So this actually surprised me. I wasn't expecting much, but this is one of the closest NY style Chinese food I've had in a while! There's not 'too' much to say honestly. It's a small spot, prices are cheap, there's nothing fancy about it but the food is pretty decent for takeout. The portions are pretty huge, and tasty. I got the sesame chicken which was great and some crab ragoon which worked. All in all, if you're craving some Chinese and are in the area, it's not a bad spot at all. read more

So I finally decided to try this place a few months ago...and it was good and bad. It's located on Cascade Rd so there's nothing fancy about it. The guy who works the counter is nice. I ordered the general tso combination plate w/fried rice & egg roll. Maybe you have to say vegetable fried rice instead of fried rice in order to get the veggies in the fried rice...not sure. But I did not get the appropriate fried rice. If the review was based solely on the rice issue...then it would have been a 3 Star rating. However, my general tso chicken was cooked & flavored with real vegetables! It was very refreshing because not too many places make it like that anymore! The food is good for the price. The lunch specials are between $5 and $6 and the dinner prices are between $6 and $8. The service is fair. The owner can look a little mean, but it could be that he is watching the surroundings and trying to get all the orders in and out. They have a lot of people trying to purchase lunch specials to go and to stay in and eat. It's a little warm in the dining area. There is about 4 tables in the waiting area. Dine out is ideal. But it served it's purpose for lunch for my dad, my son, and I. We enjoyed the shrimp egg foo young and rice. My spring roll was dry and bland. Overall i would consider it for a cheap lunch. Best fried rice in Atlanta. Chicken egg rolls at hans are good and the braise sauce is really good. Quick service and will fix any problem you have if you have one with your order. They just got a Philly cheese steak egg roll I'm going back to try that next. read more

Its a great pick for a stop and go. I love how close it is to my house on Westmont. It is great for me and my roommates if we are ever craving a quick solution Chinese dinner. The portions are great and take me two or three days to fully consume. The employees arent that pleasant but, I'm in there so quick it doesn't even matter. This place actually has fried rice! Now granted there are no bean sprouts or bamboo chutes, but if you ask them to hold the peas and carrots they will! The food was freshly made to order and the wings were fresh small but the right size for me! They were actually buffalo wing sized! I give this place 5 easily. I love their food I always get a small vegetable Lo mein and sweet and sour chicken. It's very affordable like 6/7 a meal and the portions a very generous and they're always very quick, no more than 15 minutes. The chicken is amazeballllsssss crisp, white, not mystery but definitely some good Chinese!!!! Please don't hesitate to try it. The wings are on the small side but they're not expensive. Chinese food is good if I make it spicy. I usually get chicken and broccoli with fried rice spicy. Gooood. The garlic chicken is also very good too. The egg rolls are soooo good. And the lemonade lol I heard a guy with his group of friends ask if the lemonade refills were free and they werent. Han's is a pretty decent Chinese restaurant. Nice family that has been in the neighborhood for years. I love their Mongolian Chicken (with extra vegetables) and their tofu in garlic sauce. I have been patronizing Han's since the opening of this location. From the beginning, my sisters and many friends of ours have ordered the fried rice with special instructions, which they followed and the rice got better over time. This is not the best Chinese food, but it is convenient. We are originally from St. Louis, MO and the rice there is really Cantonese. A couple of weeks ago I ordered my standing order, (they have notes in their computer). When I got home and unpacked the food, the rice was gummy and not cooked as I ordered it. There have been a few times in the past the rice has not been good, the wings and egg rolls have been overcooked, but we are loyal customers and did not call or take it back. This time, I called back to let them know and said I was not in a position to come back that day, so we agreed that the rice would be free on a future order. When I called today, the guy who generally cooks the food said he only agreed to replace one order of rice. Then he argued with me and raised his voice. Now, I am not sensitive at all. However, what I do take exception to is you arguing with me about and $8 box of rice after I have supported your establishment for several years. I told him I would not argue, I would simply take my business elsewhere. I have ordered from this establishment in large quantities to take to parties and other gatherings. Never, ever again. Ok so I stopped by for salt & pepper shrimp, which is good. When I arrived Lulu, was the cashier she's very rude didn't want to say hello...she's young so I guess she just hasn't been taught how to be pleasant. I've been ordering food from Han's Express for many years, it was really good and tasty for a long time. Now, every time I order..it's not only wrong and inconsistent with the listed menu item, they try to make it sound as if the customer is an idiot. For example: I just ordered sizzling rice soup. When i opened the soup, I find there is no rice, and then when I call them to find out why there is no rice in it...they claim that sizzling rice soup does not have rice as an ingredient. I've ordered this same menu item so many times over the years and now they are going to claim this? right. They didn't even offer to correct the mistake. what a joke. And that's not even the first time something similar has happened:. once I ordered cashew chicken, only to find out that apparently there are no cashews in the dish. riiight. Buyer beware! check your order before you pay. There's a good chance that your sweet and sour chicken won't actually come with chicken. read more
