This time I ordered take out. I do like to dine in, I enjoy the atmosphere and ambience of the place. I love all the Peruvian knickknacks and decorations. It's good food and good sized portions. Nice to know they have lunch specials because it can get pricey. Chaufa de mariscos is the dish I ordered on this day and I was able to share it and still felt I had enough food. Each plate comes with a small chicken soup and bread.

My go to spot for lomo saltado and mariscos saltado. Bread and green sauce always good. I've dined at the restaurant many times and ordered for takeout many times as well. Food is consistently good. The pictures depict the time where II tried the pollo combo and OH em Gee. Amazing.

Absolutely delicious! I ordered the lomo saltado, chicken arroz chaufa and both dishes were very flavorful. They also serve a small portion of a soup that was so yummy. The service was very friendly and the ambiance calm and family friendly with salsa music playing in the background. Can't wait to go back!

This was my first time at Ají Verde and I cannot wait to come back. I met friends here for dinner and we were immediately greeted by the staff who were very kind and accommodating. There was plenty of seating too. We started our meal with the yucca frita and a delicious soup! I ordered the lomo saltado which was cooked to perfection. The beef was tender, the potatoes were not soggy, and the dish is packed with flavor.

My favorite restaurant that went from LB to Paramount but I'll drive all the way to paramount because this family owned business is the best in many aspects! The owners are honestly the sweetest and are always very welcoming! They always make sure everyone is content with their food and service. The food here is delicious! The pollo a la brasa is the best with their fresh made fries and salad! Their green sauce is very addicting as well. Not to mention that you get fresh made bread and Aguadito(a side of Peruvian Chicken Cilantro Soup) with every entree ordered. It's usually always crowded but they're worth the wait. They have Peruvian music playing in the background but not too loud so you can enjoy your food or so that you can talk amongst each other. Señora Alicia always always makes my family and I feel so welcomed. Thank you Aji Verde for existing

Authentic Peruvian restaurant, great food, and great service. We showed up during the lunch rush, they were extremely busy, but they still managed to take care of us quickly. The lunch special is a steal, $12.99 for a lomo saltado plate, plus a soup. You cannot go wrong. Great place to eat..... 5 starts!!

Lomo Saltado has the right touch of marinate and spices. Generous portions. Service is prompt and attentive to your needs and requests. Plenty of seating area & a very culturally rich ambiance.

Top tier Peruvian. If you love Pollo Inka, Fernando's, or Tondero... You will love this. They have a lunch special, I want to say around $17 (online and even cheaper in person), it's very affordable. They have a dish I can't get anywhere else around, lomo and lentils. Whoever came up with this combo, thank you! It's death row, last meal worthy. Lomo seasoned perfectly, portion sizes are very generous, I love everything about it. I love that they give you complimentary bread and soup. Love this place. Papa Rellena, and Aji de Gallina are also top notch.

We ordered the cerviche (Mixto Cebiche), soup (Chupa De Camarones), Arroz con Pollo, and Tallarín Verde w/ beef steak to share for two people. The mixed cerviche comes with big chunks of fresh halibut, and plenty of shrimp and octopus. The sour and tangy flavor is perfectly balanced the glazed sweet potato and Peruvian corn and corn nuts. Definitely a must-try if you like cerviche! The soup (Chupe De Camarones) has a thick and creamy (shrimp chowder) texture, with plenty of peas/carrots pieces, fried fish, and a scrambled egg on top. Very hearty and just perfectly seasoned. We ordered the regular size and the portion is plenty enough even for two people to share. The specialty courses Arroz con pollo (rice cooked with cilantro sauce with chicken) and the Tallarín Verde (pesto spaghetti/parmesan cheese with breaded beef steak) are just as delicious as all the other dishes. The pesto spaghetti is al dente, and the pesto flavor is just devine! If you like cilantro, you cannot go wrong with the Arroz con pollo. Both of these dishes come in big portions, plenty to share for two people. Good service as our waitress was very attentive. Great value considering the cost. Good atmosphere, and plenty indoor seating. Parking in front of the establishment can be crowded, but there are also plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding area. If you are craving for Peruvian food, this is the place to be! Also since this is family-owned, please come and support your local small businesses.

Upon first bite, I did not like the carne. IMO I don't like bell pepper and that's the first thing I tasted, so that overpowered my palate from being to taste the carne. My boyfriend however enjoyed it. He said it had good flavor and was tasty. We then tried the jamon y queso. My favorite of the 3 we tried and probably the only one I ate. I like ham and I like cheese so I enjoyed it. Since this was the only one I liked, my boyfriend let me eat all of this (since we were splitting it). I like the saltiness you get from the ham and the texture of the melted cheese makes the empanada melt in your mouth. I did not like the elote. I was expecting something different. And again I tasted bell pepper. My boyfriend ate this one. He said he likes how it had a lot of corn and there was some type of sauce inside that brought of the flavor which he enjoyed. The ambiance of where this is located is cool. It's located in the Steel Craft and we were there for the game so it has a great atmosphere.

It was a hole in the wall and had relatively good reviews for lomo saltado so I had my hopes up thinking the food would be amazing. My chief complaint is that it took almost 30 minutes for my single order to come out because the kitchen was busy prioritizing to-go/delivery orders. Had I known this, I wouldn't have eaten inside the restaurant; I would've actually gotten it delivered. My next complaint is that no receipt was given as customer copy, and no itemized receipt when asking for tip. The total for this dish came out to almost $30 including tip, and the waitress/cashier didn't mention the lunch special at all. I brought it up to ask about it after I paid, to which she replied, "Oh, you probably don't want that cuz it's smaller. But it comes with a drink and soup." The fact that she assumed I wouldn't want the lunch special (when I'm there at lunch time) that would've been a much better deal at $17.99 and perfect portion size for me, and yet charged me for the regular dinner price was a bit presumptuous. It's also weird that they would ask for a tip (which I gave anyway) before I even received my meal. It's less about the price but the principle! But I was just hungry and needed to go to my next appointment, so I didn't argue, but again, the food took way too long to come out so I had to ask her about it after the 25 minute mark. Food came out after 30 minutes, and I had to get up and ask for the aji verde sauce when most restaurants usually serve it to you with the meal. The aji verde sauce which is really important to me to complement this dish, unfortunately missed the mark as well. I really missed Sol Inka's aji verde sauce that's well-rounded in every way. Lomo saltado should be balanced between the meat, tomatoes, onions, and fries, but it was definitely heavy on the fries with only two pieces of tomatoes. I would've preferred more meat too if it's the regular plate, but it felt like a fries dump. I wouldn't have had complaints if this were the lunch special order. Anyways, if you don't mind the headache & having to be extra proactive to get what you want, this is the place to be, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. $30 for a sub-par lomo saltado where well over half of it is fries does not sit well with me, considering I waited 30 minutes for my meal. Unfortunately, I'd just have to stick to Sol Inka for my regular Peruvian food fix, as the flavor is more robust there anyways. Oh, and Sol Inka also gives complimentary warm bread and butter, while there isn't anything like that here.
