My cousin has been raving about Hans for a while and we finally decided to go today and I must say I hate I waited so long. We ordered 2 (20 pieces), fries and combination rice. Now let's get into it. The customer service outstanding. The place was clean. Only suggestion is maybe they should add a small table in the lobby so customers can check their food. The Food: COOKED TO ORDER, ITS HOT, FRESH, and DELICIOUS!!! 10 honey lemon pepper, 10 mild, 10 braised lemon pepper, 10 hot lemon pepper, 2 orders of fries, and the Combination rice. And every single time you drive by or decide to get something to eat, you fine a line or the young ladies at the registers are tied up with call in orders. But! food also hot!. The people who work there try to be somewhat decent when it come to being cordial with taking your orders. And if you notice they won't look you in your face while taking your order. Hans is a little hole in the wall not your average type of wings spot. The outside looks will make you rethink twice if you want to eat there or not. This place is logged into my phone as "Church Wings". Normally, I only go to this place after Wednesday night service but today I needed a tire patched and since I was just down the street, I decided to stop in and get some "church wings" This place is carry out only and its small waiting area is always packed. Funny, cause these have to be the smallest wings in Atlanta, but what they lack in size, they fully make up for in flavor. Cash only operation. No DEBIT CARDS or CREDIT CARDS allowed. The staffs only English seems to be in the form of calling out your order number and telling you you total. I've only tried the brasied wings with either the chicken fried rice or the shrimp fried rice in all my vists here, but I will repeat that business is very good and I hear people order almost everything on the menu. They only give you soy sauce and ranch or blue cheese with your order. Of course you get the fortune cookie...but they also have duck sauce and spicy mustard available if you ask. Sodas are $2 for a bottle soda and its probably the 12 or 16 oz size. No Frills....jus good food! YES YES AND YES to visiting again. read more

People swear by this place and that's great. Their fried rice is probably the closest you'll get to something up north. my first experience here was not as bad but when you're pregnant and your general tso's chicken is NOT chicken that can be terrible! Was chewing the "chicken" when I came across something hard. Pulled the meat away from it to find a bone that was not a chicken bone. The bone was very small like it came from a rodent. Thank god I was able to throw everything back up. If you get anything that's considered meat here it's better to err on the side of caution and get wings that actually look like chicken. Even though Hans has the SMALLEST wings on this side of the Mississippi, they are the BEST 'baby' wings you'll eat. The scenery of this location is not great. It's in Bankhead located on the corner between a gas station and a grocery store. Once you're inside you'll be greeted by bulletproof plastic and someone that is ready to take your order. They do not have table and chairs so don't bring a date unless you to plan to eat at home or in the car. It's standing room only and it's not a big space. I normally get the 10 piece fried wings with chicken fried rice. It's less than $10 and they give you plenty of rice. This time I ordered the braised wings and they were so damn delish!! The chicken is fried and covered in a sweet almost teriyaki sauce... I don't know what kind of sauce they use but it's just delicious I could literally drink the stuff. They give you a huge serving of rice and it has a plethora of chicken in it. The rice is really really good. Braised Wings! Fast service and affordable, this place is good for a quick stop. Best to go during the day than night, lots of characters hanging around the building but if you are in a mood to converse then that's that. Yes, service is quick but not always the friendliest, just quick and to the point. The place is small but clean, there are a few seats for you to sit at and wait on your order. Depending on your order, the wait is never longer than 10-15 minutes. This is not a sit down and eat kind of place, more of order and go or order and pick up. They greet you time you come in behind a thick plexiglass wall. I couldn't decide what to order. Mongolian Beef or just wings and shrimp fried rice. I opted for 6 braised wings and shrimp fried rice. I also got order of Crab Rangoon. I sat and waited in one of the 6 or 7 chairs along the wall. There is no place to dine in, order your food and go. I waited as people came in that had called there order in. My food came out about maybe 10 minutes if that. Wings were a little small but good.The tasty sweet braised sauce was good but i expected a little more Spice to the sauce. Shrimp fried rice was filled with plump fresh deveined shrimp, all the veggies you not normally find in fried rice. I asked for extra braised sauce on the side to go over my rice. Yum. The crab Rangoon was hot and fresh.but they gave me no dipping sauce. But they were fried perfectly so I really didn't miss the sauce. I'll be back if i have cash.
