This place was amazing! My friend and I went directly to BOA after a race at COTA for a late lunch. We definitely felt a bit underdressed but the staff treated us like kings! We started with their Cesar salad which they prepare table side, where they make the dressing. The meat was perfectly cooked medium rare and the mashed potatoes paired perfectly. I can't wait to be back in Austin to go back.

Our Bachelorette party had our farewell dinner at BOA and it was a phenomenal experience! The service was extraordinary and the food and drinks were absolutely divine! The bride to be was so pleased with dinner! The restaurant is dimly lit but that provides a perfect relaxed atmosphere. I would say dress to impress! The location is convenient to walk around afterwards and explore local bars and nightlife. We had a large party and I appreciate the ability to pay separately via the app!

Service and quality of food here is a 10/10! Our server Patrick was awesome and there were other people tending to our table as well. The Jumbo Lump Crab Cake had a lot of difference flavors. The salad on top was fresh and had a vinegrette type dressing and the mayo sauce at the bottom was rich and creamy. These flavors go really well together with the crab cake and the crab itself was good with the crispy crust. The Shrimp Scampi was realllyy good! I love the lemony butter sauce at the bottom and the shrimp was huge! Cooked well and comes peeled! The bread was kind of chewy and tough though. The marinated skirt steak with fries is a good portion, lots of fries! I love these fresh fries they are not oily and perfectly crisp. These are fries that you feel good eating! Skirt steak itself was marinated really well, the flavors are strong! I had it cooked medium rare, which was perfect. Overall, great ambiance, fast service, and great qualify food.

We came here for happy hour for the second time after a while and felt quite a decline in their food quality. Their food is such good value. We ordered the tuna tartare tacos, the Wagyu tacos, the table side Caesar salad, the dinner rolls, the wings and the Wagyu meatball. The quality of the shell in the tacos definitely declined from the last time I tried it. It definitely tasted like it had been fried in oil that hadn't been changed for a while. I also was very excited to have the zero proof user Margarita for the second time, but unfortunately, at this time there was no flavor of you at all. It was just plain sour Seapro margarita that didn't taste like much other than lime and water. My favorite thing this time around was the dinner rolls and the Asian wings. They were melt in your mouth. I would still come here for their happy hour burger cause that alone is a good deal.

I really wanted to like this place, especially since everyone I spoke to had a positive experience here. However, it was just okay. I did love the ambiance, and it's very vibey and pretty inside. I ordered the following: Burrata and heirloom tomatoes: 3/5 Tomatoes were good, the burrata was just okay and didn't have much flavor. 15 Day Dry Aged Bone-In: 1/5 The meat quality was fantastic, but unfortunately, that was the only highlight of the steak. I ordered it medium-rare, and the steak came out medium-well. The server came by, saw the temp, and asked if it was okay. I asked for it to be redone as it was overcooked. When the second steak arrived, it was rare. My partner and I were hungry and really didn't want to sit around to have the steak redone for a third time, so we just gave up and ate it. Given this steakhouse's reputation and pricing, I expected the steak to be perfectly cooked to the right temperature. Interestingly, they couldn't cook it to medium-rare. The steak also didn't have much flavor. There's so much potential here, since I really loved the actual quality of the meat. Lobster Fra Diavolo: 2/5 Just okay. Tasted like regular spaghetti and was pretty sweet. Corn Creme Brulee: 4/5 This was the best out of all the other dishes. Very sweet and creamy! Paper Crane: 3/5 Tasty, but didn't love that it was super sweet. Overall, the service was good and I loved the interior. However, it's concerning that they couldn't cook a medium-rare steak. I was also given a streaky plate with oily wipe marks on it which didn't make me feel great about the cleanliness of the restaurant. Another thing to note is that some of the prices on my menu were different from the prices on my partner's menu.

The restaurant itself is beautiful with a grand wooden door entrance - and a understated but elevated vibe within. Firstly, the service was so kind, attentive, and personable. Our waiter guided us through the menu, and directed us to the dishes that best fit what we were looking for. However, we were not blown away by the cocktails or the food. We split the Caesar salad, Roasted Bone Marrow appetizer, Rib Eye, center cut Filet and the chipotle lime corn side. The Roasted Bone Marrow was a highlight. The Caesar salad was made at the table, and was festive in presentation. The Rib Eye was the disappointment as it did not seem the quality we would expect from a restaurant like this. Definitely pricey, but for environment and service it was a fun splurge. My only service qualm is we were asked if we were celebrating something, and we shared we were. Usually if a restaurant asks, they follow-up with a candle or a small token to make it feel celebratory, but not the case here.

Hands down the best steak I've ever had! BOA Steakhouse completely exceeded my expectations from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were impressed by the beautiful, modern decor: sleek, stylish, and upscale without feeling pretentious. We started with the Hamachi Crudo appetizer which was delicious. The three of us also shared the large format Porterhouse with Cajun blackened crust and it was absolute perfection, cooked flawlessly, bursting with flavor, and more than enough food for all of us. Pairing it with a 2012 Dominus Cabernet from their fantastic wine list made it an unforgettable meal! Prices were reasonable for the top tier quality and BOA has a wide variety of other meat selections and non meat items. The cocktails were awesome, especially the Skinny Margarita which was crisp, refreshing, and balanced just right. We also enjoyed their The service was outstanding! A very attentive, friendly, and professional team. A special shoutout to Sam, the General Manager, who came over personally to introduce himself and make sure everything was perfect, such a classy touch and greatly appreciated. BOA Steakhouse has officially become my new favorite steakhouse in Austin. If you're looking for top-tier food, impeccable service, and an exceptional atmosphere, this is the place!

I'm generally not a huge fan of high end chain steakhouses but BOA really didn't disappoint. The service was exceptional and the space is really sleek and beautiful. We were in for an early happy hour so we just did bites - steak frites, Thai chili wings, drinks, and cookies. Everything was solid. The wings were small but delicious, the drinks were better than expected, and the steak frites were pretty good, knowing the cut of beef you're getting with that order. The cookies were recommended and wow - they are exceptional. Overall really happy with the experience and it wasn't too pricey with happy hour included. Worth swinging by!

Had a really great experience here for a birthday dinner. This was my first time visiting. I really appreciated that everyone had the birthday card at the table upon arrival signifying that it was a celebration. There is a waiting area near the bar until your table is ready. I am not sure if you can eat there, but it was a nice touch instead of waiting outside or at the door. The food was amazing. Started with the AHI TUNA TARTARE and it was enough to share and very tasty. For dinner, I had the 6666 X BOA FOUR SIXES RANCH 18OZ RIBEYE with the bernaise sauce. Just wow! I can't wait to return for this. The cowboy steak was very good as well. For the sides, we tried the roasted asparagus, boujee baked potato, lobster Mac n cheese, and the truffle fries. The drinks were very good. The service was amazing. This is definitely a place that I would recommend for date night or birthdays.

I have dined at the been BOA Steakhouse on two separate occasions. My first experience was at their happy hour that is M-F from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the bar/lounge area. We were seated at a table in the bar area. They have a bar menu with some discounted food and beverage options. I ordered the Gloria's Margarita with Tequila Blanco, lime, lemon, orange liqueur and agave the Peaches n Dreams with Bandero tequila, peach, lime and tajin. We ordered all 3 tacos happy hour options that come with two tacos per order. They have the tuna tacos with avocados mousse, radish and cilantro, the king crab ceviche tacos with grapefruit and avocado, wagyu tacos with pico de gallo, avocado and cilantro. All three options were a taste bite with thoughtful ingredient combinations to fulfill our pallet. On the second occasion, we had a reservation but arrived to the restaurant an hour early and they were very accommodating and seated us promptly. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Started with the Fire and Smoke cocktail with del maguey puebla mezcal, pineapple, pink peppercorn, honey, firewater bitters. Then ordered the La Quebrada with gran centenario reposado tequila, aperol, passion fruit, lime, agave. This cocktail was a bit sweet for my taste and they quickly replaced it with another Fire and Smoke. Also tried the Smoke Show with knob creek rye, maple syrup, orange bitters, applewood smoke. It was served with a bottle of smoke that you could pour in the glass and it was a fun presentation to behold. Based on the recommendation of our server, we started with the goat cheese baklava with pistachios, black truffles, frisee. This wasn't even on my radar initially, but so glad we tried it as the crust was crisp and flaky and with the combination of the goat cheese and sweetness of the frisee salad, it made for a well balanced bite. Then we ordered the table side Caesar salad where they prepare the salad from scratch right by your table for a fun interactive experience. The recipe had some unique ingredients like worstiersahire sauce and Tabasco for a bold kick. Then for the main course ordered the Cajun Cowboy Ribeye prepared medium rare. There were so many options with sauces to choose from and we went with the herb butter and chimichuri sauces. It was a perfect size to split and it was grilled to perfection. The server used a torch to melt the butter pallet on top of the steak at our table. The meat was a bit inconsistent with some pieces being lean and others with marbling. I preferred the bites with more marbling. For a side we had the crème brûlée creamed corn prepared similar to the dessert with a candied top and very sweet flavor. The consistency almost reminded me of grits but very unique side. For dessert we had the bread pudding with a caramel sauce. It was brought to our table with a sparking candle that was so eye catching and a fun way to end the meal. The staff came by to check in on us and had a conversation with the manager. They were very attentive to every detail and addressed and resolved any issue that came up. Overall a very thoughtful and fulfilling dining experience with great interactive presentation, food, service and ambiance.

Dinner items 6666 steak ribeye 18oz, Australia Steak 14oz, Mac and cheese lobster and veggie.

This was an excellent experience! All the food was outstanding. The standouts were the 666 ribeye steak and Mac and cheese. All the food were cooked to perfection! I would definitely recommend this place to fiends. It was my 24th Anniversary and we truly enjoyed it. We actually went to the Mother's Day brunch the next day.

Just wow! And amazing night from start to finish! Sam and his team treated us like VIPs for our dinner. The ambiance is even better than the pictures show, which do a wonderful job of setting expectations. The place is not a stuffy high end steakhouse. Its hip and cool. Not too loud but just enough noise that helps you relax as if you're in a hip lounge after work. The staff was amazing! Special shout out to Davon our server. He was very knowledgeable and helped us make choices from a menu that could be overwhelming without the help of well versed servers. We were checked on by other staff that weren't assigned to our table, which we thought was a very nice touch. We noticed how they interacting across the different assigned tables without and signs of animosity which can be normal in many food service places. Sam, dont forget the tips we gave you for a prosperous marriage. Best wishes! Now to the food!!! Nothing was a miss. Just be careful choosing starters or you won't have room to finish your entree. We shared the deviled eggs with caviar, crab cake and table prepared Caesar salad. It was a nice show. Reminded me of being on a resort. For sides we shared mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Both were great! I felt like my grandma made both! Main dishes were the 16 oz NY strip Oscar style, Ora king salmon, spaghetti with wagyu meatballs and the 15 day dry aged ribeye. All mains were great! We got complimentary deserts for our anniversary and it was chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies with ice cream and a chocolate cake with a drizzle (I cant remember the name). I am not a desert person usually but since it was complimentary, I decided to indulge and WOW!! Im getting it next time I come. Overall its a great restaurant in a steakhouse landscape that can be a bit overcrowded with more of the same. Well this is not that. Boa Steak is in a good spot by itself and should be for a long time. I cant wait to return and try something else!

Best dining experience ever!! We have went to many steakhouses in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. Boa by far was THE best steak we have ever had. We started with the Wagyu Cigar appetizer. Spices from Morocco and Lebanon infused with the ground Wagyu rolled like an egg roll. Out of this world unique appetizer ever! We ordered a 2 steak flight. The fillet wagyu and the 15 year old dry aged ribeye. It was served on a wooden board with 3 different salts and sauces. The steak is the highest quality most flavorful steak ever. It honestly stands alone and needs no salt or sauces, but it was fun to try them. The macaroni & cheese was a must. So creamy and delicious! And finally the butter toffee cake! Wow this cake was so moist served with their caramel sauce and a tad bit of Mexican vanilla ice cream on top. My husband and I shared but I could have eaten one by myself! Cannot wait to go back to Boa. We had the best service and made to feel like a celebrity. UNBELIEVABLE experience!!

It was standing room only at the bar, but not overcrowded by any means. There is a dress code, but it's not entirely clear what it is. Some guy dressed to the 9s got turned away for not having sleeves whereas I got in with sneakers and a t-shirt. They ask for your cellphones upon entering and give you a key in exchange, but there doesn't seem to be any security to enforce it if you don't want to give them up. I have no problem with their policy, but I bet a lot of customers do. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.

The actual bar is to the left of the entrance. I love that they have a variety of drink specials as well as nonalcoholic beverages. I was hoping to get a taste of the food, but the kitchen doesn't open until 4pm. I would also suggest coming later if you want to catch a show from the live band or explore their seasonal mazes. There's plenty of photo ops, jenga, corn hole, pool, foosball, connect four, pacman, and a few other arcade games. This place is completely filled with 80s, 90s, and early 2000s' nostalgia. It's the perfect spot of tourist and for native austinites. There also a lot of vintage signs from old stores and restaurants that were local to austin as well. I would say this spot is worth the hype! I also give bonus points for the shops & food trucks outside of the bar. The perfect place to hang out with friends and have some fun.

Really great assortment of old signs, like walking through the Neon museum in Vegas but filled with old Austin haunts. We took a bunch of pictures and really liked the layout of the place, we gotta come back at night, as I am sure its even better.

This is gonna be located on the fifth floor in the JW Marriott. You have to walk through the pool area as this is on the west side of the building. Well, we didn't have a reservation and we were able to get sat right away. I forget the name of the individual who assisted us by placing our order. I ended up getting the espresso martini, and then my other person got an old-fashioned. I was asked if I wanted a shot of Bailey's with the espresso martini and that to me would've been way too much. The martini itself was almost kind of smoky. Not your typical kind of very crisp espresso martini had a nice foam on top of it. We also ended up ordering the sliders to go along as we had dinner reservations, and that bacon jam on there is magnificent. The sliders were all juicy and very well put together bun was very soft and the flavor of everything was really good. I would totally go back just for the sliders. Overall the service was great. The views were also quite stunning of downtown and the ambience overall which is very chill. The front part of the bar was actually closed due to a private event so I can imagine getting to take photos on that corner would be really pretty to see.

The couches were so comfortable and the ambiance was so pretty. In terms of the drinks and food, it was okay! Got the job done, but nothing to rave about. I enjoyed the sliders the most. I enjoyed my drink as well (5th Floor Cooldown) once we added the extra sweetener we requested. Without it, I wasn't a huge fan (wasn't sweet, despite being told that it was). Valet parking is only $15 (for 2 hours) with validation. I appreciated that, as it made parking not a headache.
