Was a walk in during the week for a quick lunch. I was able to get a table immediately, and the server was at my table within just a few moments to get me a beverage. I tried one of the noodle dishes per the recommendation of the server. They also start you off with your choice of soup, which I chose the coconut. The food came out extremely fast and was delicious! Definitely recommend. I also thought it was a very fair price point for lunch.

Decent Thai place, very good ambience and quick service and decent food. Got spicy vegetable tofu from lunch menu with coconut soup and it was fairly good.

It's more like 3.5 stars but since that isn't an option, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and give them 4 for the friendly staff and quick service. For an appetizer we for the vegetable samosas and the shrimp roll. I enjoyed my samosas but thought the rolls were too greasy. However my bf liked the rolls and not the samosas. For lunch entrees I got the beef rendang while my bf for the spicy fried rice with shrimp. I asked for spicy, from the menu it had one to three chili peppers so I asked for three but was told the scale was actually one to eight. I like spicy but wasn't sure what "eight" would be so I got a five. Felt like a one, maybe two. Barely any kick. The dish itself was just ok. I did like the beef but thought some of the pieces were too big not to have a knife to cut it (probably could have asked for one, just didn't). The sauce it came in was just ok. I actually preferred the sauce that came with my samosas and asked for more of that which they then proceeded to say would cost an additional $0.75. I just don't get charging for the little bit of sauce they give you. At the end of the night they're probably throwing it away anyway. I tasted my bf's fried rice which was good. I would probably get that if I went back. Also the lunch specials come with soup which was also just ok. The restaurant itself was as expected as far as table space and decor.

This place was excellent, from the food to the staff. We were seated quickly and weren't rushed to order, as can happen in some restaurants. The waitress noticed that my friend was talking, and after a reasonable amount of time, she brought us some water and asked for our drink order as well. We ordered appetizers, which were delicious. We had fried calamari and spring rolls, and then we ordered our entrées, which were just as appetizing as they were plentiful. The food and conversation were so enjoyable that I forgot to take pictures--I apologize! However, I can recommend some dishes that you will thank me for later. We had the honey butter shrimp, which came with a green honey sauce. At first, we were a bit cautious but intrigued. I took a small scoop and was pleasantly surprised. I would rate that sauce a 10/10. We also ordered the Massaman Curry Shrimp. Both dishes were extremely good, and I will definitely be back.

I've ordered from Top Spice so many times on Door Dash, but my friend and I decided to dine in. The food is great! The service was amazing! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu.

    Honey Butter Shrimp without Broccoli

A solid rating of 4 stars...wish they would add a bit more spice to their dishes or at least ask what spice level one wants. We have been here now three times over the past 6 weeks. Still believe that a rating of 4 is deserved. However, the last visit might not have been as good as the other 2. It was a Sunday afternoon so maybe the main chef had the day off. These are the dishes we have tried on our visits: - Martabak - Malaysian pancake stuffed with curry minced beef and onion. Very tasty. Never had anything like this. The curry taste was some of the best. Asked for some type of sauce to dip it in. They returned with a peanut sauce..they might should add it to the menu! - Nurr Nam Tok - Grilled ribeye with spice powder, mint, basil, red onions, lime juice, ground chili and I really believe fish sauce even though not mentioned in description. Asked for no fish sauce. Got it and it was great. - Spicy Basil Ground Chicken, AKA Krakow Gai. Very good, had lots of sauce for the rice. Could have used some heat. - Honey Butter Shrimp served with chopped onion and bell pepper and broccoli. Asked for no broccoli so they added more onion and bell pepper...perfect. It is also served with a Honey Butter sauce, at Food Terminal(sister restaurant) it is served with a Pandan Sauce. Same here. Asked if it was the Pandan Sauce and they didn't know. But they did confirm. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. The Pandan sauce was very good. Nothing left in the bowl - Spicy Basil Leaf with Chicken - gets a rating of 3. Somewhat watered down. Not much last of basil and no spice taste. Chicken was a little chewy. wouldn't order again. Stick with the Spice Basil Ground Chicken. - Nurr Nam Tok -See comments on first visit. Forgot to ask for no fish sauce. When it arrived we tasted and said "Oh, no we forgot to ask for No Fish Sauce....guess they do have it in their ingredients. Just not as good as first time. Portions are very reasonable. Especially for the lunch specials that are daily until 3:00PM. Service is friendly enough. Will definitely go back due to location.

    Pork larb salad

This will be a short review. I came here for lunch with coworkers. I ordered the pork larb salad, and I've had better larb before. This larb was a little on the sweet side. Less salty and just meh overall. Service was quick, plenty of seating but definitely designed for office workers in the area though. It's not bad, but it's meh.

Overall experience wasn't great. Our server was very polite, but our party of 8 was a bit too much for him to handle. The food was very underwhelming. Ordered samosas and egg rolls for appetizers, it was okay. I ordered the beef fried rice for my entree, which was very mushy and the beef was under cooked. Another guest in our party had a thumb tack in her Pad See Ew!!! Which unfortunately she didn't see until finishing most of her food. They responded saying it wasn't from them??? Will not be back.

Top spice was one of my faves in the past, but it seems like they're still holding on by a thread. The inside is small and intimate, the food (I had the beef rendang) and I had a crunch to my food and when I spit it out, it looked like a bug shell. It wasn't nasty taste, but it kinda freaked me out. I understand mistakes happen and the 3 stars is for the strong lychee martini (lychee tasted spoiled) and the fast service.

Chicken Satay! Generous portion great as a shareable appetizer

I hadn't been to Top Spice in nearly 10 years when a friend was in town and wanted to visit. Of course it was a great time as I remembered in the past. I ordered Chicken Satay as an appetizer and beef Rendang. I will say the Chicken Satay is a generous portion and great for a shareable table appetizer! I also ordered a Roti on the side and a Fruit Punch made made from the bar. The entire meal was delicious however the rice was cooked too soft for my liking. I hate when places cook the rice too soft!- Get a rice cooker! Lol In all, this is a solid restaurant! It's quite popular in the area as they have won many awards and have been seen on many Media outlets in the city. It's located off Briarcliff Rd and closes at 1030 pm on Saturday night. There are so many good Thai/Malaysian restaurants in the city that have opened up but Top Spice is definitely an Atlanta favorite.

Note the extra sauce that makes this dish much more flavorful than other Thai locations.

It kind of tasted like an Indian samosa. Pretty solid. The Nasi Udik Komplit was a well balanced meal with carbohydrates, protein, and vegetables. The fried chicken was more tender than I thought it would be, which was a pleasant surprise. I kind of wish it was crispier, but maybe that is not the style for Indonesian cooking. The spicy egg and the perkedel (potato patty) tasted good too. I was not a fan of the coconut rice as I do not like coconut (I got this dish as I wanted to try what was part of it, specifically the perkedel). Overall, I thought the food was alright. With this being my second time having Indonesian food, I think my picky taste buds are still adapting to Indonesian cuisine and spices. It is clear that many people love this place and their food, so take my review with a grain of salt. I would give this spot a 3.5/5 stars if I could.

This time I got the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodles and the Salted Egg Yolk Shrimp Garlic Noodle. I was really excited to try both since they both sounded so good. Ultimately the Grandma's BBQ Pork Noodle was a little underwhelming - the noodles themselves weren't very flavorful, and the BBQ pork was on the drier side. The pork did have decent flavor, and all the toppings/side items (wontons, fried egg, bok choy) were great, but all in all fell a little short of my hopes. The Salted Egg Yolk Garlic Noodles had better flavor, but I could've used even more garlic and butter. The shrimp definitely carried the salted egg yolk flavor, but the fried batter was a bit soggy/soft in my opinion. I wished it was crisper. We all sat at the table, and noticed that we were having to grab our food and our friends at the same table didn't, that was no big deal. Because I get it they tipped and paid for the service, but to be fair no one in our group was gonna tip because we assumed it was self-serve. The awkward part came when none of us knew if we could get just water or anything because it was never offered, so our friends asked for water, and the lady only brought enough for her and 2 other friends on their same bill where they tipped, mind you..we all sat at the same table. When we asked if we could get water, we were basically told to go get our own water at the water station. We were all shocked and frankly everyone was left feeling very awkward and uncomfortable. The food was not bad, but not special or good enough for us emotionally ever go back, We are always very generous with our tip, and when our friend told us they tipped, I was going to put cash when we leave, but the lady who "helped" us made the experience so awkward and unpleasant that we didnt feel it was at all worth us tipping, had she brought water to us, we would have given her the tip, but the whole time she would check on our friends asking them how was the food, we were also customers sitting at the same table...soooo no i will never go back. I came here for a post workout dinner with a friend. We walked across the street from our studio…read morebut we noticed the parking lot is a little small just fyi! Inside is very clean and spacious and we were seated immediately. We didn't end up drinking but the cocktail menu looked very interesting. The menu was very large which was a little overwhelming, but the server was great with giving recommendations. Ultimately, my friend and I decided to get the Rijsttafel (rice table) which was basically a tasting platter of some of their best dishes. I loved the beef redang and the chicken satay as well as the refreshing pickled veggies! I also thought the fish curry was very tangy and unique in flavor. Overall, neat spot I've driven past so many times so very glad I got to check it out!

Parking I was able to park in front of the restaurant,…read morehowever there are only 10 or so spaces, so you have to use the deck. Restaurant The restaurant is small, cozy and romantic for a couple. Decor is simple but nice. Our wain was Chen. Chen was very friendly and knowledgeable. This was our first time there. I ordered the Rijsttafel (rice table). OMG everything was good. My fav might be the shrimp sambal. My spouse ordered the Flying Fish. This fish was fresh, not really seasoned, but a clean, fresh taste. The beef satay had a grilled, smokey taste, which was very flavorful. Overall this meal was a 10 out of 10. The food is very flavorful, not spicy. I will return, want to try the entire menu. Oh the drinks have a punch too.
