A medium ice cream is around $5 for two scoops. A medium ice cream float is around $8. I got a medium ice cream and my husband got a medium float. For $8 my husband received a can of soda and one scoop of ice cream; which was all that was left at the bottom of the container; she really had to scrape the sides for that one scoop. When my husband inquired about this, she said that's all he gets. So, basically he got a small ice cream which is around $3 and paid $5 for a can of soda. He would have been better off buying a medium ice cream and a separate can of soda to make his own float. I ordered their coffee lovers ice cream, as I always do but it looked different. I asked the same girl who helped my husband if the ice cream that I was given was coffee lovers and she said yes. It most definitely was not. My point is a bad attitude can ruin your business; PTC is a small place. I believe they are properly priced for ice cream, but we will never again try their other options.

The chocolate macaron was hard as a rock. We went across the street to the bookstore after and got macarons that were delicate, soft, and melted in our mouths, and the difference was striking. The gf pop tart was the best of the three, but even that was doughy and falling apart so that's not saying a lot! Overall, for a bakery, I was really disappointed. Coffee is consistently good, but man. The pastries really fell short.

Modern Thai is a hidden gem near Fairburn and Tyrone, offering an incredible ambiance and some of the most authentic Thai flavors I've had--which can be hard to find! On my first visit, I arrived close to closing time and was a bit nervous about the freshness of the food and the service. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The service was impeccable--the staff was extremely accommodating and attentive to my needs. Appetizers: I started with the lollipop wings, which were packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying. The sauce complemented each wing perfectly, making every bite delicious. Entrée: For my main course, I had the L-Pad Thai with shrimp. I opted to remove the tofu and chives, but even with those adjustments, the dish remained full of flavor and absolutely delicious. Modern Thai is definitely a go-to spot, and I'll be back for more soon! read more

This restuarant had a great artisan menu of food and they present it very well. This can make or break your day if you just want a casual dinner. A good example is their thai tea with boba. They used crystal boba, rather than brown sugar tapioca and that irked me a bit. It looked good but the texture of the boba distracted me from the tea. The server explained their reason for using crystal boba the best way she could, and I just had to accept this was a part of their concept. The atmosphere feels hollow yet spacious which is great for group or couple dinners. So, single visit can feel off. You can take out if you prefer, so no worries. read more

We recently visited this Thai restaurant, and it was honestly one of the best Thai dining experiences we've ever had -- and that's saying a lot after living in Las Vegas, where incredible restaurants are everywhere. The presentation was beautiful, the flavors were authentic and bursting with freshness, and every dish was cooked to perfection. This is a new authentic Thai restaurant. Food was delicious, clean, staffs very attentive. Pad Thai like in Thailand, tom yum soup with colossal shrimps was to die for, chili bomb (chicken basil) was a bomb :), loved the crispy red snapper, basil wings so so good and the fried ice cream was perfect to finish the dinner.
