches on both sides of the counter, where you can sit and wait for your food. There are also some tables available for dining in. Before I go any further, let me say that I'm fairly new to Atlanta (originally from the Midwest). Our typical fried rice back home has green onions, eggs, and bean sprouts. Most of the fried rice that I've tried since I've been here hasn't really been "fried" and they've always had peas and carrots. I was advised by a friend, who is also from the Midwest, to request that the fried rice is "fried dark" when ordering. I ordered using this bit of advice, but didn't really expect much. I had a medium beef fried rice and a pork egg roll. When I opened it, I was extremely surprised to see green onions and bean sprouts, with no peas and carrots in sight! I was also surprised at how much rice comes in a medium. At $5.49, the fried rice was a great deal. There was also plenty of meat in the rice. It looked so much like the fried rice I'm used to eating. After tasting the rice, there was something that was a bit different about it. Not good, not bad, just different. As of now, it's the best fried rice that I've had since I've moved here. The egg roll was just your average egg roll. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu items in the future. read more

Placed an order through Uber Eats and was pretty underwhelmed. The shrimp fried rice had about 2.5 pieces of shrimp all together and I have absolutely no clue what was in that crab Rangoon but it definitely wasn't what it was supposed to be. Food was also pretty bland. read more

Very disappointed in the service tonight. I ordered the Philly combo with fry/drink. I get hone with just chopped meat, no cheese, onions or green peppers. I called immediately and the owner was like, it has cheese, I told her no. She told me return to add the cheese. I showed her a dry ass sandwich with just meat. Now of course the meat is cool and fries getting cold. I asked if she could add onions, peppers and tomatoes. She said sure, I get m6 sandwich back and she only added cold ass big chunks not slices if tomatoes and half slice of cheese. I had to come home and add more cheese and the entiremeal is cold. . The young lady that works there makes you feel at home every visit. She's sweet, the food is delicious and it's a nice clean environment.

No bueno. I ordered beef lo mein but I got chicken and shrimp lo mein. I was pleasantly surprised at the upsell I didn't have to pay for. When I got home to eat it. The shrimp was mad salty the lo mein is thicker than expected. It was run of the mill Chinese food. The place has things others to than Chinese food like philly steak sandwiches. Not a genuine Chinese food place which is why it wasn't all that good to me. read more

This place is fantastic. The menu is just what you need. Asian cuisine, American cuisine, and Mediterranean. You want some lo mein, a friend wants a burger and another friend wants a salad and a gyro come here. It's just a big spectrum of food. For cheap. TVs cozy quaint seating. I love this place. read more
