They have a few tables for you to sit and wait or sit down to eat. Food: BABY!!! Wings are perfect size! I hate too small and too big but these are PREFECT! Did something change? I frequent this location a lot since I live almost next-door to it, but in the past couple months that's been a huge change. Customer service has declined significantly, it's basically nonexistent. The food quality is not the same. And they took away a lot of the Chinese options on the website. Small restaurant located in a shopping plaza next to Publix. I just moved to this area in search of some really good Chinese food and after many attempts I came across this one. The name threw me off because it seems more focused on American food than actual Chinese food. Alot of wings, fried fish, Philly cheesesteak sandwiches etc... they were the only Chinese restaurant opened until 11pm. All others closed at 9pm because of the pandemic. We had the sesame chicken and veggie fried rice. The sesame chicken was pretty good. I was skeptical at first because I normally have with a darker sauce. This looked almost like sweet and sour sauce. The veggie fried rice was great! We also had the egg drop soup and the shrimp with veggies in brown sauce. It was pretty tasty. The only down side was that the wontons were stale. I will be back to try something else. read more

Hubby wanted to try the wings, he got extra hot and I got lemon pepper. I will be honest they were just ok. My lemon pepper wings were toooo dry, even if they weren't ordered wet they shouldn't be this dry. It was almost like they were old and sitting out for a while. The BEST tofu I've found. I do request it cut small and extra crispy. Most of the time they deliver perfection. The vegetables are always fresh and tasty. I always get steamed rice which is great. I recently ordered shrimp fried rice for a friend, and it was awful! I don't care for the yellow Uncle Bens style rice. It was hard and flavorless. read more

I have been ordering food from this place since they open and never had an issue with the food that would warrant a refund but today was a different story. I'm guessing the place was taking over by someone else or not could be the same family but different people running the place and I have to say, it should have stayed the same. Although the spot has been remodeled and it looks nice inside but the people in there are racist and don't really care about customer service. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli with egg fried rice, when I picked up y order I checked it to make sure it was what I ordered because at times they tend to make mistakes and to my surprise, the shrimp and broccoli smelled different and I asked why it smelled like that and was told that they added a different ingredient to the sauce but to me the shrimp smelled bad. The manger assured me that they just had it and it was fresh so I took him at his word and took the food home. When I opened my rice it was not egg fried rice but regular fried rice which should not have be a problem but I was charged a dollar extra for egg fried rice and the receipt said egg fried rice. I called them to tell them I was charged for one egg fried rice but got regular and the girl that took the order proceeded to tell me that it was egg fried rice like o don't know the difference in something that I order all the time. She put the manager on the phone and he tried to convince me that I won't see the egg but it was mixed in the rice, again I told him that is mot my first time ordering this rice. While on the phone I tasted the shrimp and instantly I noticed that it rated bad and I told him so and he said bring it back and he will refund me. I went there and told him that I told him the shrimp had a smell to it and he said well I jus ate it and I assure you it's fine. He had an attitude and come ti find out that he told the girl one time when my cousin went to pick up some food and was paying with cash, the girl gave her the phone and told her how much and that manager said to her " when these people come to pick up food, get the money first then give them to air food" needless to say, I'm African American. I told him that he just lost a loyal customer and all he could say was fine and went about his business. He handed me a receipt that had a $0 balance and I asked him what that was and he said you should get your refund in 72 hours and nothing else was said, no app for the mistake, not let me make you something else, nothing just "that's fine, we have other customers". I will never again give my money to that establishment whose manager who does not know the golden rule that a customer is always right and not to mention a racist at that. read more

Gone down hill. I started going years ago and it was excellent but for the past three years the quality has gone down. Food is very inconsistent. The rice is super nasty, steamed 2 day old mush mash, and the sauces leave something to be desired. The service is great but The upscale remodel didn't improve the food and that's sad. I'm not sure what's going on if it's new manager, new chefs, or cheaper quality food but this is not it. Go somewhere else for Chinese cuisine. I will avoid coming here. read more

Naassttyy...... OK so a friend of mine referred me to this restaurant. The first time I came in I ordered orange chicken with shrimp fried rice. First of all the shrimp fried rice was so old and hard when I bit into it my teeth they almost fell out!! The orange chicken was mostly bread which was very disappointing. I mean, it tasted like Costco food that you purchase from the freezer aisle. I'm just saying.. So dummy me, decides to give this place a second chance so I ordered wings and chicken fried rice. The wings were decent but my only issue was I order garlic and pepper I tasted no garlic or pepper, WTF. The wings tasted like oil it was fried in. I swear I dipped a wing in blue cheese dressing hoping it would taste better since I had paid for it but (nope). I like flavor on my wings I mean that's just who I am so that was like a straight disappointment. To top it off the chicken fried rice let's just say it tasted like crap. By the time I realized the mistake, I called and let the man know that I didn't meant to order the food. As a regular customer I'm not happy that you no longer have pork on your menu. I don't eat pork that often, but one of my favorite items is pork fried rice. I was told that the reason it was no longer offered because your pork wasn't slow roasted as some customers were inquiring about . Who goes to any Chinese restaurant looking for slow roasted pork in the first place. Ugh, Georgians get on my nerves sometimes, I never heard of such foolishness living in Chicago. I will now be coming less often as you've cut out one of my favorite things as there were also other pork items I would order from time to time. Bad move to cut out a whole customer segment. Best kept secret in douglasville. This place looks like a frickin hole in the wall spot in Publics. First time I went, I was really suspect. But their Chinese food is seriously good and very reasonable in pricing. I have four kids so that matters. It's all real good. Haven't had a bad thing yet. Great Chinese takeout was hot and fresh once I got there. I ordered the Kung Pao combo with fried rice and egg rolls. It was not as spicy as I would have liked, but the portion size is enough for 2 people or for lunch and dinner. I will be visiting them again and trying something new! read more
