I loved the service. Everyone from the bar to restaurant were top notch The place is beautiful but the food was overpriced and also bland.

5 stars was for our server John R. He exemplified exceptional customer service and we very much appreciated his humor and consistent kind service. Food was good as well- Steaks. Salmon. Creamed spinach, mushrooms and the key lime was sublime.

We heard so many great things about Acre 41, so we decided to give it a try for the dinner portion of date night. Upon walking in, we were not greeted. Like at all. The hostess looked at us then proceeded having a conversation with another worker there. We waited patiently until another couple (white) came in and they were instantly greeted and asked if they had a reservation. That's when it dawned on me and I asked if this was a whites only establishment as we must have missed the sign. The other worker she was talking to earlier appeared embarrassed and seated us. We then sat for 15 min with nothing. Nothing. My husband, ever so patient and an extender of grace, said maybe they're busier than they expected to be on a Thursday. Finally someone comes and takes our order. For the amount of time waiting and the poor service, I expected to be blown away by the food. Sadly, while everything was cooked well from a technical standpoint, it lacked seasoning in a major way and no one came to check on us through the meal so I couldn't even ask for something like steak sauce to try and make it palatable. However, we did get a couple of free apps. Yay? Idk. Will never be back and don't recommend for literally anything.

Incredible customer service! Came here for brunch and to commemorate our 6 year wedding anniversary. Food was incredible! And the staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond in making our day even more special. Even gifting us a happy anniversary cappuccino, dessert and a card Shout out to Julia and Melanie, thank you for making this so special!

Staff were friendly, prompt, and happy to help. It's got a nice, nuanced aesthetic that feels a little more authentic than a normal hotel restaurant. My salmon was great and the whipped potatoes really hit the spot.

I really wanted to love brunch at Acre 41, especially since we were wrapping up a great stay at the AC Hotel. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite meet expectations. We went for brunch on our last day and I ordered the Wagyu steak and eggs, which came with potatoes and toast, along with the blooming tea. The manager let us know the steak had been accidentally burnt and was being remade--so we were prepared for a bit of a wait. But when it finally arrived, the steak had to be sent back. It was burnt on the outside, completely raw and cold on the inside. Even after the second attempt, the temperature still wasn't right, but we were too hungry to wait any longer and just ate what we could. We picked around the edible parts and left the rest. To their credit, both the manager and our server were attentive and apologetic throughout, and they explained there had been a problem with the temperature probe for steaks that morning. Their communication was appreciated, but it didn't fully make up for the meal itself. The eggs and toast were solid, no complaints there. But the potatoes--unfortunately--were nearly inedible. They seemed to be smashed red potatoes that were either overcooked or burnt, far too tough and crunchy. I've had smashed potatoes before, and these just didn't work. On a positive note, the blooming tea was lovely--visually and in flavor. The pot kept it hot the whole time, and it was a small bright spot in the meal. Our server also offered a complimentary dessert due to the steak issues, so I tried the bread pudding. Sadly, it fell flat too, though the ice cream it came with was good. The restaurant is located on the Otis Hotel side (it shares space with the AC Hotel), and the setting is beautiful--very polished and modern. I'd absolutely stay at the hotel again. As for Acre 41, maybe I'll try it for dinner next time and hope for a better experience. I really do want to give them another chance, but I hope this feedback is taken into consideration--it could've been a great meal with just a bit more care in execution.

The ambience is great, and our server was kind. But the food was just lacking. Of the six people at our table we had steak, shrimp and grits, a meatball appetizer, and a few other things. For the automatic gratuity and the cost of each entrée I expected there to be more flavor.

A day to walk along the Drag lead us to enjoy lunch at Acre 41. It's located inside the Otis Hotel Austin and the staff made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant felt a bit upper scale with a nice decor. I ordered the Acre 41 Club. Upon looking around I noted they had a private room on the second level. There was a large bar but noticed no TV's so not a place to watch a game, but there was another bar on the second floor in the AC Hotel Austin. My sandwich arrived and looked very presentable and tasty. It had great flavor with the smoked turkey, bibb lettuce, bacon, smoked gouda, and garlic mayo. It looked like the turkey was grilled which added a magical touch in my mouth. It came with a side of fries. All was very good.

We came to Acre on 2/2/25 for Sunday brunch - before leaving Austin to head back home. Overall, the experience was OK. It's on the corner and attached to the AC/Omni hotel. Accordingly, bathrooms are located in the hotel lobby. The interior of the restaurant was thoughtfully decorated, with some music-themed artwork. Our primary server was patient and kind, but at some point in the meal, when I asked for assistance, she sent over a different server. The wagyu meatball was a delicious appetizer. The entire table enjoyed it. You only get 4 bite-size ish meatballs and a bunch of sauce and bread for sopping. The 13 y/o ordered the tres leches French toast, bacon and eggs over easy. She thought it was just OK. But it's hard to compare when she just had a very jazzed up French toast from Serenade the previous day. We didn't get much of a tres leches flavor though The 8 y/o ordered the buttermilk pancakes, a side of bacon and fruit. Pancakes were large and fluffy and you get 4! I ordered the egg white omelette, which I found to be well balanced and flavorful. The potatoes def needed ketchup. I also ordered sausage but they forgot to bring it out. Nonetheless, they bought it out a few minutes after I asked where it was. Husband's meal was the most problematic. He ordered the Wagyu flat iron (medium) and eggs (over easy). The steak was more on the rare to medium rare side. When he pointed it out, they said they would fire up another steak for him. That second one was even more under. Our primary server then proceeded to tell us that because it was Wagyu, medium would not be the same light pink as a normal steak. This only ticked us off more because we eat/order/make plenty of Wagyu steak and have never encountered this before. When we told her that was not the case, she said ok fine. I can have them make another one. We politely declined since there was no guarantee that third time would be the charm . They were accommodating and took it off our bill since all my husband was able to eat were his eggs and half of one smashed potato. I don't think we'll be coming back here on our next visit to Austin.

Updated HH Menu (different from website).

Excellent Happy Hour! They do have an updated HH menu vs what is on their website, but still good. Reasonably priced, nice atmosphere! Definitely worth checking out while in this area.

Drink choice: Ginger Sunrise which consisted of carrot, ginger, turmeric, orange. For my meal, I ordered the " Wagyu Flat Iron & Eggs" which has Wagyu flat iron steak, eggs (your way) and breakfast potatoes. Great customer service as well. My waiter was very attentive.

The food was great, would love for them to have more veganism options but it's a Stakehouse so it was expected. Ambience and customer service was in point and the Brussels sprouts were delicious.

I'm writing this while we're still here because the service has been that amazing. Now onto the food... My wife ordered the sausage, and she's absolutely obsessed with it. It's technically on the starters menu, but she always gets it as her main course because it's just that good. My son and I both ordered the 20-ounce Koji Coffee-Crusted Cowboy Ribeye, cooked medium-rare. When I say it melts in your mouth, I mean it. The coffee crust adds the perfect amount of texture and crunch without overpowering the steak. I highly recommend it. For sides, we shared the mac and cheese and the corn crème brûlée, and both paired perfectly with our steaks. We also started with the pork chop bites, which continue to be an absolute home run. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the applesauce takes the flavor to another level. The only minor critique I have is that the bread wasn't quite as soft and warm as it usually is. But honestly, that's such a small detail in what was otherwise an outstanding meal. To finish, we had the Vanilla Orange Cheesecake and the Lemon Bar. The Lemon Bar was delicious, although I wish the center hadn't been quite so cold. The toasted marshmallow on top, however, was absolutely perfect. The Orange Cheesecake? Incredible. Total Dreamsicle vibes, and I would order it again in a heartbeat. What really made this evening unforgettable, though, was Alex. He has officially set the standard for what exceptional service looks like. Every server I have from here on out has some big shoes to fill. Perry's, if I can't have Alex next time, I hope the service is held to the same incredibly high standard because he truly made this experience special. Overall, Perry's came out swinging tonight. I can't honestly call it a perfect 10 because of a couple of tiny details, but it was absolutely a perfect 5-star experience. Thank you for an unforgettable evening and for making my son's birthday one to remember!

Our server, Delina, was so sweet and incredibly helpful with her recommendations based on what my husband and I were in the mood for. It was a sunny and humid day, and since we had a full night ahead of us, we didn't want anything too heavy. We started with the spicy tuna tartare, which was amazing! The complimentary bread and butter were also mouthwatering--I honestly wanted another roll. For drinks, we asked for something refreshing, and Delina delivered. My husband had a cocktail that reminded him of an Aperol Spritz with a mojito twist, while the watermelon hibiscus margarita was absolutely perfect for the weather. We shared a Caesar salad and ordered the Dean's Style steak with the sauce on the side. This was the one dish that left me a little disappointed. The steak wasn't as juicy as I expected when cutting into the center, but thankfully, having the sauce on the side helped elevate the flavor. I highly recommend the truffle béarnaise sauce--it was delicious. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and Delina truly made our evening enjoyable. I paid the tip and received no compensation for this review. I'm focusing only on the dishes I personally ate. We had a 6 PM Sunday reservation, and the restaurant was quiet and calm. We were seated near the front, but I saw several dining areas -- all classic, clean-lined, and intimate. Our server, Adam, was exceptional from start to finish. His timing, attention to detail, and genuine care elevated the entire evening. He made thoughtful recommendations for cocktails and dessert, and every suggestion was spot on. Cocktails I asked for something light, and Adam suggested a summery twist on their cucumber martini. He added elderflower, and it was refreshing and delicious. We also tried the Divorce Papers (light, slightly sweet, with an earthy undertone) and the Dreamsicle, which is sweet, fun, and honestly as much an experience as it is a drink. While we waited, we were served a small blintz bite with caviar -- a lovely bite to start the meal. Starters We ordered the crabcake and the Caprese salad, both easily shareable. * The crabcake is one of the best I've had in Austin -- large, packed with jumbo and shredded crab, and seasoned perfectly. The aioli and fresh lemon made every bite better. * The Caprese truly surprised me. I expected heirloom tomatoes and fresh mozzarella, but the Sicilian pesto with Marcona almonds elevated it in an unexpected way. The pesto was thick, chunky, and incredibly flavorful -- it tied everything together beautifully. Balsamic and olive oil are added tableside, and the dish is as delicious as it is pretty. We were also served Brazilian cheese bread, which had a sharp cheese flavor and a great chew. Mains & Sides I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon, cooked rare. It had a perfect peppery crust and a tender center -- exactly what you want from a fine steakhouse. For sides, we shared: * Crispy Brussels sprouts -- roasted through, very crispy, and served with walnuts, feta, shaved prosciutto, and balsamic. Best when you get a little of everything in one bite. * Truffle sweet potatoes -- the first serving had undercooked layers, but the staff handled my feedback professionally and quickly brought a new dish. The remade version was delicious, with a great balance of flavors. Dessert Adam recommended the Carajillo, an after-dinner cocktail made tableside. If you enjoy espresso, get this -- the presentation alone is worth it. We tried two desserts: * Crème brûlée -- large enough to share, topped with berries, with a perfectly thin sugar top. * Flambéed strawberry shortcake -- made tableside by Enrique, who explained each step as he prepared it. The house poundcake is buttery but balanced by the ice cream and strawberries. Not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Also very shareable. Overall A great steakhouse should deliver on food, ambience, service, and drinks -- and J-Prime Steakhouse absolutely does. I had multiple moments where I paused just to appreciate the flavors. Adam made the evening fun, and the entire team ensured the experience felt special. I left wanting to come back and try more of their popular dishes.

My daughter's Shirley Temple was perfect with her favorite cherries! To start, we had the Hot and Crispy Country Italian Bread and the San Daniele Prosciutto and Burrata. I would be happy to eat this combination for the rest of my life! My daughter ordered the 1/2 portions of Capelletti "Bishop's Hats" and Handmade Potato Gnocchi "Gratinata" after conferring with Jacob due to her odd food allergy. I even said that they should have a Michelin star! We hope to be back in Austin to experience Red Ash again. Highly recommend this restaurant.

There's usually something on the menu for everyone, which makes it such an easy choice for almost any occasion. Their happy hour is one of my favourites in Austin. The mini martinis are served on a martini tree, which makes the experience especially fun, and they also make an excellent dirty martini--perfectly ice cold and well balanced. The beef tartare is another standout and easily one of the best in town. It's always topped with an impressively large egg yolk, which I love. Murray's is an easy recommendation for anyone in East Austin looking for a relaxed, lively atmosphere and a satisfying meal.

We were blown away by the quality of food and the service. Juliet, our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu. My salmon was delicious, the Chicken Francese amazing and the Chicken Pot Pie unique and great, to name a few. Since we were there during happy hour, bottles of wine were half off-a great deal--and portions were very large--another welcome surprise. Knowing we were celebrating a birthday, a manager brought out a tower of seven mini glasses of champagne- a great touch. The Sticky Pudding on the dessert menu also a hit. While a bit out of the way, tucked in a neighborhood, this spot is worth the trip. We all plan on returning soon.
