I live in the Bay Area and I came to this restaurant by chance since it was close to our hotel and it was a delicious surprise. There is so much diversity and food competition in LA but this restaurant takes the cake as you feel like home as soon as your enter. More importantly, the food is excellent and it will definitely be one of my to-go places every time I visit. We went there for Mother's Day today after googling Peruvian restaurant nearby. It was kind of hidden but as soon as we entered we were welcomed in and sat down right away. The place is very clean and well kept. Nice decor on the walls and comfortable seating. The server brought us bread and butter right away followed by a soup (on the house) we weren't expecting that at all, so it was a nice treat! The food was also very delicious and the prices very reasonable. I will definitely be coming back here again. Oh and they gave my mom a flower for Mother's Day. Great first experience! read more

This is a great spot to have real authentic Peruvian food. Each time I've been here, I've had a superb time. Lol. The owners are super friendly and they are attentive in the kitchen and front end. Everyone working here works hard. And they work as a team. The vibe is family friendly. It can get packed but the wait times are not long at all. They've accommodated a party of 7 in less than 5 min with a full house. I really recommended the "CHAUFA" and "SUDADO DE PESCADO MIXTO" if you really love the seafood flavor. This place is amazing!! From beginning to end. They first bring you in house made dinner rolls and butter. Then they bring you a chicken broth that is so simple but delicious. Very clean and simple decor makes this restaurant unassuming, but don't be fooled. Once you order, a delicious basket of fluffy mildly sweet bread is brought to the table followed by a delicate and delicious chicken soup. For our main meals, we ordered two chicken dishes, one was a mildly spicy curry with potatoes, and the second one was shredded chicken in a cream sauce, served with a side of white rice. The food is the best Peruvian I've tried yet. Not too salty, a common trap I've found in other establishments. Portions are really big too! Everyone working is super friendly. You get complimentary soup (some sort of greenish chicken soup-- sorry, I don't know my Peruvian dishes! I'm uncultured!) and bread rolls for both dine-in and to-go orders. My favorites are the pollo combinado (rice + beans) and especially the chaufa de pollo/chicken fried rice. I don't know what they put in that stuff, but it has to be magic. read more

I live in Long Beach and my favorite Peruvian place closed a couple years ago and I haven't found anything I like since . decided to take a drive down to Paramount after seeing the reviews and this place was delicious! I called in for pick up. The guy at the counter was very nice. The food was extremely tasty, I had the lomo saltado I enjoyed it very much and my husband had a half of rotisserie chicken which he said was juicy, seasoned perfectly and tasted great!! This place is a treasure. The family and staff really take care of you like no other places. The place is very homey, comfortable, clean, spacious, and has this unique Peruvian diner element. We ordered the Ronda Marina (a must!) and Lomo Saltado (another signature must). The house soup was given to all of us, it's rice, vegetables, and chicken soup...super delicious. The flavors are very balanced, the ceviche is brilliant and tastes very good with the fried calamari, fish stew, fried sweet indigenous corn, and seafood rice. Finished off with Torta helada and Helada de lúcuma (super delish from Peru!). Also, the drinks are unique here...Inca Cola (tasted like Thai green Fanta haha), Maracuyá, and Chicha morada. I feel like I'm in Peru, it's a blessing to find and taste greatness here. The family and staff keep checking on us too, very friendly and lovely. Popped in here to get lunch Togo.. it's a tiny restaurant but the flavors are great! The green aji sauce is bomb a and they are pretty quick! Ordered 3 different things and it took only 10-15 minutes.. the aji camaron is decently sized and not overly stuffed with rice I would say just the right amount of rice and a good amount of shrimp and the round things in it look like scallops but they are potatoes. The dish was delicious.. especially with the green aji sauce.the ceviche is very tasty as well and comes with a round piece of sweet potato. It has a pretty good kick. 10/10 recommend! This place is ! Pura delicia! The service is so good they greet you so quickly when you walk in and sit you immediately. Once you're sat they take you bread immediately and follow up with a small bowl of chicken soup! The Lomo soltado is so yummy but it's the only thing I have had here aside from the beans they are also so so yummy. The food is all very well seasoned and tastes amazing. I ordered the Lomo Saltado and it was VERRRY delicious! I really didn't know what to order when I got there since I'm not really familiar with Peruvian food. Luckily my server Karla was helpful and recommended this dish and I'm so glad she did. The beef and onions were so good but even the fries had the same flavor as the beef and onions. I do love the green sauce that they serve on the side but I didn't want to ruin the delicious flavor of the dish. It's that good! Even the complementary small soup they served was great in itself. The Arroz Chaufa was decent, I was expecting a little different since it is modeled after Chinese Food, but to be honest, it was a little better the following day as a leftover and I added some Soy Sauce...wasn't any leftover after that, it was delicious.
