A newcomer to Newnan, i gravitated to my Chinese roots, simply craving something other than Panda express....i drove by this place and to my surprise, they offer a lot dishes that are authentic. They also have a very wide "chef specialty" section I really enjoy the house special chow fun curry beef with onion pepper steak and their diet specialties offer steamed veggies and steamed meats. honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the items on their menu. Ordered beef & broccoli, which was mostly broccoli, it also came with rice, rice was a dry, sticky clump - whole thing was tasteless. We also ordered chicken fried rice, consisted of shreds of chicken, and dry rice, it was terrible. The pork egg roll was good; the spring roll was also good by very greasy. Not a huge fan of Chinese, but I do like Pork Fried Rice and Wonton soup. Ordered a large pork fried rice and a small soup. The soup was good with plenty of chicken flavor and four wonton dumplings. The fried rice not so much. First off, a large Chinese portion has always been a quart container. This place's large is a 26 oz container. That's 20% less food, and the price is not 20% lower than anybody else's. There was hardly any pork in the fried rice. Just to make sure that the "26" on the bottom of the container was the size and not some stock number, I poured 26 ozs of water into it and it filled it to the brim. The ingredients in fried rice are not expensive. There is absolutely no reason to skimp on portion size and meat. I won't be back. They also make you sign a receipt when you use your debit card on Apple Pay. That's both stupid and annoying. read more

We ordered fried dumplings (delicious). The house fried rice 86 shrimp. Rice is yellow, chicken very plain & no egg is rice. The fried rice overall is horrible with a funny smell and taste. One bite and I feel sick. The egg roll is also yellow with a funny smell. No thank you. We also ordered the Mongolian beef. I took a taste before trying rice and it had good flavor but now my stomach is upset. We won't be eating from here again. Waste of money. read more

Very good chinese food for the area. My wife has always been a huge fan of their Mongolian Beef because it's sweet rather than spicy like it is almost everywhere else. Their crab rangoons are decent as well which is a huge plus for me. Fried Rice is good as well as the General Tso's Chicken. So weird that they don't deliver...living in NYC makes me think everyone does. read more

Carry-out lunch today... Egg Roll: Flavor was good, but weak. Lacking crispiness, also. Hot & Sour Soup: Different from any H&SS soup I've had before. the usual mix of solids: Tofu, mushrooms, scallions. But the broth was different from most. No heat to speak of. So bland I was tempted to add salt. Instead I added Tamari, which helped. And the tiny bag of crisp noodles also helped. Roast Pork Lo Mein: Spoiler... it contains broccoli. Otherwise, not bad. Fortune Cookie: Whoever their supplier is needs to get their act together. My FC was overcooked... rather hard and burnt-tasting. Worst FC I've ever tasted. Great food. I was sitting in the parking lot debating between this restaurant and a comparable one next door. I chose this one because of their Health Department scores. I am so glad I made that decision. The sweet and sour chicken was the best I've had in the area and the egg rolls were delicious. The employees were also friendly. There are a few pretty decent chinese places usually in a suburban area, but this one is really really good. I came here once thinking it was the chinese place across the street next to Kroger. But was really happy to see a standard chinese place. The giant menus are full of delicious choices and even a few surprise dishes I didn't think they made around here. Anyways, I suggest the fried dumplings with any meal, the eggrolls are incredible and the lunch combos are always a great price too. Chinese comfort food at it's best! My favorites from here: Crab Rangoon & General Tso Chicken. Wife likes Sesame Chicken or Chicken Broccoli. I love their pork fried rice while wife demands their white rice which she always says is done perfectly! Got a bit of a language barrier, so if you want to modify a menu selection, you might have to explain it a few times, but it's worth it! Get your head on straight -- this is not a pretentious 5-star NYC or Hollywood eatery -- it's a small mom & pop kitchen in a shopping center that does *SUPER* good food with big "I ate too much" portions at a great price. The lady I was on the phone with had no idea what I was talking about so I suggested to just come in to order instead but when I arrive to explain she was still confused but it was on the menu inside . They have the best chinese food in newnan, in my opinion. Workers are kind and helpful and the food is delicious.

New owners. Ordered our staple meals, singapore mei fun and general tso chicken. Noodles in the mei fun were stained yellow, but had no flavor at all. Its like they used a quarter of the seasoning the old owners did. The general tso sauce was so watery it didnt stick tot he chicken. We were disappointed. May give it a second try in a Couple of months to let them get in a Rhythm, but if ita the same next time we'll have to find a new chinese fast food place. Ita. Gave them another try because we were doing some Publix shopping and it was right there and we were hungry. Unfortunately the food had not improved and perhaps even was worse than ever. Fried rice was bland with a strange taste almost like the pork was bad. General Tsos and Sesame Chicken were also blah and not like they used to be...or maybe just not as good as their competition we have been getting used to. I should have purchased from them in the nearby Kroger parking lot. Very disappointed as I really liked the way they used to be.
