Probably the tastiest and most reliable quick Chinese spot in this area. I lived here for several months and tried all of the nearby places, and Kong Long is the one that earned my loyalty. The wings are great, large juicy pieces, well cooked. All the rice dishes and noodle dishes have been great. You don't come into a spot like this and expect it to look like a sit down restaurant in terms of cleanliness or ambiance. They don't expect you to eat in the restaurant, and you shouldn't eat in the restaurant. The house is basically a waiting room. If this is an issue for you as a diner, Panda Express is probably more your speed. But this place has better food, and the staff care more about what they are doing. The best of its kind in the Villa Rica area. read more

While most of our food was delicious, the fried rice is the worst. It's just white rice with a little soy sauce and it was tasteless.I would have been better off make rice a roni. read more

Only place open on Christmas in the area! Thank you!!! The food is exactly what you expect. Good Chinese American takeout. The vibes were nice. It was quiet and the lady at the counter was very nice. We uploaded an updated version of the menu read more

Had the house special egg foo young and hot and sour soup. Wife had the veggie egg foo young. Pretty decent take out.

i've been coming here since i was a young child (i'm almost 21 now) and i've never had a disappointing experience. the owner has always been so sweet and their prices are so reasonable for large amounts of food, which is very rare to find nowadays. you can get a hot, fresh, large meal from here (and probably have leftovers for later) for the same price of a disappointing mcdonald's meal. the containers are always packed full and the food is made to order. we just got home with our to go order and after picking it up and the 15 minute drive home, it was still piping hot when we opened it. the meat was steaming, egg rolls were crispy and hot, everything was perfect. the workers are always friendly, food is always hot, tasty and fresh, and the prices are great. you really can't beat it. growing up, this was one of the only couple of places that my parents could afford to get dinner for the family when we wanted takeout, and we'd all always end our dinner satisfied and with leftovers! they've stayed true to their great pricing all these years. i recommend kong long to all of my friends when the topic of good chinese food places comes up. even when i lived in carrollton, i chose to make the 25-30 minute drive to get my chinese food here because i could count on the quality being consistent. it is rare that you see a small family owned business last this long, and i really think that can be credited to their consistency with providing great quality and quantities of food with friendly service read more

We Would definitely recommend. It's a quick in and out place if you order ahead and the woman at the counter is always friendly to friendly faces-so be friendly. Food is made to order, so you are going to have to wait a bit if you walk up to order. My family has been going here at least every couple of months for many years. We've tried many things on the menu and have never once had a bad meal. Huge portions. Family favorites are the Lo Mein, General Tso's, Cashew Chicken, and dumplings. My favorite is the beef and broccoli. The broccoli is cooked perfectly with just a slight crunch and the beef has little to no fat. read more

Customer service is none existent. She has no manners and is completely incapable of properly speaking to people. When I saw traps in the back after getting my nails done I have yet to step back in the restaurant. DO NOT EAT HERE.!!!!!!! read more

Horrible service the shrimp fried rice they consider fried rice with four pieces of shrimp sitting on top that's not real shrimp fried rice Chinese people do not make shrimp fried rice like that that's a bogus restaurant. Restaurant is very dirty and so were the employees she was eating with her fingers wiped her hands on her clothes and touch my phone during Covid nasty simply nasty read more

There food is always tasty and the service is always speedy. I definitely recommend to anyone. And try there sweet tea!!!

I got a shrimp lo mein and a regular lo mein and it was really good! The service there is really good but they have a lot of orders so you have to wait just a little bit. But overall I'm going there again. read more

Horrible experience! I tried to order the lunch moo goo gai pan. She kept saying something about fried rice. I never really understood her, but I emphasized that I wanted fried rice and an egg roll with it. The amount charged seemed to be too much for what I ordered. I got the menu and showed her that the fried rice and egg roll came with the order. She said the menu was wrong. (Something) fried rice was separate order. I finally realized that she was saying shrimp fried rice. Told her I wanted plain fried rice. I thought everything was good from that point. I got my order and it felt really light. There was no moo goo gai pan! I asked her where my moo goo gai pan was. She said that, "You no pay for moo goo gai pan." I told her she could keep the food at that point. I will say that they did give me a refund. I won't be going back again! read more

The food was good. I got the General Tso's chicken. There was a little too much sauce, but other than that it was good. Customer service was also good. The egg roll is mostly cabbage, is not all cabbage. I'm not complaining, but some people might not like it. All in all, great food and service. read more

So I tried to order for me and my wife and the lady that pick up the phone first I can't understand but is fine I'm patient because my English is not 100% perfect... so I'm trying to order and the lady gets frustrated and hangs up the phone... call again and she is all rude yelling then hangs up the phone again... worst costumer service EVER read more

Love the food and prices. I Recommend this place. Quick, easy takeout. Everything we've had is tasty and portions are really big.

What's with the chicken? Chicken fried rice does not contain chicken! Don't know what they are using but I'm convinced it is NOT chicken, texture, taste and the odd appearance of extremely white color tells the story. Rude, Rude, Rude staff and while being rude to their customers they forget Your order. Well forget to put it in the bag but not forget to charge for it. Called back to inform of missing items and rude lady hung up on me without acknowledging her mistake nor offering to refund my money or to replace the missing items. That is what you call Stealing! Do yourself a favor and make a trip to Carrollton and visit "LEE'S KITCHEN" on hwy 27 Not only affordable and unbelievably tasty food Cooked right there? But the staff is as friendly as you could possibly ask for! Tell Ann I said HI! You won't be disappointed! read more

Pretty good Chinese food, fair prices, and has been consistent so far. Their dining area could use a significant spruce up however.

This is really good Chinese food. The food is awesome, the service is really fast, and the portions are HUGE. I shared a meal with my son and still had leftovers. read more

I love this place. Maybe I just order the good things based on the reviews. Their egg rolls are my favorite and the food is always nice and fresh and hot. The portion sizes are good too. Always leftover. read more

I tried to place an order over the phone and the person who answer the phone was very rude.

This is just another typical Chinese restaurant. However, the food is served hot and is affordable. A great place to come to if you're in a hurry for either lunch or dinner. The decor is outdated and is in serious need of upgrading. read more

This was my first and last time going to this place. Very poor customer service and very rude. I ordered egg drop soup and asked what was the wait time. I was told 10 minutes. I waited about 20 minutes. At that point, I asked did the soup have to be made. I was told very rudely, "Wait your turn." So when the lady did get to my order, she simply dipped the soup out of a soup warmer, placed it in the take out container, and said your order is ready. I stood there thinking, "You made me wait 20 minutes, when you could have just dipped the soup from the container and given it to me!!" And to top that, the soup had no flavor!! Hence, my reason for never ever going back! read more

This absolutely he worse customer service I've ever had. It's almost like the owner does not want new Business, or is irritated by having to actually "do her job" I've been 3 times now because the food is actually decent for this area, and she's the same every time. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. From one small business owner to the next, I really hope you realize that customer service means everything to hard working Americans, and there are WAY to many places to eat, instead of having to put up with your horrible attitude. read more

There food is really delicious! With that being said there customer service is horrible! One lady who answers the phone is very rude and nasty to loyal paying customers. She has hung up on me twice on 2 different occasions just because I was taking to long to order, another occasion she yelled at my step mother for calling back for a total! I don't trust anyone's food who could treat the customers this way! Won't be returning again! read more

I've been here multiple times and have never had a problem. The lady up front has always smiled and been friendly to me. However, last night, my daughter found a hair and a BUG in her broccoli chicken. :-/ No one wears gloves or hair nets. Also, the vegetables are in the back and they come straight out of a produce box so I'm not surprised a bug made it in to my food. Not sure about the cleanliness of the kitchen. read more

2 stars for the owners attitude! First time I called in an order over the phone I stated what I wanted then she just hung up the phone without giving me a total or confirming the order nor saying goodbye! Then the next time I went in to order she ignored me for a good 2 minutes before taking my order! Mind you no one else was in the restaurant! The food is decent, honestly in my opinion nothing spectacular! Everytime I visit this place it is never busy or crowded and I'm beginning to think it is because of this lady's attitude! A little kindness goes along way!!! read more

Just left this place the woman was very rude. Called back up there once I got home to ask why the beef and broccoli and mongolian beef taste the same. She was so rude and nasty she said different sauce and hung up. They don't have to worry about me spending my hard earned money with them anymore read more

This is our favorite. The food and portions are amazing everytime. Make it a regular takeout stop on your way home from work and you won't be disappointed. We go at least once a week. read more

I will start off by saying the food here is delicious. However, business professional wise it could improve a lot. I have been a loyal customer for 9 years going here. I have never been greeted when I walk in through the door and the lady's attitude is horrible. Even when calling no one takes a name for takeout or tells you how much your order will be. I work in the medical field with patients dealing with customer service everyday and each one leaves happy. After a while it's uncessary especially if you know that person by heart or anyone who comes through the front door to not be greeted with "Hi" or just to be funky for no reason. This is the last time I will be coming back here. read more

I used to come here all the time but i think this is the last time i come back here. The owner is getting very rude. She will see you standing at the counter and she will not acknowledge you even when there is no one in the store. I will take my money somewhere else. The food is ok but i dont support rude owners read more

I've been a Kong Long regular for at least 10 years. Always great food, every time. I've tried most dishes on the menu and all were delicious. Consistently delicious Chinese food. read more

People that complain owner hangs up phone quick is because her English is limited and she is always taking calls and basically running the place. She is VERY nice and has never been the slightest bit rude. People that say owners are need to have a little empathy for how hard she is busting her butt when they walk in to pick up!! read more

While the food here is awesome the service Atrocious! If you enjoy being screamed at, hung up on while trying to place an order. Call here. If not, find somewhere else to eat. I think these ppl have an evil sense about them! I will never eat there again! Ever! Horrible! Offended! And frankly PISSED! They basically just need to lock the doors and start the hiring process again. No wonder no one is ever there! read more

Quantity was fantastic, and tasty. However the place could use a little decoration and another table and chairs for balance. I suspect most that dine here get take out. Customer service could have been better - they didn't bring our food over to the table and we were the only customers. They called out "Hey lady..." when the food was ready and packaged to go, but we were eating in. read more

I love the food from Kong Long, it is the best around. The people are always so nice. I will only eat my Chinese food from here. It is constantly good. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place any longer. Last two times they were either out of something or just outright got the order wrong. Yesterday I ordered Chicken with vegetables got home and I had beef and broccoli. Hubby wanted house special lo mein made spicy, or course it had no spice to it at all. Think it's time to find a new Chinese place. read more

Love this place. Food is great! Service is wonderful. My wife is a creature of habit and gets the same thing every time. They know us now by our order and I just walk in am handed my order, which is perfect every time, pay and go. This is the best Chinese food in Villa Rice. read more

Nothing special.... Very clean, typical take out...good food for movie night or the solo...

Kong Long is your typical Chinese takeout restaurant (though they do have very limited dine-in seating). The food is tasty, freshly prepared, and you receive a significant portion relative to the price.Their egg rolls are deliciously crispy. read more
