This worker named Alyssa was very rude to me and my family, we came in after a long and busy day just hoping to order some nice food. When she was severing us she was extremely rude and was snappy with us. She made the whole experience suck. I could tell she was on something cause her eyes were very red. I have to say I will not be eating here ever again, this place is horrible you have terrible workers, I think you should fire this worker this isn't the first time I had problems with them being extremely rude And disrespectful to me and my family, She even got upset over the fact I wanted to buy some extra rice for my little girl. She made my daughter cry on the whole car ride home, she even called the lady scary. it broke my heart, I have never seen her so terrified. I'm telling everyone I know not to go eat at this place. Been coming to this specific location for over a year now, each visit can be specific due to who is working. I can say from my personal experience that every time Peter is there he is spot on with customer service, always helpful to his best abilities and provides excellent customer service! If anyone comes down to this location while Peter is there give him a big shout out because what can otherwise be a 3 star experience he always goes above and beyond to make it a 5 star! I usually only get the large box of chicken teriyaki. The polite young man preparing it for me fixed it and closed the box. The young lady next to him opened it before I could pay and started taking out pieces of chicken. I asked her "what are you doing" she.said he gave me to much. I understand that you may have a measured amount to give but the box was already closed and ready to be paid for. That didn't look right nor did I appreciate it. It was tacky. Always fast and friendly at this location. The servers are patient and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the food was hot. I enjoyed the sweet fire chicken and the chili crisp shrimp with fried rice and chow main. The portions were really good. My only critique is that some of the rice was hard. I visited this location while on a business trip around 6:30pm for dinner. Upon arrival, I noticed a very long line at the drive-thru and inside. While being the 6th customer in line, I overheard one of the staff telling a customer that they are out of fried rice. Not that I like nor was going order the rice, I thought to myself how do you run out of fried rice. That's like Chickfila running out of chicken. So at that moment I decided to approach the counter to see exactly what entrees were available.....ONLY 3 excluding the Chow Mein. It was beyond me that literally nothing was available to order. Today Nov. 20, 2025 at about 1:30/1:45pm, I was waiting patiently in line when I noticed the cook (a short white/asian) lady standing over some running water and a colander pulling broccoli from somewhere with her bare (un-gloved) hand, placing the small pieces of broccoli in the colander until full, then she went to the freezer pulled the handle (no gloves) and proceeded into the freezer. While inside I watched her move several containers around, come back outside the freezer, and went back to the broccoli, running her hands through it as if it was stimulating. I don't know. but what I do know is: SHE IS VERY UNSANITARY. I spoke with a manager in regards to "no gloves", she said it wasn't part of Panda Express's policy. Not even after COVID!!! I just left one of your Panda Express locations, and to say I'm frustrated would be putting it mildly. I walked in expecting to grab a simple meal -- nothing fancy, just something decent and consistent. Instead, I was met with an absolute mess. First off, how does a restaurant like Panda Express run out of white rice? That's literally one of your core staples. It's in nearly every combo you serve. But it didn't stop there. You also somehow had no orange chicken available -- arguably the one item most people go there for. That's like going to Starbucks and being told they're out of coffee. And to top it all off, you weren't even accepting card payments. What year is this -- 1980's? Are we supposed to just carry cash around and hope for the best? Between the missing food and outdated payment options, this was an embarrassing experience and a waste of my time. I've honestly had better service from gas station food counters. If this is what Panda Express is becoming, then you've lost a customer. We have a new manager. This location is NO longer utilizing all the ingredients. They are using cheap spices instead of the normal Panda Express ingredients to cut down on cost. I purchased food today and it was cold, you can tell it had been sitting out for a while. The customer service is horrible. Forgive my description of staff, but you know who you are. There is a white male working the front counter. He's working so hard, training, preparing orders, and check out. While his staff members are working NOT to prepare order, sad. One representative spends all day writing on the container instead of assisting the next customer. Question, where are you going to work if you cannot serve the next customer. If serving requires training, we have a BIG problem in America. How do you fix your own plate at home? The same skill set is needed at work. But at Panda Express this require training. I don't usually eat Asian cuisine so had no intention of ordering anything when I stopped by here with my husband. I don't like rice so that was that. Believe me, my husband has tried to get me to eat all kinds of rice. On this day, he convinced me to try a bowl with chow mein noodles and black pepper chicken. No rice so I was cool. In light of my digestive issues related to chemo, my husband asked the manager if they would make my dish fresh to order. The manager was very empathetic and politely instructed the kitchen staff to do so. To be honest, all of the staff was kind and customer friendly. Let's not forget this is basically a Chinese restaurant out of a mall but stands alone & has a drive thru. I normally go inside because it's easier to look at what is there & it's fast. Let's get real though... This is Douglasville. You shouldn't have five star expectations for a fast food Chinese restaurant or any restaurant out here, really. Anyway, my boyfriend and I went in around 1pm on a Tuesday. Few people still having lunch, and most of the entrees were still available but a few were empty.. which is expected since lunch rush is technically over. Everything was clearly labeled, you can get a bowl for like $6 with one entree & one carb, or $7 for 2 entrees+carb, etc. Each entree has a chili pepper if it's spicy & a tag that says premium +$1.25 if it costs extra. I used to live in Douglasville and I was there when Panda Express was built & there was always an icon for upcharges. I don't expect the cashier to tell me something that's labeled. I ordered sweetfire chicken & Beijing beef, both labeled as spicy but they arent enough to cause alarm. They give you 1-2 scoops per entree which is a ton of food for under $10. That's an awesome deal ... Not sure why people complain about this place. The food tastes just like I'd expect for Chinese fast food. Noodles are dry but rice looked fine. I frequent the area where this Panda Express is located very often. I always it but never eaten here until today. My nephew who is 15 is here visiting from Chicago. He loves Orange Chicken. What I remembered from going to Panda Express in the past is their most popular dish is the Orange Chicken so I figured I'd bring him here. He ordered orange chicken and Beijing steak with a side of noodles. I didn't intend to get anything but after I tasted his chicken and steak, I jumped back in line and ordered a 2 meal plate for myself ! I had the orange chicken with beef and broccoli with a side of the super greens. Everything was very FRESH and HOT. The orange chicken was crispy tossed with just the right amount of sauce. The vegetables were fresh and crisp with the perfect amount of fresh crushed garlic. The beef was very tender. I had to wait a few minutes for them to refresh the orange chicken which was not a problem. The gentleman who prepared my order gave me a complimentary drink for the wait which I thought was very nice. All of the staff were very friendly. The restaurant seating area was very clean which is always a plus for me. The cooking area and food display areas were very neat, clean and in order. I look forward to going back again. They really can't make a claim to be fast food. The staff here lack any sense of urgency. From third in line inside the store... took over twenty minutes to whittle their way down to me. Half the pans were empty, wound up having to substitute two out of three parts of my entree to accommodate their outs (or wait another ten minutes). In all honesty, could have gone to a full service restaurant and been fed sooner. Have been back several times - there is ZERO change!!!! They are consistently out of entrees every single time I go - they are NEVER ready! Well, we're back to being managed terribly. In the drive thru and find it would be 3 min on orange chicken. So I say that's ok. There are 3 cars in front of me. 3 plus minutes later i'm at the window ready to pay, then they tell me it's 3 min on orange chicken. I say you said that 3 min ago. I say I'll wait but i'm not pulling forward because EVERY TIME I've pulled forward to wait for food at this location I've been made to wait 10 min or more. They never discount anything for making you wait and always take longer then they tell you. I've had it with this location. The #1 SELLING ITEM ON THEIR MENU and they're running out!?
