a bowl of soup and a container of noodles

My husband and i have been eating here for the past 12yrs with no complaints. As Truckdrivers, we have had lots of oriental food and I always compare it to Fortune Star. Most of the time, the other places do not even compare. We will always stop here if they are open when we go through Georgia.

Very simple in here, but nice people.

Great experience. The place could have been decorated a little nicer, but service was good and each dish other than the egg rolls was great and fresh.

Won ton soup

This fast food Chinese joint is delicious. I have no complaints. Reading the reviews may make you want to pass up this restaurant, but don't. I had ordered the Chicken Mien Fun, large Wonton Soup, and two egg rolls. Mien fun was cooked to standards, thin noodles with veggies. Wonton soup was delicious, the noodles were soft, not dried or hard from sitting out all day (like most places I've tried) and the broth was tasteful. Egg rolls were my favorite, they have a nice nutmeg taste to it which I really enjoy, and not greasy. I'm pretty picky about Chinese food, and now this is my go-to-spot.

yummm :)

This restaurant has amazing food (if you get the chance, make sure to get the fried chicken wings :) they're out of this world!!) great prices for quality food :) the staff is so so friendly (best service in Temple!!) and the restaurant is very clean! will definitely come back very soon :) miss the food already

Dinner for two "special" is not so special when you get charged extra for things that are supposed to be included according to the menu. Only have bottled/canned drinks. Dirty tables. Limited seating. Price for dinner for two "special" and two 24 oz bottles of Pepsi was $28. That being said...the food was very good and portions were huge. It was a dinner for two that could actually feed four. The beef was amazingly tender. So, for the price we ended up with plenty of leftovers which kinda averages out. Will try again but will order one meal to share for takeout. We were ready to rate this one star, but the taste of the food earned it two more.

This place is great! Too bad the local Neanderthal population doesn't understand the reason for the $7 rule. Buy a Coke you cheap @$$holes.

Love their sesame chicken. I hate to see their kids being forced to hangout there all day though.

Also, there's a 3% surcharge for debit/credit payments, which seems to be standard at a lot of Chinese restaurants lately but still feels a bit annoying. Our order took about 15-20 minutes, which was totally reasonable, and the staff was polite. We stuck with some simple classics: House Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken, Crab Rangoons, and eggrolls. Everything was solid. My husband especially enjoyed the General Tso's--it had whole chilis rather than just a spiced sauce, which gave it an extra kick. My House Fried Rice had plenty of meat and baby shrimp, which I appreciated. The Crab Rangoons were a little overcooked and sweeter than I like, but still edible. As for the eggrolls, my husband said they were good--but, in his words, "it's kind of hard to mess up an eggroll." Overall, a satisfying, no-frills meal with reliable flavors. Would order again.

Much better at lunch or early evening when everything is fresh and take out is usually not as good as dining in, unfortunately. Waitresses and cashiers are wonderful and very accommodating.
