Lemon Pepper Wings with Vegetable Fried Rice and Egg Roll!
Tiffany S.

CHEAP AND FAST DELIVERY! I ordered the wing combo ($8.75) lemon pepper wings with vegetable fried rice, egg roll and a soda. YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT. The delivery minimum is $10, so I threw an extra egg roll on the order because EGG ROLLS. The wings were PERFECTION. Crispy and coated just right. The rice had tons of veggies and it was fresh!Easily some of the best wings in East Atlanta, from a chinese restaurant. Go check em out! They're open and deliver till 3am!

A true hole in the wall - no dine-in; only take-out and delivery. Not being in their delivery area (probably), I hopped over to EAV to check this place out. I've driven past it a billion times and it's been bookmarked for ages. First order of business is parking in the cramped Citgo lot. People tend to drive about - and park - haphazardly here, so it's a bit of a challenge surviving without getting bumped. The door is to the right of the gas station's door. They have a very small area inside for ordering with three cramped seats that you can use while you wait, or you can wait outside in the gas station parking lot. Perhaps delivery is their preferred method of food distribution? Anyway, it took about 15 minutes to get the food on a Friday at 4:30, which is not too bad. Three items cost ~$17, all were 'small'. For portion sizes, either see the various food photos or look at the sample food containers stapled to the wall. Or see the photo someone took of the wall. Bottom line is that large is huge; small is a more normal portion, I think. Hunan chicken quite tasty and fresh, but not spicy at all. Same with the garlic broccoli & eggplant, although that one isn't billed as spicy. Both were well worth ordering. Chicken fried rice also good, but pretty standard. Probably should have ordered Singapore noodles too. Next time. Recommended. Not open for lunch.

Can't beat the service, food, and price. Handsdown best Chinese on the east side. Trust that it's amazing even if it's inside a gas station

If you're looking for some great wings, The Wing Bar is definitely worth a try!…read more In the city of wings, I'm always up for some great wings and trying a new spot in Atlanta and that's how I came across The Wing Bar. At first I was nervous because I saw their 'vings' first and thought it was a vegan wing spot and that I was being teased by the delicious pics, lolol. I was so happy to read on and see that they also offered chicken wings along with their fan-favorite vegan options. I've ordered a few times in different ways, but pickup is always a breeze with the Wing Bar team. Although parking can be kinda crazy in this area sometimes, there's always some place to park and run in quickly. The Wing Bar doesn't offer seating space, you'll have to take your meal to go, but you'll want privacy to dig into these wings anyways. I feel like every time I've ordered, when I arrive, my food is hot, ready and waiting for me. I'm an "extra sauce" kinda girl and don't have an issue paying for it, but some places won't budge. Not here. I always ask for extra on my wings/fries or on the side and they're so quick and kind about it! The customer service is wonderful! As far as flavors go, I've found myself partial to the Honey Hot wherever I go and once or twice I've gone for the regular Hot. Both are delicious. The wings are always great sizes, juicy and so flavorful. The fries don't stand out too much but they're a great accompaniment to the yummy wings. Absolutely one of my new go-to wing spots for me since my first bite!

Our go-to this trip was the hot honey & garlic parmesan, both FIRE but I'm giving the nod to the hot honey! The combination of hot & sticky was on point. Wings were most definitely fresh & shout-out to home girl working the counter. My order took a lil longer than usual so we got 10 on the house. Overall, the 10pc pricing could be said to be a little high, but post pandemic inflation is real. Pull up when you on the east side and give Wing Bar a try, they even got vegans covered with Vegan wings.

Chicken on Fire - Wings and Teriyaki bowl.

Chicken on Fire in Atlanta is the kind of place you recommend to friends and keep in regular…read morerotation. The teriyaki bowl is a top tier move. The chicken is grilled fresh, tender on the inside with a clean char on the outside, and that teriyaki sauce brings real flavor. It hits the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and bold. Add in the fresh veggies and fluffy rice, and you have a meal that is filling and straight up satisfying. The chicken skewers deserve their own spotlight too. They come out hot, juicy, and seasoned right, not dry, not bland, just good. You can taste the smoke from the grill in every bite. Order a few with one of the house sauces and you have a perfect combo whether it's lunch, dinner, or a quick protein fix. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is consistent which matters. The portions are solid, prices are fair, and the flavors are on point. If you are in Atlanta and want a reliable spot for good grilled chicken done with style, Chicken on Fire is definitely worth pulling up on. Easy five stars.

I was not expecting these wings to take me out the way they did. I ordered the regular wings (not…read morethe jumbo) with Honey Lemon Pepper and the Chicken On Fire flavor, and both were top tier. Flavor was on point, seasoning was right, and the wings were actually crispy, which should be the bare minimum but somehow is a luxury these days. And let me brag on their delivery game for a second. They do something a lot of wing spots refuse to learn. They do NOT trap steaming hot wings inside a tight styrofoam sauna where everything gets soggy in five minutes. No. Chicken On Fire said "we care about your crunch." The wings came in this open waxed cardboard/paper setup inside a sealed paper bag that still had enough ventilation to keep the wings crispy while keeping my food covered and safe. I opened that bag and the wings were still hot, still crispy, still living their best life. If you love wings with real flavor and people who understand proper packaging, add Chicken On Fire to your rotation. This place is legit.

So, I finally had the opportunity to stop by this famous establishment. First of all, they open at 5. There are people literally waiting in their cars in the parking lot for them to open at 5. The wings sell out everyday. I say all this to say, you need to get there early. This is not one of those just drop in whenever joints. This is very much a dive bar and there is nothing special about it. I will say if you are trying to come with friends y'all better come together otherwise yall won't be doing anything together. Now, on to the reason why I was here- the infamous wings. The positives-They come out hot and fresh; you can tell they are oven baked and not fried; there are several flavors for you to try; and the food came out quick. I tried lemon pepper because that is the baseline for me when it comes to new wing spots. I'm not a fan of dry rubs so the taste was just okay to me. I will most likely need to go back to try another flavor to give a more accurate assessment but I will say I may have been spoiled by the whole lemon pepper wet thing so again, that created a bias for me. The local is near my job so I will come back and visit on another day and try another flavor just to give a full assessment.

Once I got inside, the line for wings was at the door, and the line for drinks was also quite long. All the tables were taken, which made sense considering the crowd. However, once I finally got a table and some wings, I was pleasantly surprised. The wings were fall-off-the-bone meat packed with flavor. I got ranch on the side, which was creamy and delicious. I would definitely recommend this place, but be prepared to ask around for a table and wait in some lines. Also, keep in mind that the restaurant only makes a certain amount of wings a day, so get there before they're gone!

There are a few tv's throughout for watching sports and they have an outside space for game play as well. Food and drinks My wife and I are definitely oyster people, so when we saw there was an oyster quad it was an immediate yes. We got the butter garlic, smoked gouda, Rockefeller, and the shrimp boss. They were all large and stuffed, exactly like I like it. Service Everyone was friendly each time I went and it did not take long for our food to come out, even with there being a little bit of a crowd the second time I was there. Verdict This is definitely a cool gem in EAV. Add it to your bar hop list, and grab an oyster. You'll be glad you did. Until next time!
