I recently ordered chicken soup from La Hacienda while I was feeling under the weather, and the experience truly meant a lot. The soup itself was comforting, flavorful, and exactly what I needed--rich broth, and taste homemade. What really stood out, though, was their kindness. I called to let them know I was sick, and they went above and beyond by including extra lemons and even a piece of panettone. That small gesture made a big difference and showed how much they care about their customers. Great food and even better service--I'll definitely be ordering from La Hacienda again. I walked into this place because I heard the rotisserie chicken was very good and their most popular in menu. When I walked in and grabbed the menu. I saw a big fat ROACH in the counter next to where they cook and have the chicken. I see the cashier notices I look a her and she acted like she didn't see anything. I placed the menu back and didn't want to make a scene as there was family eating already. I did walk away and right away notice the cashier talking to the cook! I'm 100% sure she told her about it! I could only imagine them not cleaning where all the chicken is cooking as it was right next to it. This place needs the health department ASAP!!!! I would never eat there ever!! Place is very old and not clean at all. Floor was dirty and stuff is open and not even covered. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! read more

What a horrific experience!!! This is the first time in my life in which I do not eat the food served. I was there today, I asked the server for her opinion between a Lomo Saltado and Ceviche Mixto, her answer was "everything is good, I'm a sales person here". I should have walked away!!! The Ceviche did not have any taste, the Calamaris were old, dry and beige (see photo). I was afraid I was going to get food poisoning so I paid and left. Located in a strip mall, has an 'A' health dept grade. When we walked in they told us to sit where ever we wanted. No one acknowledged us after that for 7 -10 mins & we were sitting at the booth in front of the counter. No bueno customer service for that. PROS - They have 2 aji's for your complimentary bread. A lot of items on the menu you don't see at other peruvian restaurants, good variety. Their ceviche de pescado was yummy very flavorful. CONS - I ordered a tallarin Saltado de carne & a lomo saltado, neither had flavor at all, pretty disappointing especially after reading Yelp reviews. They don't have fountain drinks so can soda is $2 each & that adds up. We were craving Peruvian food and decided to check out this nice hole in the wall restaurant. Never had Peruvian food so I decided to check out the 2 plates that stood out and the most popular one. Our server was super friendly and helpful, great attitude so that's always a plus. We were given a loaf of bread with butter, and two types of sauce that were tasty. As for drinks I know we had to try the popular Inca Kola and the chicha morada, but were tasty and I'd order it again. Now to the awesome food! We started off with the appetizer papas a la huancaina, super creamy and full of flavor. We ordered the Lomo Saltado which did not disappoint. I wanted more! The meat was so tender and full of flavor. The last thing I tried was the pan con chicharron, now I like my chicharron more crispy but it was still good and flavorful. Found this little gem randomly on a a Sunday evening while looking for something to eat with my boyfriend. It's hidden away in the corner of a small shopping center. The food was amazing!!! We had lomo saltado. I've had my share of Peruvian food so I know what real Peruvian food tastes like and this.... this is LEGIT. The green ají salsa is so good I contemplated sneaking the entire bottle home with me... The kitchen is open so you can watch the chef in the back making your food fresh to order. Found a bug in my food here to start, customer service over the phone was different from in person pick up. Over the phone service employee was very rude and changed her mind about previously giving me the OK to place 3 separate orders as my family and I were to split the costs. After order was complete she then changed her mind about the 3 orders she told us no and to pay in full over the phone. Upon arrival to pick up food the employee tried to be much nicer after being callled out about the phone conversation. Anyways, never coming back here. read more

I love their food. That's our go to place for delicious Peruvian food. My favorite is the Aji de Gallina, Tallarin Saltado and the Lomo Saltado. The chef gets down. I do agree that they lack in being attentive when you get there. Twice that I went there with my GF we were the only customers there and some tables had plates and cups from previous customers.
