Visiting from out of town and trying to find a solid spot to kill your hunger can be overwhelming - you really wanna get it right. Pelicana absolutely delivered on that front. This place served up some seriously tasty Korean fried chicken in a tucked-away corner spot with sleek black walls, a cool industrial vibe, intimate lighting, and a spotless feel. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming too. They stay open late (perfect after a late night out), and the chicken is legit - crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. I went with the Crispy Sweet & Spicy and the Honey Glazed Soy. The sweet and spicy had a nice kick that was manageable thanks to the sweetness balancing it out - great flavor overall. The honey soy was tasty too, though I wished the sauce was more reduced allowing it to cling better to the chicken getting that extra crispy glossy finish. Service was prompt at this late hour and served as an excellent spot to wrap up a late night with friends. The only minor catch for late night service is the automatic 20% gratuity no matter the party size - something to be mindful of when budgeting. Solid Korean fried chicken in a cool atmosphere with great energy. Definitely worth the visit - deserves 4 stars!

I DoorDashed from this location and the food arrived timely and in great condition. The chicken quality was top notch as always and the tteokboki was a great level of spice for me. My only complaint was that the radish had a slight aftertaste that I was not fond of. Great fried chicken!

Pelicana is something I've always wanted to try, and I'm excited ATL has a halal location! Right next to Masjid Al-Farooq, there is a small parking lot in the front and additional parking in the back. I appreciate the menu being explicit on what's halal and what's not. We had the chicken sandwich, the garlic wings, the half chicken with sweet/spicy level 2 and the Cajun fries. We also got sodas on the house for a review. The food was decent. The chicken was juicy and hot when it came out. The breading on the chicken was crispy but a little thick, and could have used more seasoning. I wasn't a fan of the garlic sauce (just straight garlic) or the sweet/spicy (cinnamon fwd??). The radishes though were awesome, great to cut through the fattiness of the meal. The service was great! Our server Feby was excellent, super friendly and helpful, and checked in with us for what we needed. As a suggestion - the restaurant should be split into two sections (drinking and not drinking) to help with the ambience. For example the party behind us, which kept swearing and ruined our family meal. It would help bring crowds in that otherwise may not choose to due to the restaurants interior.

I really enjoyed the chicken at Pelicans! The wings were cooked perfectly to me!! Honestlyyyy that extra crispy texture... yum. The sweet & spicy flavor was my favorite of the two. The honey soy was good too, just a bit sweeter than I usually go for, but if you love sweet wings, that one might be a hit for you. Overall, I'd definitely come back. The price felt a little high at $21 for 10 wings, but the quality was really solid. The spot itself is cute inside, the staff was super hospitable. We walked in with a to-go order on a Sunday night around 11 pm, the wait was about ~25 minutes. Sidenote: I love that they're open until 3am.. a win for late-night cravings!

We came after 10pm and they have a gratuity notice so keep that in mind. I came around 11pm and there were plenty of seating but once it was around midnight it started to get full. The servers were attentive at times and friendly but they have this QR code system where you can call for your server through your phone but there was no point in using that because their system was slow/delayed so they didn't get the requests in time. Better to uber here because parking is very limited in the back and small spaced. We got the spicy rice cakes and they were perfect portion and spice for $16. We also got some drinks. Soju is $15 a bottle. Overall the vibes were nice for a late night eat.

Great spot! Very cool concept and environment. Menu has a ton of great options but I opted for the soy garlic wings. Super crispy with a great flavor. They were a litttle on the smaller side so they gave me 12 instead of 10 which shows they want you to be satisfied with your experience. A friend had the chicken sandwich which looked great. They even branded their logo on the bun which is another special touch. Wings came with pickled daikon, corn-coleslaw, and salad. (All in a small sauce cup but still very nice) Service was great until the very end it took about 15 mins to get a box and the check. Only reason for 4 stars but would recommend this place. PS: Parking is not the best up front but they do have a lot behind the building.

So we came here after going to big Dave's Philly cheese steak and Publix. We walked in and was sat right away. The area didn't seem to be the nicest. The restaurant was empty so that's ok. It was a Sunday night and late. Met our waiter. Very nice gentlemen. We ordered the combo B with 10 wings honey garlic 10 wings sweet and spicy level 1. It came with pickled radish, fries, cheese ball, coleslaw or something a salad and a bun. Food came. The radish was sweet and good. The salad was good nothing special. The fries were surprisingly good. The bun I tasted was good. The wings were good. Smaller than I thought. The sauces were good. The white sauce with honey garlic was good. 1 dollar up charge. Idk if I'd pay for that again. The spicy mayo was actually better. We were very full with 8 wings left over. I'd come back.

We came here on a sunday late at night around 12:30am and wow it was very busy still. We had to wait a bit for a table of 5. The server put three tables together and said we can sit there, but then another server took a table away and put the 5th chair at the end of our 2nd table. I told them it would be too crammed for us 5 with two big guys with us and asked to have our table back and he said okay and did it. Then a 3rd worker came over and said no and took it away again. Said the need the tables to other guests that are coming. I felt like they were not communicating to each other and we felt a bit crammed. Also A LOT of the flavors were sold out. We were trying to order and they kept saying "choose another one, that one is sold out" that happened 4 times. So we could not even eat the flavors we wanted. We were choosing back ups of our back ups basically. So that was kind of a bummer. I understand we came late at 12:00am. but you are open till 3am. The two flavors we ended up getting were sweet and spicy and bbq. The sweet and spicy was better. They were good though and I like how the chicken was meaty so it was filling for sure. Fries were yummy as well. Also we were out of water and it was difficult flagging someone down to refill our water. I think they needed to hire more staff.

When we stopped into Pelicana Chicken in Midtown, we found far more than we expected. The space itself felt welcoming, soft lighting, Korean videos looping on the screens, music at just the right volume, and a calm that made it easy to stay and enjoy. The menu was larger than we anticipated, but Rita, our server, guided us through with warmth and confidence. We started with the Ham Kimchi Fried Rice (layers of flavor from the tang of kimchi, the smoky bite of ham, and the richness of a sunnyside-up egg crowning it, with a crisp little house salad on the side). The Chicken Fried Rice we enjoyed as well (tossed with vegetables, bits of grilled chicken, and scrambled egg) simple but very satisfying. For dessert - and yes, we went there after deliberation, the Cheese Ball Mochi (hot, golden shell giving way to molten cheese that stretched with every pull) was decadent. Rita made the entire evening great. Attentive without hovering. Gracious with her suggestions. And genuinely happy to see us enjoying ourselves. Rita was the reason the meal felt not just good, but memorable. Thank you, Rita!!

4.5 The batter for the crispy chicken was very crispy and the meat was super juicy and tender. Got half sweet and spicy + half garlic wings. Size wise they were a bit small, but tenderness made up for that. I've had better flavored KFC but the crispy to juicy ratio was very good today. Mild spice wasn't very spicy at all , would get level 2 next time. Good service, ambiance was a vibe but little too loud for me. Pricy for size

Great music from the moment we entered! Service was quick and speedy. Food came out in timely manner. Food quality was okay. We got the honey garlic and the sweet and spicy. Solid choices.

Service was fantastic! Everything we got was fresh and great. The wings were super hot and crispy. Parking lowkey is horrible but the food was great even late at night.

What a great experience sitting at the bar for dinner…read more I was quickly greeted and got my drink order taken care of. I ordered a two piece white with slaw and greens. Awesome flavor! The staff let me sample the potato salad which was amazing. Was told the story about the lady that makes the pies and had a slice of pecan. Very good. I recommend you give them a try, because I will be back on my next visit to downtown. Enjoy!

The chicken was alright, but I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, let alone consider it the world's best. This joint is located in the lower hub, but I believe there's also an outside street entrance. Upon entering, we were told to sit anywhere. The interior is rather dim, and it wasn't super clean as there were still some crumbs on our table from the last people who dined there. There is also a very casual feel to the place, exemplified by the fact that food is served on styrofoam plates and paper trays. FOOD: 2-Piece Dark (Thigh & Leg) (4/5) - Chicken was nice and crispy, but nothing crazy special to me. I was expecting it to be spicier. Liked it more with the Louisiana hot sauce on the table. The chicken rests on a slab of white bread and is served with average slaw and sweet baked beans. Fried Okra (3.5/5) - First time having fried okra. Not bad, and I guess frying it eliminates the slimy texture associated with okra. SERVICE: I am not usually one to complain about service. The person who served us was sweet when we did interact, but it was so hard to get their attention to order and get the bill. But beyond that, the kitchen was noticeably SLOW. My brother and I literally only ordered one plate/portion to share since we wanted to try more places, but it took over half an hour to receive our food. They do emphasize that food is cooked to order, but I still found the wait to be baffling. TLDR// Come here or don't, but if you do, make sure you are not on a time crunch. Maybe I am just being harsh because I was expecting more from a place claiming to have the world's best.

It wasn't busy at all on a Wednesday night. Signs indicate that you should seat yourself wherever available and to head to the counter to make your order. I ordered takeout, so I can't speak about the dine-in experience here. FOOD: We ordered a double order of the wings and asked for their two most popular flavors, which were the lemony pepper wet wings and some other flavor (couldn't hear the worker clearly, but just went with it). The order came with fries and a choice between ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce. Maybe I am not used to the flavor profile here, but I found the wings to be excessively salty (and I have a preference for salty food). My tongue is still tingling as I write this review. Also, the lemony pepper wings tasted like they were coated in pure citric acid. The other flavor was drowning in sauce. The wings themselves were so dry that it felt like I was eating chicken jerky. SERVICE: Food came out within ten minutes of us ordering. No frills place, so expect no frills service. No complaints. They have a bag-it-yourself policy. TLDR// This might be the first place to actually convince me that overseasoning is actually a thing. Excessively salty, dry chicken wings that my tongue is still paying the price for. Would not come back, and I would try a different spot for lemony pepper wet wings.

FOOD: We got wings in the flavors of lemon pepper (dry rub), sun-dried tomato (dry rub), buffalo lemon pepper (wet), and jerk buffalo (wet). I will say that I definitely preferred the wet wings to the dry wings. I found the dry wings to be a little too salty. In my opinion, the wings and the cook on them were just okay. I wasn't blown away or anything. Maybe the relatively cheap beer and the vibes help draw in all the appeal. Magic city is not busy at all on Fridays, I heard Mondays are the day to go. You can order wings without going inside the club, but we went inside to hang out for a bit. It was $20 cash before 9 pm for cover fee. Magic City is really small, it is one of the smallest strip clubs I have been to, unless there are hidden rooms somewhere there really aren't any private areas in the club. There is one large main stage, and a few tables scattered throughout. Theres a small "private room" but the windows are all clear so its not really private. They played mostly hip hop music. We ordered a hookah and two types of wings, tbh I prob had too much henny at this point and dont really remember how the wings tasted but I had lots of fun.
