For the most part, this is your classic local Chinese takeout and deliver my spot, it's even outfitted with the mall food court food pictures and all! When we want Chinese, this spot is the most convenient, so it's become my families go to. Our orders are always sesame chicken, house fried rice, egg rolls and wonton soup. Food is always solid, hot, well prepared and tasty! Serving sizes are good amounts, and cost is fair for what you get. Service is always good. Staff is friendly and efficient. One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The location is not big but there are several tables where you can eat in. We always get take out. If you want something special, they'll make it. I love the Garlic Shrimp, and I like to add chicken, steak, bamboo shoots...leave out onions and bell peppers. They make it with no questions. read more

Tried this place for the first time today with a pickup order. This is by far the best Chinese takeout I've ever had since living in Newnan! For my family and I, we got the wonton soup, chicken lo mein, and orange chicken with fried rice. Every single item we got was delicious! Sesame chicken was the exact same as the breaded gross orange chicken. Ordered the combination meal of chow mein that came with fried rice and an egg roll. We realized later we only received vegetable fried rice and actual vegetables with an egg roll. When I called she confirmed that their chow mein is fried rice with vegetables. So what did I pay the chow mein for with the combination? Also why is chow mein and fried rice separated on the menu? Confused and very disappointed. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Ok, maybe it is because I am on a health kick so.... I ordered the chicken and broccoli off the "healthy section." It was bland and flavorless. The provided what appeared to be oyster sauce on the side but I chose not to use. I also ordered "chicken on the stick"... teriyaki chicken skewers as I had to get to $15 minimum for delivery. First time patronizing last night, attempted to ask for swapping a dish off of the Chef's dishes for one on the combination list - Offered to pay the difference or whatever they deemed fair, and was told "No...no" - A customer should be able to order whatever they want, and the restaurant should offer a reasonable charge to do so - Perhaps the young ladies (daughters of the owners perhaps) were not authorized to make the change for me, but if that was the case that person shouldn't be left in a managerial role (IMHO). But the food was pretty good overall - Ordered the combo (meal, rice, egg roll) and asked for the fried rice to be shrimp fried rice (menu said that was a $1 up charge to do so) and ordered a small Hot/Sour soup. There were 5 or 6 smaller sized shrimp in the rice - I would have appreciated the shrimp being halved or chopped a little and actually cooked and tossed in the rice rather than simply been placed on top of the rice - But for $1 extra I was pleased at the number of shrimp I got for $1. The soup was HOT...VERY HOT! It had been approx 30 min since it had been packaged and I couldn't eat it until I was done eating the rest of my food - And I am not temperature sensitive - I like hot (and hot and spicy) food, but it was SCORCHINGLY hot - It came with fried noodle wanton strips, which were perfect and not stale - The soup was tasty, though the consistency a bit thick for me - Plenty of veggies in the soup. All in all, satisfied and I will return. I'd recommend the place. read more

It's hard to write a bad review about a place you keep going back to. This place is right down the road from my house, so I go there with my family and bring home food. My parents like it quite a lot despite usually not venturing very far outside of their southern, deep fried comfort-zone. I can't say enough about the service. The owner's high school kids are working there every time we go in, and they do a great job. They once used our free rangoon coupon that comes on the paper menu even though we were a few dollars short of the minimum. I didn't realize at the time and still feel guilty to this day. They also offer free hot tea while you wait! My only critique is that the food is inconsistent-- sometimes both the tofu and sweet and sour chicken are soggy, but other times they're great. read more

Omg yum! In Newnan from out of town. After a super long day I got to the hotel and just want to lay down. I looked up places that deliver in the area and China One came up. I called in and a very nice young lady answered and glad to take my delivery order even though it was 9:45 and they close at 10. Ordered Crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, and sesame chicken combo. Was at my room door within 20 mins! I must say the crab Rangoon was my absolute favorite and definitely the best I've ever had. Soup was fantastic and sesame chicken was just... OK. My wife found this place to be very good when she used it a few weeks ago. Late afternoon, she suggested China One for dinner. We ordered, took it home, as we opened the paper bag, I got a strong smell of fish. It was coming from my Lo Mein! There wasn't any fish in the Lo Mein. My wife got some Chow Mein... mostly bok choy with two pieces of Broccoli. The Fried shrimp was mostly breading and was found dry. The Chicken and Spare ribs were both very dry. My wife called, complained on our food. We were told to bring the food in and will get a total refund of our $35 meal. We told them we will bring in what we didn't throw away. Went to the Restaurant today 12- 15- 2019 only to be given $15 and told we ate the remainder and they will not reimburse the rest. Go to Great China next to Publix on Lower Fayetteville... they will give you consistent great quality and treat you fairly . Not like the robbers from China One! read more

I have been sampling the various Chinese Restaurants in the area since I moved to Newnan and this is my worst experience to date. I went in today after work and upon entering the restaurant the owners/employees were seated at a table talking and watching videos on their phones and gave me an annoyed look as I walked in to place my order. The food was an extreme disappointment. Pieces of my food were burned and others were still frozen/cold in the center. While I was eating my chicken I noticed a piece of a shrimp's tail was mixed in my food. It really makes me question the cleanliness of this restaurant and their measures to prevent cross contamination. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is the reasonable wait time and prices. read more

Growing up in NYC, the mecca of take-out Chinese food, I was very impressed by the quality off China One. Their attention to detail is spectacular and that's important to me because I always place huge orders. The ONLY reason why I can't give them 5 stars is because I have yet to find a Chinese restaurant down here that makes as good a Chicken with Garlic Sauce as I got up north. But all in all, the quality of the food is on point and some dishes are very close to authentic. As a professional Chef, I highly recommend them. read more

I usually go to the Great China in the publix shopping center off of Old Fayetteville Rd because It is close to my house, about three to four minutes away. The last time I was there I wasn't to impressed. The kitchen is starting to look way too nasty, and the food was sub par at best. So, this time I decided to go by the Yelpers recommendations. I ordered lunch off of their web site, and boy I'm glad I did! I ordered the sweet&sour pork with pork fried rice and a small size house Lo mein with a small wonton egg drop soup. All of the food I ordered was fantastic! I will definitely be making this my go to spot for my Chinese food fix from now on. If you go anywhere else in the Newnan area, you are making a big mistake. This is the only place I ordered Chinese. I tried other places but no of them can compare. This is the best in Newnan.

Food was okay not what I am used to in China but they do have very good egg rolls!! Also you can see they use woks makes me so happy!
