Grab some for late snacks. Parking was abit challenge since it's Sunday and a lot of families are outing. Easy order over kiosks, menu is small with plenty of choices for topping/filling. Cost wise is reasonable and quality is fresh and well seasoned. The place is clean and well organized, plenty of community seatings both indoor and outdoor.

Came here two days previously, and returned. This second time around we got more for others in our party. Everybody enjoyed them. For us it's not a meal on its own but a great appetizer. Can't really go wrong and a nice snack as we waited for our meals from other restaurants in the food hall. Worth pointing out that all three kids in our group ate their onigiri without any trouble. This is despite two of them being notoriously picky eaters.

Good spot for quick and delicious bites! Originally tried this at Rodeo 39, and I'm so glad there's a location in LBX now. This visit I got the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, regular tuna with mayo, pork belly, and KBBQ. Loved them all but would say my top choices would be the spicy salmon and the tuna options! Even though ordering is through a self-serve kiosk, the worker was still kind enough to ask if i had any questions. Overall, recommend!

Perfect handheld snacks to bring to the beach. We particularly like the spicy salmon, kbbq, and pork belly. They are $4.50/ea. Wish they have specials - ie. 6 for $24

First time trying this type of dish. I've always when it in the anime's I watch. The rice was cooked perfectly as well as the meat that they stuffed these in. Overall very tasty. The service was quick! Lady at the front desk was nice. Ambiance is at the lbx eating outside is very relaxing. It's also very clean. Highly recommended this place.

I was at The Hangar with some relatives and Tenori caught my eye. When I asked my family, they said they definitely recommended it if I wanted to give it a try. At one of the kiosks, I ordered a spicy salmon and a spicy tuna. I waited to the side and after a few short minutes, my order was ready to go. Once I was seated, I dug into my food. It was soooo good! The fillings had a perfect flavor + texture as well as the rice. The food didn't last very long since I ate it all right away. I also bought a side of eel sauce which complimented everything really well. The overall experience of ordering and enjoying the food was very quick and easy! What I expected when I ordered is exactly what I got. If you happen to be around Tenori, I would definitely recommend it!

I have been on an onigiri kick lately. I was having a day date in Long Beach and decided to check this place out. Tenori is located in the Hangar food hall. They do have other locations around the OC area. We were able to get parking rather easily and there are plenty of seats and tables. We went with the 3 pack of onigiri. We ordered two pork belly and one spicy salmon. I really enjoy the pork belly. It had a good amount of pork belly stuff between the rice. The flavors were great. I like the way the rice was cooked and how they added the seasoning and seaweed for the added crunch. We both agree, we would come back for the pork belly. The spicy salmon was okay. It was more fishy but I did enjoy the extra kick of spice. Overall, if you're cravings for onigiri or just a light snack or meal, this is a spot to hit up.

Tenori is the absolute best!! I've tried a handful of different onigiri places and Tenori is hands down my favorite. I first tried Tenori at Rodeo 39 in Stanton and loved it, so I was excited to see that a new location opened inside The Hanger at the Long Beach Exchange. A great thing about these locations is that they're inside a food hall which opens up more options for you to get a variety of food. There's also ample seating and clean bathrooms. I like to get the 3-pack and mix up the proteins. I've tried every protein on the menu and I think my favorites are Tuna Mayo, Spicy Tuna, and Pork Belly. The Mentaiko is very flavorful but also very spicy!! Some of my friends argue it doesn't taste very fresh. They have self-ordering kiosks that make ordering really quick and easy. I've never waited more than 10 minutes for my order! Definitely check this place out at least once if you're a big onigiri fan.

So good!!! Love the rice balls here. The furikake is crispy and gives the rice flavor. I had the salmon and the KBBQ. Both were delicious.

Their Onigiri was good! It's a takeout stand located at the Hangar so there's not much interaction between the customers and the staff, especially because you order at a kiosk but they were very quick to get us our order. We got 5 Onigiris and 1 Spam Masubi and they were pretty good, although I will say that it did feel a little pricey. Our total was over 30 dollars and I felt that the price was a little steep, especially because it wasn't fresh tuna like I was expecting. They also don't have very many drink options if you wanted a one stop shop. It was very delicious however and is especially good served still hot. The hangar itself can be a little busy and hard to find seating but it was more take the day we went.

This was my first time at Tenori and I was in the mood to eat something savory but wanted to keep it on the healthier side. I stumped across Tenori and noticed they specialize in onigiri. This was perfect because they had a variety of options and the portion size was perfect. The onigiri weren't too big nor too small, but perfect enough to have room left over if you wanted dessert or try another store. I wasn't sure how many I wanted and the cashier was kind enough to tell me that it was a better deal if I got a bundle of 3. I don't see the pricing/deal on Yelp so I wish I took a picture to upload. I believe it was 3 onigiri for $11.50. The price point for that bundle made it all worth it. I got the pork belly, kbbq, and honey shrimp. These were the top 3 recommended options from the cashier and I wasn't disappointed. They were all really good! The pork belly tastes just like cha siu (the kind you experience at a chinese restaurant), the kbbq reminded me of Yoshinoya's beef (which I really like), and the honey shrimp was the best. It was flavorful, savory, and you could taste each shrimp as you bit into it. I enjoyed all 3 and would recommend it to anyone. I'm looking forward to coming back to try the other options!

Let me tell you that this restaurant is SLEPT ON. Average price onigiri with amazing flavors! I had the spicy salmon, KBBQ, and tuna mayo onigiris and they were all amazing (favorite being the kbbq). The rice has a good texture that pairs well with the sweetness of the furikake and the crispiness of the seaweed. Amazing onigiris. The staff are friendly and the store is neat with a professional atmosphere as well. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

I had the Tenori rice treat with pork belly, house sauce, furikake, and nori--and it was really good! The pork belly was soft and flavorful, and the sauce added a nice sweet and salty taste. The furikake and seaweed gave it a great crunch and flavor. It was pretty crowded since it was a Friday night, but the food came out fresh and hot. Worth the wait! I'd definitely come back again for a quick and tasty bite.

I opted for the Wagyu lunch menu along with a few sushi rolls. The food was good, but as a huge Korean BBQ fan, I'd say the BBQ itself was just average. For the price, I probably would've rather spent the money on the all-you-can-eat option at one of my favorite spots. It just didn't quite satisfy that Korean BBQ craving. The sushi, on the other hand, was the standout. The rolls were fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. I'd definitely order those again. I also came during happy hour and was a little surprised they don't offer a happy hour menu, that would've been a nice touch. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and has a great date-night vibe. The service was another highlight. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I'd come back for the sushi, but probably skip the BBQ next time.

Did anyone come over to acknowledge it? Nope. We just sat there watching the host staff do absolutely nothing with urgency. But okay, we were starving, so we stayed. We ordered big -- like, embarrassingly big, probably 80% of the menu plus sake -- because we wanted to give this place a real shot. And look, some of it was actually great. But some of it was not edible. Not "not my taste," not edible. So we sent those dishes back, which is a completely normal thing to do at a restaurant that charges these prices. What happened next genuinely shocked me. The chefs took it as a personal attack. Rude comments, visibly annoyed, staring us down from the kitchen for the rest of the meal. We couldn't even enjoy the good food because the whole vibe became hostile. It were so uncomfortable that we honestly just wanted to leave. $350. That's what we spent. And we left feeling like we ruined someone's night by simply expecting edible food. The disappointment isn't even about the dishes it's the attitude from the front staff all the way back to the kitchen. You can train a team. You can't teach humility, and you damn sure can't teach someone to care. Do not recommend.

A really nice young woman who rang me up and handed me my bag of goods. When I got home, I was pleased to see that they had separated the Katsu from the curry sauce, so my meat didn't end up being soggy. Their curry sauce is different from most curry houses. There are some herbs in it that I can't put my finger on, but I love it because it's not like any of the others. Chicken was juicy and rice was fluffy. I also like their kizami ginger which had a nice solid crunch. Even though it took me a while to pick up my food, it was still nice and warm when I sat down to eat it. I honestly just expected them to throw some panko on top of a scoop of ice cream, but Te-Buru's take is (somehow) baking a tempura crust right onto a giant scoop of ice cream and then cutting up the scoop into wedges. The ice cream surprisingly did not melt all that quickly either, and the matcha flavor was on point.
