Either case, I've learnt to never say never as far as trying them again. 1. Hubby ordered - VEGGIE SPRING ROLLS - dry and stale as if cooked the day before - COMBINATION MEAL: General Tso's Chicken and egg fried rice. Hefty portion size. Chicken was good; Rice was undercooked. ***OVERALL RATING: 2/5 2. I ordered WHOLE WINGS. I expected the bold, Asian flavor that Chinese-style wings usually have. Instead it tasted like they dropped unseasoned wings in a fryer and then put them in a styrofoam box. They were golden brown, crispy, and flavorless. I tried to add salt but it didn't stick. Couldn't eat them. ***OVERALL RATING: 1/5 Although there was a language barrier, the lady that took our order was friendly and tried very hard to understand and please us. The restaurant is on the end in the Kroger shopping center on Hwy 5. Great location for parking and running in for pick up.

It was so dry and stringy that I wound up having to feed it to my dog. It was so hard that I couldn't fully chew it. I chewed it to get some flavor out of it and then had to discard it. I eat here often, especially for their egg drop soup. I can't fully express how disappointed I am for having wasted this meal. The rice was okay. The chicken was horrible. So I paid $10 for about 1/3 of an edible meal. I won't be back.

Before I moved I went here more than twice a month and that was when I was in high school through college. I recently came back here 5 years later and the food quality is still great. I love that they use white meat for the Sesame Chicken. I haven't ordered a dish I didn't like. The owner is quiet but to the point, know what you want and if you need pickup or delivery. I went so often and while we didn't have conversation we knew each other by face. After all these years you would think food would change, especially after the pandemic. But China Garden still continues to be the best Chinese Restaurant I have ordered from.

The best lemon pepper wings I've had in a long time. Let me tell you about the fried rice though. It's cooked perfectly. No matter if you get beef, chicken, or shrimp, the pieces are always big. No popcorn shrimp here! ;) This has been our regular wing spot since 2019/2020 and there's no signs of that changing anytime soon.

They have a few tables for you to sit and wait or sit down to eat. Food: BABY!!! Wings are perfect size! I hate too small and too big but these are PREFECT! Wings have a nice crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Fried rice was very good, comes with onions and eggs. The fries come plan but nothing a little salt cant handle. And the fish was also good as well. Fried nicely! Of course I'll be back!

Atlantic Buffet - Douglasville, Georgia 4.3 out of 5 Stars…read more If you're in Douglasville, Georgia and you're in the mood for a buffet where everyone in the family can find something they like, Atlantic Buffet is definitely worth considering. One of the biggest strengths here is simply the amount of variety. This is a large buffet with a mix of Chinese, American and Mexican-style dishes, along with plenty of other choices throughout the restaurant. If you're dining with a group where everybody wants something different, you shouldn't have much trouble keeping everyone happy. During our visits, the staff has been friendly, and we've never had to wait to be seated. That's always a plus with a buffet--especially when you arrive hungry and don't want to spend the first 20 minutes staring at the food from the waiting area. As far as the food goes, the items we tried were at proper serving temperature at the time of our review, and there was plenty to choose from. Two of our personal favorites were the Birria Tacos and Orange Chicken. And honestly, with a buffet this large, that's only scratching the surface. The price is also right about where we'd expect it to be for this type of restaurant. Depending on when you visit, drinks and tip, you're generally looking at typical buffet pricing. Considering the amount of food and variety available, we felt the overall value was good. Now, it's not perfect. Some of the food can be a little heavy-handed with the salt, so if you're sensitive to sodium, you may want to sample a smaller portion before loading up the plate. The bigger weakness is the condition of the restaurant itself. The interior and seating are starting to show their age, and some of the booths had a slightly sticky feel that could definitely use more attention during cleaning. The restaurant would benefit from a good deep cleaning and some updating to bring the dining area up to the same level as the variety coming from the buffet. But when it comes down to the most important question--would we eat here again? Absolutely. We've yet to try anything at Atlantic Buffet that we wouldn't eat again. There are certainly areas where the restaurant could improve, particularly with cleanliness and updating the dining area, but the friendly service, large selection, good food and reasonable buffet pricing outweigh those negatives for us. If you're in the Douglasville area and you're looking for a buffet with enough variety to satisfy just about everyone at the table, Atlantic Buffet gets our recommendation. Good variety, good value and plenty worth coming back for--just give those booths a little extra scrub!
