This is a great Chinese spot in the area. I was shocked, as of now they are take out only, you call in your order or go to the window on the side of the restaurant which is attached to the gas station. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken dinner special with vegetables and sweet tea. The dinner special came with a ragoon and eggroll. Everything was delicious, I barely added any soy sauce to the veggie fried rice and the sweet and sour sauce for the chicken was perfect! I've gotten food from here plenty of times, but I decided to get lunch here again todita. I ask for my Kung pao shrimp to be extra spicy. Make sure you check your food! I placed a call in to go order at Dragon House one afternoon (Kung Pao chicken no peanuts with vegetable fried rice). I arrived about 20 minutes later, paid, grabbed my food, and went on my way. I noticed that the plastic to-go bag itself was already tied in a knot and didn't bother to pry it open in order to check my food since I was driving. Once I got all the way home the first thing I saw was peanuts throughout the entire entree. I called back to inform the restaurant of the error and she placed me on hold while she looked up my order. She came back to the phone and explained that while my order was put in the system correctly it was her that told the cook to place peanuts on top anyway and suggested I just pick them out. I was shocked that she would so carelessly suggest something like that because for someone with a severe peanut allergy it could be deadly for the customer and maybe even lead to the downfall of her business. I was then told to bring the food back. I wasn't close, it would be a complete inconvenience on me to drive all the way back. I just asked for a refund since the food was now inedible. The employee got an attitude at my unwillingness to bring it back, insinuated that I was trying to get free food, and eventually hung up the phone on me. I immediately called back and spoke with the same woman who very reluctantly agreed to refund the money. The negligence & blatant disregard for the customer's order in the first place, the accusations, and outright disrespect is why I will have no problem going elsewhere for Chinese food. read more

Basic Chinese restaurant. They concerted the side to have a very Covid safe set up with the plexiglass and holes for the credit card and the food distribution. I ordered late one night close to their closing time. I ordered a chicken lomein, crab ragoon and hot and sour soup. The hot And sour soup isn't exactly the flavor I have from other restaurants. I think it needed more spice. The crab ragoon was pretty good. It was crunchy but not over fried. The lomein was good. It wasn't greasy which I appreciated. I decided to try Dragon because the Chinese restaurant closest to my house makes a greasy lomein. I tried them again during the week this week. I ordered a chicken with black bean. I wish they had more of the black bean sauce. It came with fried rice (basically rice fried in soy sauce and no veggies), one crab ragoon and a spring roll. The ragoon was too crunchy and over fried. Unlike my first ragoon the week prior which was a full order of it. The spring roll was mushy inside. I will probably stick with the full order and not the dinner next time. I got General Tso's tofu and it was pretty bland, and also there was a piece of plastic in it which was really gross because it was large and in the middle of my food. When I got to the car and opened the bag there was no egg roll or crab Rangoon. Went back in to complain and instead of making things right they start yelling at me and saying I never ordered the dinner special but ordered a full entree and a small soup. Absolute b/s. I ordered shrimp fried Rice, an egg roll, spring roll, and Teriyaki Chicken combo. Everything was correct and tasty. Shrimp fried rice comes with peas, carrots, and onions all of which I appreciated. They have had a string of delivery driver changes and apparently some staff turn over in the kitchen. Food is greasier and usually over salted, ie. not so great to eat. Also the prices have increased, there is a larger delivery fee, and the portions seem to be dwindling. If you ask me they have cut corners and looking to replace revenue elsewhere. read more

So you are headed down I-85 south from Atlanta and you're looking for a good place to stop for a meal. Pull off at exit 61 and go to Dragon House. Dragon House is a small family owned place about 3/4 miles off the interstate. Nothing fancy but really good. This is my go-to spot for Chinese food. Family run and really good value - a much better option than the fast food places that make up the bulk of the places close to the interstate. I'm not getting a pint or a quart. It's literally 2 big scoops of rice on a to go plate. So I declined. I should have walked out right there and then because the food was just mediocre... This is by far my favorite chinese restaurant. I try to get a meal there when i visit my parents even though its another 10 miles out of the way. I would eat there a lot more if it wasn't 45 minutes from my house. Their food is made fresh and they have great service. My husband took a collegue who was visiting from hong kong. It, like most, is americanized chinese, however they made a meal just from him by request and he said it was delicious. I highly recommend their food! read more

Always see it, because I live in Fairburn.. but the other Chinese place that we usually go to changed their cooks and the food was so gross twice that we went there, so I tried this. They're the only place that delivers too, so that's pretty convenient. I ordered and it was quick. Hot and Sour was a NO for me, but everything else was great. A smaller portion though compare to the other ones we've been to. Only thing that I didn't like was a lady was screaming at her kids instead of explaining her child's homework. Order was sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice and Singapore mei fun with chicken and shrimp. The Singapore mei fun smelled odd and I couldn't stomach the scent. I've had it at other establishments and it was great. Their version smelled and tasted like a mixture of what zinwould consider toilet water and curry. Surprise surprise! Next to a gas station-who knew what I would find inside? Turns out to have freshly prepared Chinese food. The fried wontons to start with were just made and perfectly fried a light golden color, not the paper towel brown you usually see. The eggroll was fresh too but just good, not outstanding. The inside was way hot though. The lunch I ordered, broccoli with garlic sauce was pretty yummy! A lot of choices at this place with all the regulars. Fast fast fast they said 10 minutes but it only took 5 minutes. Very disappointed because someone raved about this place. When I called in the women who answered was very short with me and every time I would add something she would say is that it are you done? As if she were rushing me off the phone I should have just ended the interaction there because I didn't like that but my family wanted Chinese so we figured we would go ahead and try this place out. So we ordered the general tso dinner special, sesame chicken dinner special and the Kung pao chicken plate. First the prices on the website are outdated so don't refer to it so I was surprised when she said my total was $30 for those three 3 dishes when I had been looking directly at the website when ordering. The general tso looked nothing like what I've had from many other restaurants, it looked like thick bbq sauce (I sent my husband back to the window to make sure we had received the correct meal because it looked so odd). The sesame chicken looked exactly the same (like bbq sauce) just with sesame seeds on top. The Kung pao chicken was literally a plate filled with peanuts (literally so many you couldn't see anything else when we first opened the container) uncooked peppers, onions, carrots and maybe like five pieces of small chopped up chicken (I wish I was exaggerating). The texture of the "chicken" I couldn't even tell you because you literally couldn't taste it and when you could it was very mushy, as if it weren't chicken at all. The spring rolls were extremely hard and were empty. The "fried rice" was just white rice with soy sauce no veggies or anything, just bland even when I added extra sauce to it I couldn't enjoy it. We will definitely be traveling a little further up the road next time to go to the Chinese restaurant we had before. I normally don't leave reviews but I felt I should leave one because this place doesn't have many and I wished someone had warned me before wasting my money. We spent $30 on dinner and ended the night with $27 of it in the trash can and stomach aches. My husband is literally the least picky person on the planet you can give him the wrong meal and it can be burnt and he won't complain but even he didn't like anything we purchased and that it rare. read more
