I went to Thai Modern HUNGRY. I left not hungry as it has good portion sizes but ultimately I wasn't impressed. My friends that I came with rated their meals 4 and 5 stars. I'm a big fan of Thai food, but I have to admit, I was just okay with my experience. I tried the app sampler and the holy basil chili bomb. While I enjoyed the concept, I felt like it could have used more basil and chili for that real punch of flavor. They did bring out a spice tray for me to add more heat, but I expected the dish to be more vibrant from the start. The blue jasmine rice was cool to look at, but honestly, it just tasted like regular jasmine rice. I'm guessing they just added food coloring for visual appeal, which was fine, but I was hoping for something a bit more interesting. The restaurant has a few tables, but it's mostly booth seating, which are comfortable. The others in my group ordered the crab fried rice, drunken noodles, and pad Thai and more, which they seemed to enjoy. There was a sewage issue that caused a funky smell, but I'm not going to dock points for that. Stuff happens, and it's a reminder to be careful with what gets flushed down the toilet aka don't flush things down the toilet. Even if it says flushable. Overall, while the food wasn't bad, it didn't blow me away like I hoped it would. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't rate it as high as my friends did. Still, it's worth checking out if you're nearby and want to try it for yourself.

If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Thai food, this restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and inviting aromas set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The service was top tier, the chef even came out to greet us!

I took my friend there because she wanted something quick after our hike, a lot of places were closed on Sunday. Sat down at the table everyone was nice and greeted us, it was my friend's first time eating Thai, so I recommended them to get either some type of curry or pad Thai stir-fry.. my friend ended up ordering the basil rice, which was very bland! While I had the Num Tok beef salad (delicious by the way!), we had also arrived there close to closing time, we had roughly an hour to order food eat and leave. My friend wasn't satisfied with the stir-fried rice, so I asked the waitress to help us out to doctor it up instead of sending it back to the kitchen and trying to order something else close to closing time, so I asked about getting a side of curry sauce to fix the bland rice... the waitress proceeds to say that will be five dollars... as someone who used to work in the food industry, why would you allow your guest to order something that you know is not representative of your Thai food (or any food) specialty, and then try to nickel and dime us for trying to fix your bland food!! looking back on it, I shouldn't have tipped, because they clearly do not care about the customers' experience!! We wont be back, and I dont recommend

I found out about this hidden gem on a social media page. I'm so glad we decided to try them out. This is probably some of the best Thai food I've had! Everything was fresh and flavorful. We had the curry puffs, gyoza, shrimp fried rice, and beef panag curry. Friendly, professional and fast service. Nice, clean restaurant. Plus, 5 star food! We will definitely return.

This is our favorite Thai place south of the city. We come for lunch quick and quick out the green papaya salad hot Thai style. It's fantastic. My wife gets the larb salad, always a winner.

Great spot in Tyrone, GA! Very cool interior. Pleasant staff and great food! I placed my to go order of the Salad Rolls, and Drunken Noodles w/beef and chicken. While I waited I ordered a beer, the Leo brand. Good light tasting beer. I was given a glass of water to go with it. Nice instrumental music playing. A very good vibe and really good food. I'll be back!

    Roasted Duck Curry

On of our favorite restaurants. You can taste that everything is made fresh from scratch. Presentation is beautiful and look at the colorful dishes. If you haven't been, you are missing out! It's so delicious!

AMBIANCE (4/5): Tons of indoor & outdoor patio seating, although it seemed like everyone pre-ordered or picked up to go. They have 2 long communal tables and a ton of 2-4 people tables. The wood tables make it look rustic, pop music playing so it's not awkwardly quiet. SERVICE (3/5): You order at the counter first, a single cashier, but it goes fairly quickly. Most of the staff is in the back kitchen. It's more "serve yourself". You grab your own drinks from the fridge, all utensils, napkins, and water are already on the table, and throw your own trash away, everything is in disposable containers. FOOD (4/5): $22 BUILD YOUR OWN BOWL: I personally didn't like the signature rice, I wanted the crispy rice fritters but they were sold out at 1:30pm on a Friday. The crispy Brussels were AMAZING! Definitely get this for a (+$2.50 upgrade). Bulgogi ribeye was sweet and delicious! Cashier offered a side of spicy Korean sauce which I didn't realize I'd be charged for, just wish she told me it was an additional cost (+$0.75). It doesn't need any extra sauce, the bowls are very saucy! And I'm a heavy sauce person. Also added a fried egg (+$2). The bowl was very delicious, minus the signature rice, I'd get all crispy Brussels next time! $4 BUTTERFLY TEA: very sweet, but good! $4 MINI COOKIES (4-PACK): I got 2 chocolate chip and 2 banana chip cookies. A little dry, but yummy. OVERALL (4/5): This is a FAST-CASUAL restaurant. They ask for automatic tip at the cashier, but you pretty much service yourself except when they bring out the food. I honestly wasn't expecting to spend this much for a quick lunch (total was $36), but I wanted to try everything. Now I know what I like and don't like here and excited to try some of the other bowl options! Definitely recommend this place! Very yummy!

We were greeted by a hostess when we got in and promptly seated. We started our meal with the hummus and lentil soup. We came here with friends prior to a movie over at the new Trilith Cinema. It was a beautiful day with cool weather and a breeze, and the rooftop was open and it was a complete delight. They have an odd way of doing their service on the rooftop, in that everything is ordered from the bar, then delivered. They give you a number and then they bring it to you. Why don't you get the hang of it? It's not a problem and it probably makes sense when it's much busier, as I'm sure it is later in the night. They do have a wine list but it's not published on any QR code or menu, which actually doesn't matter when you got to go to the bar to order it. Anyway you just ask. They have different beers at the rooftop than down on the main floor, A few common faves but all of the Craft beers are unique to the rooftop. They also have a limited selection of the menu, mostly burgers, couple salads and some appetizers. Took a lot of pictures... Some feedback. The burgers looked awesome. I loved my falafel Burger. The deal that they got with a beer included with Burger and a side for $18 was a winner. The brussel sprouts are straight up, roasted and lightly seasoned. In both counts, the garden salad is too doused with the oil so the lettuce is limp. Drinks are made appropriately. And we will likely be back.

It seemed like all the staff were really working together well, and just concerned about the customer experience. It really shows when the staff at a restaurant exhibit true southern hospitality. Most restaurants it seems, have reduced in quality of table service since the pandemic and it's refreshing to have a great service experience. This time me and my wife just ordered the fried green tomatoes and some drinks as we had recently eaten. We enjoyed the appetizer and our drinks.
