I'm so excited about the Covid-19 controls they have in place. Their GEneral Tso is some of the best around. You can let them know if you want extra crispy or not. Want extra sauce or not and they are so workable. I love their hot and sour soup too. I guess what I am trying to say is if you know your chinese and want to customize it, they will listen and get it right. I picked this place based on the reviews and I was most disappointed . Ordered general taus chicken, fried rice, egg role and hot and sour soup.... The chicken was over cooked, hard and bland and the hot and sour soup was tasteless. The rice and egg role were ok... The service is the only reason I am giving it one star . Just ordered lunch from here. While it was fairly priced, I would say I got much less than my money's worth. Soggy sesame chicken, cold fried rice. The crab rangoons were also cold and especially stale. Have never gotten exceptional food here but usually it is a great deal better than this. Hop and a skip away from where I live. I ordered take out for the second time in a month and the portion this time was smaller than last time. Food is always good and hot but as mentioned in other posts the to go portion is considerably smaller than inside the restaurant. The staff are always nice. This is the best Chinese on the south side of ATL. They fuse all Asian cuisine! The best dish I have had is the sweet and spicy pungent chicken. I know it sounds weird in English but it is a fusion of Korean Kim chi and Chinese veggies. They have food for every type of Chinese food you can imagine from "moo goo gai pan" to the American favorite "orange chicken". The owners are from Singapore and have a lot of experience with Asian food. I would not go anywhere else!! read more

Good Chinese food in the area. We love their General tso's chicken here. Its cook differently from other chinese restaurants and it's really tasty. We'll get food here when we're in the area. Tried this place for take out tonight. It was overpriced for the amount of food we got. The garlic chicken was bland and watery while having very little chicken at all- mostly large chunks of water chesnut and onion. The General Tso's chicken had an okay flavor but was rubbery and chewy. The fried rice was bland and not even palatable with added soy sauce. Very disappointed and will not be returning. There is a "by the scoop" Chinese restaurant that has better food just across the street. read more

The worst Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered orange chicken and they gave me dry chicken nuggets that seemed to be extremely old and and they gave me a cup of sauce that looked/tasted like orange marmalade. The sauce had orange slices and seeds and everything. And I also ordered fried rice and it was basically streamed rice with soy sauce poured on it. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE! read more

Very good, traditional Chinese food. Food quality is excellent. The food is cooked by an actual Asian man who owns the restaurant with his wife rather than by a Mexican employee, which is typical in other Chinese restaurants. I have been eating here for around 10 years. The family that owns the restaurant works there each day and provide amazing service. Bamboo Star is an actual mom and pop shop. read more
