This is located in the Ashley Park strip mall near the trolley stop. Overall, the food was fine, it just wasn't anything memorable into want to have again. I had the coconut soup which was ok, it would've been better if it were hot. It was warm and was reminiscent of the premade mixes you get at the store that you add coconut milk and mushrooms to. The lo mein was also fine, but not particularly flavorful. Except the grilled chicken which was over seasoned with pepper and tasted like it comes frozen, pre sliced. Not sure if that's the case, but it is soft and without the texture fresh chicken typically has. The veggies were fresh and it wasn't oily like lo mein can sometimes be, so that was a plus. The dining room was very clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I do think there are better options in this mall area, but if you want a wide range of Asian options at a good price, this place could do the trick. read more

Perfect menu that allows you to taste multiple Americanized Asian staples in one sitting. The Thai Coconut Soup was excellent in taste thanks to the spice/heat level adjustment (choice of 1, 2, or 3) to maximize heat. The in restaurant presentation was top notch for all menu items. My main course, the Chicken Tikka Masala, was excellent given the context. They are trying to rapidly serve multiple cuisines with meat choices easily substituted. The chicken was essentially grilled and thrown in the curry, but the sauce quality made it work. The cucumber slivers and papaad were fine, but served mostly to improve the visual presentation. The food was rapidly delivered. Overall the experience was excellent due to how solid the food tasted. Remember, this is not supposed to be authentic. Faux-thentic excellence. The one downside that would result in almost any patron deducting a star was the decision to train a new employee how to take orders during the Sunday lunch rush. I mean, come on. Went to do some light shopping in the Newnan area a week ago and my sister and I came upon this little gem, located within The Ashley Park shopping area. There's plenty of parking and they also have an patio space outside. The food was AMAZING! You have the option to dine in or out. Food is cooked fresh and came out piping hot. I was in Newnan to have lunch before a movie at Georgian Cinemas however we lost track of time and decided on a quick snack. We were familiar with the Tin Drum located in Dunwoody and Atlantic Station. For the most part we all ordered crab and cheese rolls, Vegetable Spring Rolls and these Chicken Mango Sliders. The food was good especially the sliders and the spring rolls. It seems like the crab and cheese rolls have gone up on costs and lost something in the process. One of my friends had an issue with the manager on duty on inserting herself in a comversation between my friend and another store employee over a water cup qkd a soda cup. 6/15/2022 First & last visit. Shopping in Newnan and wanted ramen. Bad decision. Should have ran back out the door after my shoes stuck to the floor, but I have had great experiences with hole-in-the-wall restaurants so decided to try. Big mistake. Ordered the Spicy miso chicken, pork belly tonkatsu ramens and some potstickers, then chose a table that "looked" clean. As I was busy trying to unstick my elbows from the table an employee informed us that they were out of the tonkatsu, OK two miso chicken. I placed napkins to cover sticky tabletop, what do they use for cleaning? Honey? It does have antibacterial properties after all. Absolutely nothing fresh here. Nothing remotely resembles the menu pictures (reference included pics). Absolutely the worst ramen I have ever tasted. Chicken fried days ago? Old oil? Freezer burned? Disgusting! Plop that boiled egg in the bottom of bowl, unsliced, unappetizing=uneaten. They couldn't even supply a cold Diet Coke, the cans from their cooler were slightly above room temp. The setup is nice, however, my spring rolls were too greasy; both times. I ended up getting a refund.

Food was delicous, wait times were very low. The price was good, especially for such large servings. Store was very clean.

I'm updating my review from a few years ago. The quality of this place has declined as the franchise has scaled. The menu was reformulated last year and most of the recipes have changed- I assume to save money. Portion sizes way down. Ingredient quality way down. Yet their prices have risen apace with every other restaurant. The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is the unique selection of wing flavors, though be warned- the wings are pretty small in comparison with actual wing places. It's no longer set apart from standard Chinese-American fare anymore- you're better off going to China One, Dynasty, or pretty much anywhere else in town and actually getting your money's worth. read more

I ordered on the APP just a drink at 2pm on a weds about 45 min before I got there . They forgot to make the drink . If you order even if there is only 3 people in the restaurant you will wait 30-45 for food . The to go orders are more important than anyone standing in front of them .When you get the food , you will be missing a portion of it or your fork or spoon . 3 weeks ago a lady came back to return her food because it was awful and they would not give her a refund . The Ashley park security had to be called . The employee and her where yelling back and forth . This place is horrible! Went in for brown sugar boba and was given boba with just whole milk. When we told them it was just straight milk we told them the milk tea tasted like straight milk, no tea and they said it's the same thing, it falls in the same category. It's not a milk tea if there's no tea! We had hoped the food would be the redeeming factor but absolutely not. Got Mongolian beef, it was super dry like it was days old and had just been reheated mix of old overcooked onions and raw onions like they tried to make it look fresh and the rice was clearly old and wasn't cooked all the way. We asked for brown rice but got white rice with some of the Mongolian sauce poured on. It's just over all a total waste of money and I definitely won't be going back or recommending them to anyone read more

I have been going to Tin Drum since it opened in my city. Here for the past year the quality has just been going down in both service and food. A couple of weeks ago I ordered for a Spicy Postsicker Ramen to be delivered to my job. I ordered it through the app so I have no idea what company delivers it (DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub, etc...). Well when my food arrived it was only noodles and an egg in a bowl. No protein and no veggies. So I called the store and explained my situation and the girl on the phone said she'd put my name on a list for me to go in and be compensated with a free meal. Well, like I said I've been going to the Newnan location since it opened and I know the managers. I went in and I don't know her name but it was the short manager with the curly blonde hair. It wasn't the tall one with the short spiky blonde hair and the tattoos, she is such a sweetheart heart. However, the short one is always rude and seems to hate her job. Well I went in and I went up to the register it was only me, the manager, and an associate. I first said "Excuse me, I had an order delivered through the app it might've been DoorDash I'm not sure-" And before I could even finish my sentence the manager interrupted me and said: "There's nothing I can do about a DoorDash order you'll have to take it up with them." And I was stunned. She wouldn't let me finish and each time I tried to explain it was through the app I don't know what company delivers it, she would argue with me and would never let me even finish what I was trying to say. Well eventually I told her an employee had put my name on a list for me to compensated for my wrong order. The manager looked at me and word for word said: "We don't have a list here. Im the manager and I would know." Like ma'am, I can clearly see you're the manager so as the manager you should consult with your employees and say there's no list if there isn't one. She was extremely short and rude with me and it is genuinely one of the most unpleasant interactions I've ever had with any staff at any restaurant. I was so frustrated with the situation I just left. Not only was I not compensated, I was argued with and I wasn't even able to fully explain my situation without being interrupted. I will not be going here again and I will not be giving the Newnan location my money anymore. I will be disputing the transaction with my bank. read more

Perfect place to order if you want something WRONG that you DID NOT ORDER! What is the point of crossing off that they did something when they did not? If I ask for brown rice, I expect brown rice, not white. I have ordered from this location two times and both times my order was wrong for different reasons. I was so excited that Newnan had a Tim Drum in Ashley Park open mall but was very disappointed in the food. The restaurant is pretty small but the decor was very nice. When I sat down the tables were a bit sticky so decided to do takeout instead. I ordered the vegetable fried rice and the container came half full of fried rice . Also there was a lot of oil in the bottom of the container. I also ordered the Panang with shrimp. I got 3 shrimp and the sauce was very watery and the vegetables were undercooked. I'm so happy I didn't order anything else. The Tin Drum in Buckhead is pretty good but I guess not all of them are the same. Needless to say, I won't eat here again! read more

This place has become an old reliable when visiting Newnan. It's in a great location immediately next door to the movie theatre. The food is consistently excellent in terms of exquisite spicing and generous quantity. My favorite dish is the scrumptious Penang Chicken Curry. Accompanied by fresh chopped veggies and a supremely divine sauce, you also have the choice of brown or white rice and I prefer brown. Often there just before noon, I often have an alfresco lunch on their nicely umbrella-shaded patio and have never waited more than 8 minutes to be served. The staff and servers are always personable and accommodating. During the pandemic all staff were following proper protocols and were masked. Highly recommended! read more

Again a creature of habit so although I've been to this place 3 times in the last couple weeks, I've ordered the same item all three times..the #7 rice noodles with chicken. It is a good amount of food for one person. Definitely last me for 2 meals. The vegetable, chicken and pasta are cooked just right. I've also had the coconut soup and that is really, really good as well. Be sure to check into Yelp! to get the free appetizer or they'll take $2 off any other appetizer which I thought was a nice touch. The restaurant is very clean. The staff very friendly and there's plenty of tables and chairs for dinning in. My friends and I had just arrived in Atlanta and were starving. We found this shopping center that had several heavier options, so when we saw a Thai restaurant we were relieved. Right when you walk in, there is a register where you place your order. There are all kinds of fun stuff at the register for purchase too, like unique candies and drinks. The items on the menu were each a unique version of staple dishes. The menu didn't have too many choices, which I actually liked because when you are looking at unique items, it's hard to choose as it is! It was late afternoon, so the restaurant was empty. It's a small and casual place with indoor seating. The restroom was well kept and clean, which is always important to me and says a lot about the business. After I placed my order, I checked-in on yelp and saw that there was a check-in offer for a free egg roll. The manager was so sweet and found a way to ring me up for the egg roll without having to place another order. The food took a little while to be prepared, but it was obvious that the reason for that is that it was FRESH! I ordered the Pad Woon Sen and OMG it was so delicious!!!! I didn't enjoy the egg roll as much but my friend was happy to take it off my hands! My dish was so large that I had enough to eat at the restaurant, had leftovers that night for dinner and then more leftovers that morning! I ate the left-overs cold and it was still soo good! I was staying up in the Mountains the next 4 days and the food was pretty terrible at the resort...I literally thought about my meal at Tin Drum the whole time LOL. Free spring roll with purchase at check in on the Yelp app seems not to be true. Staff and manager did not know about it. Although manager seemed to acknowledge this promo when I brought it up, he did not give instructions to cashier and I ended up paying for the spring roll I supposed to get for free. Later I got my money back because I caught the extra item in my receipt. I realized that staff are very inconsistently trained. One server seemed very helpful while the person taking the order looked like "I want to be out of here". Food wise, flavor of my favorite dish, the Pad Thai, seemed to have had better days years ago. Today I found flavor very plain, lacking that peanut kick flavor and turning into a more americanized Thai version. Want to get authentic Thai flavor? This is not the place. I also ordered from the Lo Men kids menu and got a dish with very greasy noodles to say the least. From this last experience, I will definitely not coming back ever again! read more
