Ahipoki is a really good spot for a quick and delicious fast food Poke fix. I really like their fish variety and fish marinades. They offer Poke Bowls, mini bowls, Musubi and hand rolls. But they are not limited to fish. They also have a Hawaiian BBQ Chicken bowl. For beverages, they have Can Soda, fountain drinks, bottle drinks and hand crafted drinks. The ingredients always taste fresh. The interior of the restaurant is clean, modern and simple with cozy booths. Prices are reasonable and the service is always friendly. It has been my go to Poke place for the past couple of years. I definitely recommend trying them out.

Staff are friendly and fish is always fresh. This one of my favorite spots in Long Beach. As gym bro the portions are great too.

The quality of the fish is very reliable, large portions and reasonably priced. I get the 3 scoop poke bowl, 1/2 spring mix, 1/2 brown rice. You can get spicy versions of all the fish like Tuna Lava and Blazing Salmon, but my favorite is to get just the raw fish options and have them mix it up for you with one, a few, or all of their delicious sauces like kimchi sauce, ponzu, wasabi citrus or spicy mayo. These are large portions, great value, lots of fish and condiment options, lots of base options (I think this is the only place that I have seen kelp noodles as a base option). Everything tastes authentic and fresh. They do a great job. They even have hot items like spam musubi and miso soup and unique drink options like lychee lemonade. Highly recommend getting the app so you can earn your rewards. Last time I got a free miso soup and the time before that I got a spam musubi for $1.

This poke place always hits the spot. The fish selection is super fresh with so many options, and the sauce choices are bomb too. There are so many sauce/fish combinations that I rarely order the same bowl twice. Everything is customizable, flavorful, and consistently good. Perfect when you're craving something fresh, filling, and full of flavor. You can always ask for more or less sauce depending on your preference. We came during their BOGO 50% off deal and got two large poke bowls for only $28. It was delicioussssss

Amazing place, food and service. Several booths inside and also bathroom if you need to use it. Prices are reasonable and portions are good too.

We absolutely love love love this place! We have tried so many different poke places and this is by far the best one! We have been here soooo many times and it has never disappointed! Service is great and food is always so fresh. The flavors are amazing too! They have a few booths inside if you decide to eat there. Also, get their app because they are always dropping good deals there like buy one bowl and get the second one half off. Anyways, don't waste time looking for a good poke place just run to Ahipoki!

I posted menu pics before but I didn't see them. Good fresh poke here. And now they have mini poke bowls for $10. They also had $10 off a bowl when ordering online and signing up for rewards.

I'm in LOVE! So glad my son was craving a spam musubi. We were in the area, I did a quick Yelp search and found Ahipoki. There's plenty of seating inside and customer service was super friendly, great vibes, nice smiles, great attitudes! I love that place offers poke and a musubi menu!!! Our unagi and spam musubi hit the spot!! Ahipoki is located in the Ralphs shopping center with plenty of parking, restroom is in the corner and is available for use. We will definitely be visiting again to try out their other menu options!!!

One of the best Poke spots in Long Beach!

Fresh decor, helpful signage itemizing options, efficient team, clean - Ahipoke stands out above the rest. Team members Stefano & Logan guided me through the ordering process with a smile and inspiring attitude. They were unphased by changes in the order and knew how to accommodate with ease. - I tried unagi musubi for the first time and it melted in my mouth - 2 scoop small is quite plentiful and priced accurately - fish is fresh (fav- salmon) - variety of sauces (fav- Wasabi citrus) - variety of garnishes that tie the meal together Plenty of parking spots & you can pre-order your meal and grab-n-go. Overall an excellent experience.

I don't often eat poke, but my once in a blue moon craving was absolutely satiated at Ahipoki. I feel like there's not much of a difference a 1 scoop bowl vs. a 2 scoop bowl - the bowl size remains the same, but they do load you up on all the toppings. Here, a regular ole crab salad doesn't count as a scoop which was such a nice surprise. Instead it counts as one of their toppings, as does the seaweed salad. You can get up to 16 toppings if you so choose. What makes Ahipoki stand out is flavorful the bowl ends up tasting. The fish selection has so many flavors and varieties to choose from. It also helps that every other step involves drizzling more sauce on the bowl as you work your way down the counter. Ahipoki was a nice treat after a long hiatus from eating poke.

Shrimp mini bowl with hardly any rice.

The food USE to be good; however, the new employees seem to be rationing the portions. The prices have not decreased yet the portion a have.

My go to poke spot ! Has never disappointed me. The variety of proteins is great and they always have some spicy proteins which are actually spicy! Always great customer service and clean inside. The price is also worth the amount of food you get, I never leave this place hungry

mini bowl with unagi
Van V.

Mini bowls were 9 dollars and the portions were pretty good. The mini bowls consisted of one protein, one base, and five toppings. The one scoop was a good amount but do not upcharge for unagi. They give you a tiny little slice and make you pay extra for it. Fish was fresh and the premade Hawaiian poke was flavorful and delicious. Staff were friendly the and line moved quick.

Do you still offer the plant based tuna as a protein?

I was told that all their sauces were gluten free. Is this true?

Do they offer curbside pick-up?

We offer online ordering for quick and easy pickup however not curbside.

Hi! do you still offer unagi?

Which sauces are vegan?

Hi Chelsea, The only sauce that isn't vegan is our Spicy Creamy sauce.

How can I get a poke bowl during the quarantine? What's up with the online ordering? It doesn't seem to work.

Hi, We are re-opening Long Beach on Thursday!

Are there new hours during quarantine?? If so, what are they?

Hi, we’re temporary closed. We don’t know yet when we will open. Maybe end of April if things gets better. Thank you

Can you guys cook the tuna?

Yes we can!

I have been to Hawaii. A friend of mine won a give away by stuffing a ballot box at a grocery…read morestore, and then he gave me the plus one ticket. Was it a trip gotten via ill ways? Back then I did not think of that. And now that I do, I say the breeze of Hawaii would help anyone understand that what he did was a youth Indiscretion, like going for a swim in the cloak of darkness while only wearing a lei. Going to Back Home in Lahaina was not a trip back to the Big Island, I won't say that, but it was a moment of joy inspired heavily by a Hawaiian decor that both bordered on the tragically kitsch and the whimsically fun depending on where you stood or sat. But the true treasure of this Hawaiian micro-isle is their fare-- no doubt about that. After the meal my friend Conrad and I went to the front of the house, where they have the to go section. This is where the kitsch became most circus-y. Although, I did not clip everyhing, I did clip a make your own lei kit, hawaiian stickers, and other things that make the place feel like a tourist trap for Hawaiian hopefuls. For me, the tawdry lessened the impact of the Aloha I heard from the dining room. In sharp contrast, the main dining room had this mural of a whale coming out of deep blue water with Hawaiian florals on the edge of the land that was more transportive to the land where coconuts fall from palm trees and hula skirts are a must for every closet. The main room dining room also had these string lights and sphere paper lamps that made me feel like I was eating at a night market where I could see the stars of a Hawaiian skiy but it was both day time, and there was a roof above me. The food was the situation that needs to be address though, with great respect and admiration because almost every bite was supremely good. My friend Conrad and I first shared a Lahaina Platter- basically their appetizer platter or to be Hawaiian their pupu platter, and please do not go for the easy joke it is not that funny and really kind of base and gross, if the wrong person is making it. The must of the spot, unsurprisingly, is their Lahaina fried chicken. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and kind of like karage chicken but different with the spices and flavors and ocean fronts of Hawaii. I know I did not make sense but I gotta believe that Hawaiian culture made the dish great and Hawaiian culture is partly define by waterfront property. My favorite things from the dish were the Lumpia which are often described as Filipino eggrolls. The pork meat was flavorful, the paper wrapping was on point, like wonderfully thin yet still structurally strong, not crispy, more firm with crisp. The Cinderella story of the day was the spam musubi. The saltiness of the seaweed was present but not in an overblown way, the sweetness of their teriyaki sauce carried savory notes that uplifted the sweet notes, in a wonderful way, their sticky rice was textbook fluffy and fabulous. Overall, I would nitpick flaws. And for this review I do not feel like finding the wrong cracks on a whole coconut skin. My main dish was their bbq grilled chicken plate. I could not finish everything at the restaurant. I had cold left overs at home and they hit the spot in this way that really earned my respect, because cold left overs still holding strong that is like seeing a shooting star while you enoy Mai Tais in a white beach---- living the improbable dream. What was best out of the bunch was their Lahaina chicken. And again, even though the fried goodness had withdrawn, the flavor and textured that remained was still, in a way, intact and in some ways optimal. I just shivered admitting that. I was happy with the food overall, and want to communicate that it was a strong showing for a place that sits within a strip mall. Do not just a shore by the lack of its crashing wave sounds. I also love the name of this place. Like I went back to Lahaina, has personality. Like it is a name that drips from the tongue even though it is long. Pluis, saying multiple times in a conversation makes the place feel important. Conrad had some cheesecake with jello and he loved it. I did not try it, but it was unique and I did not think such a dessert existed. The crust was walnut, I would have thought it would be Macadamia. I definetetly love this place and want to back again soon!

The friendly staff and the amazing interior was so welcoming alongside the well priced drinks with all different games on each TV made this place feel amazing. Once I started off with the spam musubi, I was surprised by how it was bland and un flavorful it was. Even though it had sauce on top it tasted like I just had rice with meat as it was lacking the seasoning. Our entrees arrived, which looked phenomenal, but was then again hit with blandness even though it was smothered in sauce. The burger was bland and the Mac salad tasted like mush. Maybe some changes to the sauce and adding more seasoning may help these amazing looking dishes as I wanted to enjoy them but sadly couldn't.

The Bamboo Club is special. Hands down worth the trip if you are anywhere near OC or LA, this place…read moreis a must! Staff is super friendly and helpful, tiki vibes are on point and you really feel like you are on your own piece of island. We came by for the brunch on the weekend, and the food was fresh, made to order and super tasty. Obviously the tiki drinks are always on point, typically strong and made with aloha! This is by far our go-to tiki place in Long Beach, it's extremely clean and it always makes for a very special time. The Bamboo Club is an outstanding tiki bar, and I really wish they had their own tiki mug to sell because they have center piece waiting on our shelf! We did however buy an anniversary tall glass that will do for now, but we just love our tiki mugs and love the Bamboo Club so much. We can't wait to go back! Mahalo Bamboo Club for being the best!!

We recently visited the Bamboo Club for the first time…read more They have their own parking lot, but it is small and was full when we arrived. I got lucky and found a spot right out front on Anaheim Street. It shouldn't be too hard to find parking on nearby side streets. We visited on a weekday at 5pm and took advantage of their great happy hour, which runs all night on Monday and Tuesday, and from 3pm to 6pm Wednesday through Friday. Happy hour includes quite a few food specials, and $2 off tiki cocktails. They also have a tiki marketplace in the parking lot on the first Saturday of every month. We sat at the bar since we enjoy talking to the bartenders. Other seating options include a dining area in front with high top tables, and tiki hut booths behind the bar. The booth cushions are pretty beat up. They also have an open air patio out back with a lot of tables. There is another dining room between the patio and the front of the house that has minimal décor and mainly has murals on the walls. The overall tiki décor is somewhere between ok and good. The atmosphere feels like a neighborhood tiki bar with dive bar undertones. We started out with a few appetizers. The veggie egg rolls ($6 during happy hour) were good, and the sauce had a slight heat. We also had the shishito peppers ($8) which were a generous portion and had a very good unami sauce on them. I started out with the Fluffy Banana cocktail (White Rum, Cinnamon, Lemon, Coconut, Banana Liqueur, Bitters, $13 minus $2 happy hour discount). It had a great foam top rising above the edge of the glass. It was balanced with a light to medium sweetness, with coconut up front and banana underneath. She started out with the Bye Bye Ladies (Pineapple, Coconut Cream, Lemon, Tito's Vodka, Trader Vic's Macadamia Nut Liqueur, Shaved Macadamia Nut, $14 minus $2 happy hour discount). This was balanced, but on the much sweeter side with coconut and pineapple up front, with a little macadamia in the background. We ordered more food, and I had the Bamboo Classic Burger ($10 during happy hour). This was a solid tasty burger, and came with a healthy portion of french fries. She had the BBQ pulled jackfruit sandwich ($18). It is nice that they have some vegetarian options on the menu, and she enjoyed it. The Shoyu BBQ sauce had a little spiciness, and the coconut chili slaw definitely had some heat. Next, I had the Fire Walker (Del Maguey Mezcal, Lime, Pineapple, Passion Fruit, Falernum, Habanero Bitters, $14 minus $2 happy hour discount). The mezcal was a little bolder than I usually like, but it was good with light passion fruit flavor, and a nice kick from the habanero bitters. Her second drink was the Monkey Pod (Ron Del Barrilto Rum, Lime, Tamarind, Coconut, $13 minus $2 happy hour discount). It was balanced with tamarind and lime up front with coconut in the background. We had one last round and I got the Dr. Bamboo (Dr. Bird Jamaican Rum, 151 Rum, All-Spice, Prickly Pear, Cinnamon, $16). This one was my favorite. It is a little boozy, but balanced and lush with good allspice and pear flavor. It also feels like a generous pour. Her last cocktail was the Jungle Bird (Caruba Dark Jamaican Rum, Lime, Pineapple, Coconut Washed Campari, $14 minus $2 happy hour discount). This was also very good, and their version isn't as bitter as most. Our bartender Steph was awesome. He was very friendly, had great knowledge of the cocktail menu, and provided great service. He even let us try a little sample of one of his drink concoctions he was working on. Our evening here during happy hour was an absolute bargain. We had two appetizers, two entrees, and six cocktails, and the bill was just a bit over $100. One negative is that the men's room behind the bar is kind of gross and feels very inconsistent with the rest of the bar. It's very punk with stickers all over and it stinks. The bottom line is that the food and drinks are pretty good, and they're an excellent value during happy hour. Service was great, and the atmosphere is ok. We would definitely return during happy hour.
