    Lunch

The place is very low key. The food is hot and fresh. You can tell it's made to order. It's always chill and quiet when I come by. I got the shrimp with lobster sauce and my boyfriend got the general tso's chicken.

So this actually surprised me. I wasn't expecting much, but this is one of the closest NY style Chinese food I've had in a while! There's not 'too' much to say honestly. It's a small spot, prices are cheap, there's nothing fancy about it but the food is pretty decent for takeout. The portions are pretty huge, and tasty. I got the sesame chicken which was great and some crab ragoon which worked. All in all, if you're craving some Chinese and are in the area, it's not a bad spot at all.

I've had the house fried rice twice. Theee best fried rice I've had in Atlanta. It has veggies, egg, onion, beef, chicken & shrimp! It's hella flavorful & the small is HUGE! I can eat it for two days (if i don't get wasted & come home looking for a lil night cap )

The food is good for the price. The lunch specials are between $5 and $6 and the dinner prices are between $6 and $8. The service is fair. The owner can look a little mean, but it could be that he is watching the surroundings and trying to get all the orders in and out. They have a lot of people trying to purchase lunch specials to go and to stay in and eat. It's a little warm in the dining area. There is about 4 tables in the waiting area. Dine out is ideal. But it served it's purpose for lunch for my dad, my son, and I. We enjoyed the shrimp egg foo young and rice. My spring roll was dry and bland. Overall i would consider it for a cheap lunch. It was okay. I liked that the restroom was clean and stocked and the health score was a 92.

Great quick take-out! Food is always as ordered even considering my call-ins often include multiple "none of this" and a few "can you add that". Their crab ragoon is really good too!

Like the lemon pepper wings. Fries are good too. Veggie soup is always an alternative and the sweet tea is pretty good.

To sum this spot up in one word: REAL…read more It's SO Atlanta, it's SO for the culture, and it's SO tasty. The first time I went (and each time after that) there's been a line, but they're efficient and it moves very fast, so don't let that scare you off. Once you enter, the walls are decorated with everything from album art to Freaknik pics, murals, and even mugshots of some of your favorite rappers. I always pass my time in line by looking at them all. There's even a nostalgic old living room setting with plastic on the couch and other Black household nostalgia pieces that just make you feel a way. Now about the food. I have a thing for the crack wings (tangy crack wings to be specific). I don't know who thought of that recipe, but it works and it's a must-try. Really, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Much respect to the staff, and obviously I'll be back again soon.

Where do I even begin? Let's start with the positives. First off, no need to visit The Trap House…read moreMuseum, the decor here gives you that experience for free. I'll give credit where it's due: the nostalgic touches were on point and definitely felt familiar. They've got specials for the "brokies," but where they cut costs, they also cut quality. On the service side, the gentleman taking my order was pleasant and patient, which I appreciated. Now the food; fries were hot, well-seasoned, and exactly how I like them. I'm big on temperature; I'd rather blow on my food than deal with anything lukewarm or cold, so they got that part right. The Lemon Peppa Steppa (lemon pepper with their "white crack" powder that honestly tastes like powdered sugar) was surprisingly good; an interesting clash of flavors that worked. That said, the upcharges are a bit wild. Charging $1.99 extra for the "Bad B*tch" flavor feels steep, and while the honey hot also costs more, it doesn't come close to a local competitor that delivers better flavor without the upcharge. Now for the downside, the wait time didn't match what came out. Hot fries, but cold, tiny, "Magic City"-sized wings? That's a miss. This experience was also a reminder not to believe everything you see on social media; sometimes you just have to try it for yourself. Would I come back? No. But I can say I had the experience.

Well dang my second visit was probably my last but due to the crowd in here at 7pm on a Friday nite…read moreI'm sure they won't miss me. I called in from the highway. Someone promptly answered took my order and gave me great phone customer service. I walk in and tell the young lady at the register I called in my order, she looks in the register and says we don't have in call in orders. She then says oh I've had someone on hold over 30 mins so you must've placed your order at another location. I giggled and said wow you left someone on hold 30 mins and they're still holding. She then picks up the phone , hangs up on the person on hold and the phone starts ringing as soon as she put it back on the cradle. Another young lady answers the ringing phone and she tells her hang up we don't have time to take phone orders. So I asked why don't you have time, she says because I'm the only one working a register and the other young lady is new. I mumbled something under my breath and she says you don't have to be rude. If I hadn't been craving this house fried rice for two days I would have turned around and walked out. Instead I told her she had just hung up on someone she admittedly had on hold 30 mins and was standing in front of me telling me how she didn't have time to take phone orders and maybe the rudeness she felt was self generated. No apology or remorse was offered. What I got was what flavor wings you want lol I placed my order and thankfully there was ice in the soda machine. The house fried rice and wings were just as good as they were a couple days ago but because I'm practicing being humble and quiet this definitely not the business for me to frequently visit

Gas station wings did not have to go this harddd!…read more I visited this food stall located inside of a gas station and the food I had here was really good! My friend and I split the 5 Borough Trapper Combo for $19.99 which comes with chopped cheese, 6 piece wings of your choice, and fries. The chopped cheese was pretty good. It was meaty and cheesy. I also liked the bun which was buttery. For the wings, we got the wet lemon pepper wings and those were so so good. I'm not usually a wings person, but these were delicious. I loved the buttery, peppery, and tangy flavor of the wings which were nicely fried and crispy. The meat was moist and succulent. Just wow. The fries were also good and standard and I liked dipping them in the ranch (you get a choice of ranch or blue cheese for your wings). I also loved the service. The girl helping me with my order was super friendly and engaging. Would highly recommend this spot and next time I'm in Atlanta, you best know I'm coming back for the lemon pepper wings!

Let's be clear that means the smallest wings allowed to be sold Grade D" wings The wings they give away at 12 cents a portion = wing and Trap Wing is selling at $2.00 per wing The memphis seasoning was all seasoning and Yhe very cheap brand had so much NSG sodium - salt I gagged off tge first bite and spat it back out They were fries so hard I couldn't tell the meet from the bone .
