"Cheapest Chinese takeout in the area with friendly owners" This place has to be the cheapest Chinese take out I have ever encountered in the American South. The interior is old but the food is fine. If you live nearby and need a quick take out and don't want to drive all the way to Buford highway for some real deal then this place will do! Hard working owners and his wife Id constantly support them just because they are hard working and they are always nice and smiling to customers! Highly recommended!

Since I was too lazy to cook or drive far in the rain, I decided to give Fried Rice a shot. I ordered the Kung Pao Beef extra spicy with white rice and Triple Happiness soup to go. I would DEF not eat inside because the lack of atmosphere. I was not overly impressed, but not unsatisfied either. It was as good as fast, cheap Chinese takeout gets. You get what you pay for. I will be back to try the wings I read about on here and report back!

I love this place. I've tasted better, but this place gives you the best bang for your buck. When I get Chinese takeout, I look for restaurant cleanliness, price compared to the amt of food, and of course taste. This place is the cheapest that I've ever seen in Ga for the amount of food that you get. Every meal comes with a mini egg roll, and shrimp fried rice. The meals are between $5.75 and $6.75. What?! Awesome! I like to order my food with light sauce because they do put a lot of sauce over their meat. The portions are enough for two people. The wings are big and tasty. Great customer service. The restaurant isn't appealing enough for me to want to eat inside. I don't know if they use msg or not, but I don't get sick from their food like I do at a lot of Chinese restaurants. Also..... They cater!!!!

Eggplant w. garlic Sauce (V9) $7.50, Hot and Sour Soup Quart (SP3) $3.50, Steamed Dumplings

You cannot beat this for the price. They give very generous portions for just 6 or 7 dollars. The food is pretty great.

Small, hole in wall. Food takes a while. Good food and price though, and lots of seats for a small Chinese place

Upon entering the restaurant I was confused as to if the place was even operational. There's a couple of tables pushed to the left against the wall and chairs stacked up. In the very rear of the dimly lit restaurant is the order counter. The interior screams Covid lockdown. The counter and makeshift storage room to the left are wrapped in a thick plastic wrap that makes reading the menu behind the counter almost impossible. They do however have menus strewn around on the counter. On arrival there was only one customer in there. Seems we just did beat the crowd , because it got packed very quickly. There was about a 20 min wait for our food. By the table and chairs set up it doesn't appear dine in is an option. I had spring rolls and broccoli with garlic sauce and fried rice. The spring rolls were terrible 0/10 but the entree itself was delicious! 10/10 recommend you try the Broccoli with garlic sauce.

Definitely do not waste your time here there's tons of other food in the parking lot. they are also fixing inside so I know that they are not keeping the food away from the building materials along with children in the establishment find somewhere else it's not worth it.

We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

This restaurant is an absolutely legend and staple of the Emory-neighborhood. Whatever you do you MUST go at some point in your ATL career. Everything they do, they do well, and you can feel like you're participating in a little piece of local history by coming to this spot that's been here 40+ years and counting! I mean truly, TRULY-- one dish is better than the next, so I couldn't pick just one. HOWEVER if you NEED a rec / crowd pleaser, you can't go wrong with the Mongolian Beef! Any way-- enough said-- make Golden Buddha a part of your ATL repertoire!

We ordered a variety Mongolian beef, rice, soup, spring rolls, and lo mein and everything had good flavor. No major complaints on taste. Where it lost points for me was the pricing and menu structure. It's a pretty expensive Asian spot, and unlike most places, you can't really mix and match smaller items easily. You're mostly choosing between full dinner plates or single items that run $20+, which adds up quickly. We ended up around $80 for two people, and for what it is, that just didn't feel worth it. Service was decent, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. Overall, not bad, not great just somewhere in the middle. Ratings: Price: 1/5 (for this type of place) Food Taste: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Overall: Around a 3/5, good food, but the pricing holds it back.

So if you want some very reasonably priced Chinese food, this spot is some place that you could…read moredefinitely try out. It's in a strip mall off of Buford highway so the parking is free so just keep that in mind. Although depending on what time of night you go, it could be an issue with parking because there is a lounge basically next door. I got it in close to closing time and it wasn't even an issue when I asked could I order. She was super family and waited for me to figure out what I wanted. I ended up going for the general tso chicken, spring rolls, fried rice, and a pot roast roll. General tso chicken - The chicken itself was pretty decent. The flavor was good, the consistency was pretty okay. And you got a nice size portion. I got a combination but it seemed more like a lunch portion than a full dinner portion but it's okay. That did not have an impact on how I rated it, especially because you get so much bang for your book consider how much Chinese food cost these days lol! Fried rice - The fried rice didn't really have a lot of flavor to it. It came with onions in the fried rice, but I was about it for the most part. It was a type of thing to where you needed that the soy sauce because whatever flavor they had, was a little bit more bland it didn't carry the meal. Or you needed to have the sauce from the chicken to give it a little extra flavor. Spring rolls - spring rolls and the roast rolls kind of had the same issue, flavor-wise they were okay. But it felt like they were cooked a little bit too long. But it was a spring roll so it kind of was what it was lol It wasn't bad so I don't know how to describe that but it was okay. Pot roast roll - again, the taste for the roll was decent. I liked it. It's just that I wish that it wasn't fried to a crisp more than necessary. It was hard to get to the flavor because you're really trying to navigate the way the crunch was set up. Because it was a hell of a lot of crutch! Like it's sat in the deep fry for a little bit too long. It could have been an off day, I understand that. Would I give it a shot, I would go back again maybe. Again it was very reasonably priced food and it wasn't bad. But I would probably make a couple of different moves. I would have no problem getting the chicken, I will try a couple others. But maybe the fried rice with something in it would have been a little more appropriate. Because the play fried rice didn't hit. And you know anything about Chinese food, at least in America, that is a staple You have to have the fried rice be on point. But here's the thing, there's so many other places along this road that you can get Chinese food from that it wouldn't be my first choice, like I said it wasn't terrible, it's just the fried rice having little flavor and the egg rolls having the shell of an armadillo, really didn't do well by me but I'm sure maybe not even a block or so up I can find other Chinese food So I wouldn't rush back, but I'm not saying I wouldn't go back but I want to be honest about my opinion.
