The general tso order was supposed to come with an egg roll- it did not. The chicken was overly sweet and hard as a rock, and fried rice was bland. The sweet and sour shrimp is not what you would expect. It was literally 11 pieces of shrimp the size between salad shrimp to extra small, and tempura battered. You cannot deep fry shrimp that small without chewing rubber later. So, instead of making a scene, we politely asked for a remake of the items, except replace the S&S shrimp for lo mein. Oh, absolutely not, they say. We will exchange for fried rice only! No refunds! So, here we are out of $30, and no food. The rudeness and unwillingness to keep returning customers has caused them to lose a number of people. With how rude and snarky they are, the ambiance was destroyed.

Unfortunately, it fell short from the start. When I walked in, I followed the sign that said "Please wait to be seated." I stood there for several minutes as multiple waitresses looked at me but said nothing. It was uncomfortable. Eventually, a woman in a hoodie and sweatsuit appeared, said nothing, waved for me to follow her, and pointed at a table. Still no greeting, no words--just an awkward start to the meal. Once I was seated, one of the original waitresses came over to take my drink order. She ended up being the bright spot of the visit--very attentive and made sure my drink was always topped off. The food, however, didn't live up to expectations. Most of the hot dishes were lukewarm and lacked seasoning. I tried the sushi--five options total--and sadly, all were dry and very bland, like they'd been sitting out for a long time. Not what you'd hope for at prime dinner time. It's worth noting that the place seems to be a hotspot for locals picking up to-go boxes. I watched several people come in, pile food to the very top of their takeout containers, and head out within minutes. So maybe that's their main crowd--but it didn't do much to improve the dine-in experience. Bottom line: The service at the table was solid, but everything else--cold welcome, tired food, and lack of overall hospitality--makes it unlikely I'll return.
