Cute 24 hour Asian cuisine you and the menus in Chinese. It was definitely full of people I came here after a massage. There's a lot of massage at 24hour massage places in this area and this is also a 24 hour Cafe the service is good. The ambience is cute. The food comes out quickly pretty tasty and honestly I've come back the last time. I went to the 24 Hour Massage Pl. see you there.

Ordered delivery. The dim sum was delicious loved the shumai it was hefty and juicy, the short rib had a nice pepper seasoning, the tripe was really flavorful in a nice ginger sauce. The curry beef was the best from everything it was tender and the curry was wonderfully delicious and last but not least the wonton noodle soup had a really soothing broth with huge wontons and bok choy. Definitely enjoyed and would order again. Almond milk tea also tasted great.

Queens in general and Flushing in particular have long been destinations for global diversity. Flushing's Chinatown is one of three major Chinese communities in New York's five boroughs and is considered by many to have been eclipsed by its sister in Manhattan in both size and quality. Located off of Prince Street in Flushing, we decided to stop in at this popular late-night (until the wee hours of the morning at 4 am) Hong Kong-style establishment, 39 Prince Cafe (利苑食坊), for an early dinner. Upon entering as first-timers, the well-lit interior evokes a casual welcoming vibe full of warmth. My partner, my cousin, and I got a table in the back. Their extensive menu features Cantonese cuisine with a wide variety of comfort food, dim sum, noodles, congee, fried rice, and sizzling platters. We decided on Wonton Soup (淨雲吞), Beef Chow Fun (乾炒牛河), Yang Chow Fried Rice (揚州炒飯), and Pan Fried Noodle with Seafood (海鮮炒麵). Complimentary hot tea started our meal. The food came out piping hot, deliciously authentic, and fresh in flavor, creating something that is affordable, satisfying, and nostalgic. The portion was healthy. The staff was attentive and efficient. Great for late meals and worth a trip!

Read the reviews and it's either really good or really bad. I had a cold and really wanted a bowl of congee. Thankfully they accepted credit cards since I didn't have any cash on me. The congee came out in a relatively short time along with a box of crullers. 2 fried dough cut up in half and it was a bit on the small side (see picture). The congee was pretty good though it's a bit on the expensive side. It was what I needed so I'm not complaining on telling you the expectation so you aren't caught by surprise.

Pork Siomai, Chicken Feet, Beef Tripe , Hot & Sour Soup Lychee Smoothie w/ Boba!!!

Still Amazing Dimsum it never Fails ..... Hot & Sour Soup and must have & the smoothies delish w/ Boba of course!!!

i am originally from Hong Kong, so when i saw 39 prince cafe said it is a hk style restaurant, i wanted to challenge it. for the first time we ordered some fried calamari, stewed beef noodles, and hot drinks. food was really really good, hot drinks were super huge size. service was very welcoming. ambiance was comfortable, enough rooms between tables, wouldn't feel crowded. 2nd time we backed there for dim sum, it was really really good, even better than those big Chinese restaurants. 3rd time we ordered a tofu roasted pork pot, garlic veggies, roasted duck for appetizer. every time we enjoyed the food so much, so healing for my homesick. definitely is one of the best hong kong style restaurant in new york. its a shout out every time when we paid. extremely easonable price. love to eat there.

The food and service is exceptional. I do recommend trying everything on the menu at least once. Have been eating here for many years.

Korean Style Short Ribs Rice Dish

I came in for a quick meal for lunch on Monday at 1PM. The restaurant was quite empty so the service was quick. I ordered the Korean Short Rib with rice. I haven't had short ribs in probably a year, so it was very captivating in taste. The rice and the ribs go really well together and I would recommend to try. I am feeling hungry now as I am thinking about it. Definitely coming back for a quick bite/meal.

The food was not picture worthy.

Avoid this place. I ordered a wonton and mein (noodle) dish, but what I got was completely different. The noodles were thin--not what I expected--and they forgot to bring the soup broth. When I asked, they eventually brought out plain hot water with no flavor at all. I didn't mind the wrong noodles until I bit into the so-called wonton. It had a tiny, dried-up shrimp inside. I don't even like shrimp, and that wasn't mentioned anywhere. I also tried one of the dim sum platters, which were just okay--not worth a second visit. I didn't complain at the restaurant, but when I got home, I ended up with a stomach ache. The service was terrible. I had to struggle just to get their attention to bring the broth and soy sauce. They won't even bother to refill your water. Definitely not coming back.

Shrimp Lo Mein Chicken wing Fish Balls with Curry Special Boba

I ordered pickup from 39 Kings Cafe for a late night bite after arriving in NY and was pleasantly surprised! The shrimp lo mein was delicious and flavorful. The chicken wings were just okay.. tasty but a bit too small. I really enjoyed the curry fishballs, especially the flavorful curry sauce and also addition of potatoes. I also got boba, which was cheap but good with chewy tapioca pearls. This spot is perfect for a late night craving or quick takeout due to its hours. Prices are super reasonable, and the staff are hardworking and polite. Solid place for food

This place used to be a Bakery, now it is a Hong Kong type cafe, they have a menu that is served from 10:00am to 5:30pm. It has dim sum made to ordered, soups, hong kong style dishes, they only make items off the early menu, cannot order off menu items if it's on the late dinner menu.

Comfort food with a Hong Kong flair, always well prepared and served piping hot by an efficient, welcoming staff that clearly aims to please. This is our go-to spot at night when we're craving something delicious and fast.

An absolute frenzy from the moment we walked in…read more-- packed dining rooms, large Chinese families everywhere, noise levels through the roof, and servers running at full speed trying to keep up with the chaos. The staff wanted my wife to sit at an angle to the table; so that they could pass through. The seafood itself was solid traditional Cantonese fare with fresh lobster tanks, steamed fish, and classic banquet-style dishes. The atmosphere felt colorful authentic Hong Kong banquet hall energy. However, some of their pricing was completely out of whack. Mother's Day premium for sure which is understandable, but some dishes were simply excessively expensive for what was delivered. For example, our two lobsters, while fresh, were missing that smoky "wok hei" flavor that great Cantonese kitchens are known for. It lacked the depth, aroma, and richness one expects from a proper high-heat wok preparation. A few items felt priced more for Guide Michelin luxury dining than a Flushing seafood hall. This said, the service was efficient and professional; changing plates all the time. So a high level of attention above the usual Cantonese restaurant. Overall, decent food in and an authentic Hong Kong style restaurant that targets special family gatherings, but be prepared, both the crowds and the bill can become overwhelming very quickly. I paid more than $400 for three people. But we had a Tiger Fish which is $50 per pound.

I have so many reasons to believe that Emperor is truly the reincarnation of the restaurant...just a little rusty. I've only come here for dim sum and I'm still surprised it doesn't get even half of the insane volume that nearby dim sum restaurants get, especially with how much closer they are to Roosevelt Ave. I have to say that the dim sum here is slightly better than most locations in the core downtown area, both in presentation and taste. No cart ladies, just a paper and pencil ordering system. The other diners that I usually encounter seem to strike me as locals, which is becoming harder to find these days. Prices are slightly more expensive than the other places, which is probably a factor as to why there aren't as many customers. The other reason is probably the subpar customer service here, which I've encountered on a number of recent visits. There are so many workers here, but none of them seem to have any good grasp of what customer service is. For example, I've had the waiter hover over me as I was gathering cash for my bill and snatched it the moment I placed the money down, also demanding at least 18% (again, for subpar service). Also, if you complain to them about your food, even if you find a hair, they will not do anything about it. The food quality is slightly above most of the dim sum places, but also bear in mind the hit-or-miss service you'll get, which the latter can be super frustrating.

It's completely uncompromising and visually energetic and right up on your stuff. People think fine dining is about snooty & hushed dining rooms, white linen or silk tablecloths, and waiters moving like iceskating gohsts. That'sghosts. Real gastronomy is about energy, precision, and respect for the ingredient.ls. And here, in a cavernous banquet hall in Queens packed with hundreds of people clinking teapots and hailing steam carts, there is an absolute purity of discipline. I sat down, and within thirty seconds, the assault began. First came the Siu Mai. Look at the structure. Most chefs get lazy they pad the filling with filler, turn the pork to rubber, and overcook the shrimp until it loses its soul. But here? You bite through that paper thin yellow wrapper, and there is an unmistakable, violent snap of fresh, sweet prawn bound with perfectly seasoned pork. It's juicy, rich, and utterly balanced. No nonsense. Just technique. Then, the Har Gow. The true test of any dim sum kitchen. If the translucent skin sticks to the bamboo steamer or tears under your chopsticks, the kitchen has failed. Period. But when the basket opened, the steam rose with that clean, pure scent of rice starch and sweet seafood. The pleating on the dumpling was flawless tight, delicate, holding together a filling of whole, pristine shrimp that tasted like they were swimming an hour ago. And the atmosphere? Pure theatre. The carts weave through the room like a well-drilled brigade during a Friday night rush. The giant LED screens blaring event packages in gold and crimson, the hum of conversation, the crack of crispy pork belly skin three tables over, it's alive. Most people come to places like this and just see a crowded room. I see conviction. I see chefs back in that kitchen who understand that simplicity is the hardest thing to master. You cannot hide behind a fancy reduction or a sprig of chervil here. The dumpling is either perfect, or it's garbage. At Royal Queen, it's extraordinary. Pure, unadulterated passion on a bamboo steamer. Perfection.

This is a pushcart service, which is good news for those who want the nostalgia of choosing things directly from the cart. Not all the service workers are Canto-speaking, as I heard dialects from Wenzhou, Toisan (#1), and likely Fukinese. During the late afternoon, it's important to flag them down because it may take awhile for them to make the full round. From chiu chow dumplings (潮州粉粿) to shrimp dumplings (蝦餃), the selection is standard and well portioned. The steamed variety is preferred here, with some immediate hits in the form of spare ribs (排骨), shrimp rice roll (蝦腸粉), and glutinous rice wrap (糯米雞). The coconut jelly (椰子糕) was especially wonderful and the BBQ pork buns (叉燒包) were nicely steamed with solid chunks of pork inside. Overall, I think the food was consistent, tasty, and well presented. Prices are solid for Flushing and won't break the bank. The gaudy decor extends beyond the main dining hall and all the way into the bathrooms.
