    Fried Mac and cheese

Made a reservation for 3 for a Tuesday evening and was seated right away. We ordered the fried mac and cheese balls to start which were pretty good. The rigatoni was pretty good as well, no real complaints. The restaurant is kind of small overall and seating is kind of close together inside, so it has a very intimate feel. Our server Matt was amazing! Super kind and attentive and joked around with us; honestly the service stood out more than the food but the food was overall solid.

Great ambiance and service. Both meals were overcooked and the trout was super fishy and not fresh. The vegetables were super overcooked and mushy. The manager took the trout dish out of our bill. I would recommend getting drinks and enjoying the ambiance.

We got reservations for the outdoor patio, and brought our dog. They were quick about seating us and the outdoor space is nice and shaded, still comfortable on a hot day! We got two pasta dishes: - Bolognese: definitely recommend!! It was surprisingly more flavorful than many others I've had in the past. Chicken parmesan: ok not a "pasta" dish, but it comes with pasta. This was good but i felt like the chicken portions were a bit smaller than I'm used to. Overall a good experience. Not a lot of Italian places in Austin so grateful to have this one nearby!

Great place for date night! We had a great time. The service here was excellent. Our server provided great recommendations for wine and entrees. The specials offered were all tempting. There are a number of good entree's to choose from. The wine list is nice as well. We loved the Chianti. The only down side would be the size. There are only a few tables so it can fill up. Can't wait for a Return visit

The food at 68 Degrees was just fantastic. The pasta was so fresh and the portions are great. The meal and the service did not disappoint. We look forward to our next visit!

We had a very pleasant dinner here. Our waitress is so friendly and gracious. She really did take care of us well. The meals were scrumptious and portions sizes were perfect for us.

Fantastic service and ambiance. Available parking out front and on side of building. The food was fresh and tasty. We arrived during happy hour, so we able to take advantage of the $2 discount on apps. Excited to return and try other items of their menu.

We made a 7:30 reservation for 3 people for an outdoor table -- we had to wait over 40 minutes. Only about 30 mins in did the host tell the table that they had a reservation waiting. Maybe a good idea to add that into the reservations? The host said this happened all the time. We tried the below: - calamari - delish! - penne with sausage - the sausage was not very good, super basic and not flavorful at alll. The sauce was very good and made up for it! - bolognese - it was very bland and watery. I asked for extra meat and tomato sauce and put a ton of red pepper flakes to have more taste. - desserts were amazing and would definitely get again! It was for a bday so nothing was comped despite the wait as well...a bit annoying Overall, not sure I loved anything enough to really go back. A cool new neighborhood spot though!

Was looking forward to our reservations here but unfortunately the food was bland. We got the bolognese and the fettuccine and neither had much flavor. The wine options they had were good but we just wish the food had something more too it.

I normally don't order steak at restaurants because I genuinely believe I can make it just as good, if not better, at home. (Feel free to DM me for cooking tips!) That said, Red Ash definitely gave me a run for my money. I ordered both the New York strip and the filet, cooked a perfect rare because I want my steak still mooing on the plate. Both were succulent, juicy, tender, and downright delicious. Insert whatever adjective you want because these steaks deserve them all. Mamma mia!!! Honestly, I couldn't even tell you what sides I ordered because the steaks completely stole the show. Choosing a favorite between the New York strip and the filet is like flipping a coin. They were both that good! The wine selection was equally spectacular, and our waiter offered excellent recommendations that paired beautifully with the meal. Now, be prepared to spend a pretty penny because this is definitely a splurge. But when the food, service, and overall experience come together like this, it's worth every single cent.

Of course, now I cannot remember their name however they also recalled me which was a nice little ketchup and a welcome back to the restaurant. For $75 you got four courses, including an appetizer pallet cleanser, main course and then dessert. The appetizer I went with the whipped ricotta that came with focaccia bread. It was a smaller version than their normal appetizer, but still just as tasty. Second course was a summer melon salad and this just paired beautifully to be nice light and refreshing right before you ended up having your main meal. This was a full-size so I definitely had leftovers. third course I went with the. smoke pork shoulder, which came out in a decent size I would say a full-size mill. The sauce with it as well as the sweet potatoes. Very nicely there was some seasoning on there that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I wish I would've asked what was on it overall very decent dish. Last but not least was dessert, which was the brown butter cake. And y'all when I say this was amazing. I'm so glad I saved room specifically for this because everything on it was delightful. The cake was soft and room temperature. The pecans on it were nice and candied. Very tasty. Also kind of soft due to sautéing. I wasn't too much of a fan of them meringue so I didn't eat that part of it. and the cinnamon gelato scoop on top pair really nicely as well. Overall, very consistent service from entering the restaurant to being sat to having the staff assist you. They definitely have a good teamwork system where someone sees that your plates finish or they ask for someone to assist if they might have their hands full. I really enjoy that about this restaurant.

The complementary bread was somewhat lacking. Being Italian myself I found it just OK. We all had drinks and although I ordered two different speciality drinks, both were the same. The service was a little slow with me asking for a water refill and the waitress returning to fill only one of our group's glass. LOL. The inside was nice and it had a comfortable feel. Our total with tip was $400. It is definitely not someplace I would visit often due to the total, but we did have two apps and several drinks so that's on us I guess.

Such a good find in Austin!…read more If you're ever craving pasta, this is the place to stop by. We went on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy, but everyone who came in was still able to get a table. It feels very authentic. No Italian-American staples like Alfredo, meatballs, or garlic bread, which was actually refreshing since I'm so used to that style. You can either sit down first and take your time with the menu, or order in line before grabbing a table. Either way, they're very chill about it. Another cool thing: they're BYOB and will even cork it for you. Saw other guests bring their own glasses too, which was a nice touch. The pasta is clearly fresh. I'd recommend the macaroni with mushrooms and sausage. I got the tagliatelle with lemon shrimp cream sauce and loved it, though now I'm curious to try one of their non-cream-based sauces next time. Also spotted another table's lasagna go by and the portion was huge. Already excited to go back next time I'm in Austin. Definitely check this spot out!
