I'm still making my way around the area for the take out Chinese restaurant to become MY CHINESE FOOD SPOT. This place was pretty good. It's located in a small strip mall so there was sufficient parking. I orders my favorites and really enjoyed my dinner so I plan to return to China One soon. This spot is the average NY style Chinese take out...this place is small, a bit greasy looking and the staff separated by a large plexiglass. The service was good, the person who took my order listened and didn't make me repeat anything. I received exactly what I ordered so they have earned another visit!

Got an order of pepper steak entree and it was full of green peppers! I don't mind a few green peppers but this was ridiculous!! They screwed my wife's order too. They forgot her egg roll. We were supposed to get fried rice with our entree but ended up with plain white rice in two containers, Yuck!! This place used to be a good place to go and get decent Chinese food!! But I'll not go back or call them again and will not recommend them either!!!

Food was piping hot and the braised sauce was amazing! The fried rice was cooked perfectly and I love that they included sprouts. Most places don't but I love em! Lunch special was tasty and affordable.

    Lol with an orange after.

This food was delicious, quick lunch break and I stop at China one for the first time. Had the chicken fried rice, braised wings and a side of boneless spear ribs. The food was cool. Boneless spear ribs a little tough but over all was good

First time there just passing thru.... We ate inside only because I didn't won't to eat in my car. This place is really a stop and go! You can basically walk-in there with your bonnet on ... I ordered the chicken wings and pork fried rice lunch special and my wife got the braise wings and fried rice. You wait as long as 10 minutes.. Fresh and Hot. I particularly liked it there Fried Chicken wings the pork fried rice was str8.

After a day in the city, we opted to order dinner in. My family is fond of Chinese food, but it can be at some times difficult to find decent Chinese food back home. The problem is that the food tends to be too sweet, too salty or a bit too syrupy. My family in Atlanta endorses this place, and noted in advance that while it is not really a good spot for dinner it's a must try. I was anxious to check it out. It's true. While this place would work well for a lunch service, it is not well tuned for a dinner service, especially for family. The place is tiny, located in an underdeveloped strip mall. There were about six tables total that would seat four individuals each. Also, it is highly casual. Not a bad thing; you just have to be in the mood for the feel. We decided to go with takeout. The server was very kind and patient with us. She may sure to go over the order multiple times (considering the size, I'm sure). Five of us were eating, so we went with a sizable order: chicken fried rice, beef fried rice, sesame chicken, orange chicken, chicken lo mein, wings, a blend of wonton and egg drop soup, egg rolls and the broccoli stir fry (vegetarian) cooked with garlic sauce and bamboo shoots. This came with several boxes of steamed rice. All told, the cost was about $75, and we have enough for an afternoon -- and maybe even another night -- of eating. Where to begin! Nice portion sizes!!! And I was very, highly impressed with the sauce. It's perfectly flavored and there wasn't too much of it. One of the things I get frustrated with when it comes to Chinese food back home is that the dishes are drowned in sauce. Not here. There was a gentle depth to the dishes; hearty without leaving the body feeling icky. I especially enjoyed the sesame chicken, which was lovely and flavor. I also appreciated the level of spicy: hot enough to peak your taste buds but not too hot that it burned off sections of your tongue. Strange things: the wontons were way too large and we got a ton of soy and duck sauce. Nothing needed those sauces! Why would you muddy such luscious dishes with added salt and sugar?! And I loved the freshly steamed broccoli served with each dish -- a wonderful complement to the sauces.

General sSo's Chicken egg roll vegetable lo mein

The general tso chicken was fresh and warm. Not spicy at all nMaybe on the sweet side not The egg roll was Very good. The steamed rice was perfect! The Vegetable low mein was completely awesome with fresh veggies/mushrooms, fresh noodle and good sauce and hot! Salty. Ask for sauce and utensils if you need it. Check receipt for coupon. They tell you free but idk.

Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place before. I eat her about once a month for lunch. Lunch specials go till 3 pm and are very reasonable. It's always hot and fresh and a pretty large portion. I usually get chicken lo mein (have tried sweet and sour and sesame as well). The chicken has always been "clean" and good. It's located in a strip mall, but worth a visit.

Found this in the egg drop soup I ordered!

Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!

The drink was really good, especially for a restaurant!! Very floral tea with fruity mango notes, it was so good I wanted another one. The mapo tofu was very rich in flavor, it had the spiciness but also held the body of the black bean flavor without being oily. So far our favorite mapo tofu in the area. The Yummy Spicy Chicken (fried cubed chicken with peppers) was the same, the crunchiness was perfect and the chicken was still moist. I do wish it had a little more spice but it was still good. The Jing Jiang pork also tasted good, but I was quite surprised with the meat quality as re-heating the next day did not have any gamey flavors. Finally the dry vegetable was also really delicious, a wide variety of vegetables with a few having a seared flavor. Would try getting the beef dry pot next time! Also, it's summer and the sunlight is very bright, making it extremely difficult to tell whether the sign is lit or not. The three-minute wait wasn't the issue. What bothered me was the way the staff member spoke to us. It felt more like he was lecturing us than politely communicating with customers.
