I placed two orders 1- cinnamon swirl beignets (3) , as well the 1- turtle Flavor (3) w/ a large caramel latte. The coffee wasn't as sweet as I prefer but the beignets came out hot and fresh, absolutely delicious! The restaurant space was aesthetically pleasing! Their dining area is quite spacious, and cute signage they even had outdoor seating. The one thing that concerns me was their score of "88". Of course this is a personal preference but I wasn't too thrilled to see that low of a score. Where it's placed, is out of the way and one would only notice it if they're sitting at the table by the window in the front room. It just seems like it's strategically place in an area where it can be seen but it's not obvious.

I gave this place a great review about a month ago. I accept that there will be slight…read moreinconsistencies with flavorings and added ingredients since this is a small batch parlor. However, what happened this evening has no excuse. There is a girl who seems to be in charge, she's there every time I've gone, so she should know better. A medium ice cream is around $5 for two scoops. A medium ice cream float is around $8. I got a medium ice cream and my husband got a medium float. For $8 my husband received a can of soda and one scoop of ice cream; which was all that was left at the bottom of the container; she really had to scrape the sides for that one scoop. When my husband inquired about this, she said that's all he gets. So, basically he got a small ice cream which is around $3 and paid $5 for a can of soda. He would have been better off buying a medium ice cream and a separate can of soda to make his own float. I ordered their coffee lovers ice cream, as I always do but it looked different. I asked the same girl who helped my husband if the ice cream that I was given was coffee lovers and she said yes. It most definitely was not. My point is a bad attitude can ruin your business; PTC is a small place. I believe they are properly priced for ice cream, but we will never again try their other options.

We walked in and a young lady promptly greeted us with a smil and friendly convo. I ordered an Oreo attic blast ($6.59 + tax) and my nephew decided on a vanilla milkshake ($5.59 + tax). Not too bad for two delicious treats and mine was full of Oreos chunks. It was soooooo good and it took me a minute to finish because of the size. We tried three different pastries, and none were great. The cheese danish was the worst. It wasn't made on flaky pastry. It was like a thick, chewy slab of pizza crust with some cheese and jam on top. Literally, the texture and taste was exactly like a thick, stale pizza crust. So confusing. The chocolate macaron was hard as a rock. We went across the street to the bookstore after and got macarons that were delicate, soft, and melted in our mouths, and the difference was striking. The gf pop tart was the best of the three, but even that was doughy and falling apart so that's not saying a lot! Overall, for a bakery, I was really disappointed. Coffee is consistently good, but man. The pastries really fell short.
