It was tougher than beef jerky, barely edible. My husband ordered the ribeye steak. It was dry, no flavor, way under seasoned, not juicy at all. But that wasn't the worst part. While my husband was in the bathroom, he saw a cockroach in the there We did tell the server who was going to tell management. We arrived around 8:40 and was told the dinner area was close but we could seat in the bar at either at the high tops or tables. The service and food were excellent. My only critique that is negative is the service charge they tried to pass to me. I reviewed at the bill, which was approximately $400, and noticed a service fee. When I asked my server what this fee was, she explained it was from corporate to pay for health services for employees. She promptly removed it when I asked her to. The menu has this info in small font on the bottom of the menu. I tipped 18% for three of us with a decent bill. I'm not cheap but don't pass your corporate expenditures to me. read more

Came here as a party of 11 on a Thursday evening around 7. I made reservations at noon same day. Very grateful 333 allowed that. Other restaurants in the area didn't open until 5pm or wouldn't allow same day reservations for a party that large. We were seated promptly. The bread rolls took a while to arrive. We ordered a couple cocktails for the dinner as well as appetizers and entrees. The calamari was average. The short rib macaroni was pretty good. Our entrees came out at the same time, which was fantastic. I ordered the blackened salmon, which I'm sure was the best dish on the menu. It was delightful! I did want to mention we also had our silverware and dinnerware exchanged, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was upscale but not as classy as you'd expect for a steakhouse. The service was average, attentive enough not to complain. I would recommend coming for the views on the outdoor patio and the salmon. read more

Well, I'll start with the good points. Dalicia was awesome, sweet, polite and professional. Ambiance was lovely. I asked two waitresses about the ceviche vs the ahi tuna light meals and both told me that that was a tough choice, but favoured the ceviche, so I ordered it. I started eating ceviche in Peru when I lived there in the 70's. I love it, but I must say this was some of the worst I have ever had, to the point I couldn't even finish it. It is advertised as fish and shrimp ceviche. I would say it was 90% fish and the fish was tough and chewy. The shrimp was almost non-existent. I would guess they cooked it in straight lime juice. In any case, it was awful. I don't usually leave reviews and this restaurant was lovely, but the ceviche was so bad I had to warn you. read more

It's relatively expensive, which goes along with the location. Large, full bar area, with extensive cocktail and wine lists. Parking is on street, with a few public lots nearby, but some walking may be required. FOOD: We started by sharing an order of the Charred Octopus ($22.95). For entrées, we tried the Pan Seared Mary's Half Chicken ($34.95), the Spiced Tomahawk Pork Chop ($47.95), and the 20 oz. Cowboy Ribeye ($68.95). Everything was tasty and well prepared, but nothing really "wowed" us. Portions were large, so we skipped dessert this time. Overall, we had a very nice first experience and would definitely return. But seriously... what happened to this place? We used to take visitors here because it was reliably good, but the food has gone way way down hill. We were just there 3/7 and the service was still exceptional but so many menu items have changed. The short rib mac'n'cheese used to be a deliciously decadent shareable and tonight it tasted like barely-buttered noodles. The key lime pie martini is in a new, smaller glass and is heavier on the acidity. Very nice steakhouse just a few steps from the beach. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I enjoyed my oysters and the steak which was prepared perfectly. I substituted roasted potatoes for mashed and they have a ton of options to dress up your steak. The green beans were perfection with the right amount of crisp. The timing of dishes was a bit off since we were a larger party and the restaurant was very busy but it was still a very enjoyable experience.. granted very long. My bf and I came here to celebrate our anniversary in October and we really enjoyed the food, the ambiance, the service, and the drinks! It is located conveniently and nicely right across the beach so we had a beautiful view of the sun setting sitting outdoor in the patio area. They had their old fashioned week and we tried their coconut old fashioned. It was good but we also got their standard old fashioned and I prefer that more. Service was great and our waiter was awesome! Actually all the staff were awesome! Food was delish! We got a bit of everything, from steak to oyster to cioppino. So I popped in actually just to get some quarters from the bar because Oceanside thinks it's 1979 and still requires change for their parking meters. The bartenders were so amazingly pleasant that I ended up buying something and would definitely come back for a meal. In an age of skepticism and disinterest, it was absolutely a wonderful find! I'm sorry but this place was terrible. My husband, daughter and I went for our anniversary and our experience was nothing like these reviews. Our service had no personality, didn't mention once about our anniversary, and forgot the special until I asked about it. My husbands steak was severely overcooked and my scallops were overdone and the risotto was underdone. The rosemary bread was hard as a rock. The anniversary dessert that was brought to us was on a disgustingly dirty plate. Honestly the best thing was my daughter's salad and the side of green beans. We don't like to send food back but when the manager came to check on us we did say something about the steak and he took it off our bill. We also mentioned to him that it was our anniversary which is why I'm assuming we were brought dessert. Our server had no interest in offering any coffee or any other dessert with it either. It was a really awful 10 year anniversary dinner. So bad that we booked a reservation somewhere else on another night to try and make up for it. read more

A beautiful restaurant to have a celebration. My hun & I came here to celebrate our engagement. Make sure to request a table with a view because they have gorgeous views of the Oceanside Pier. When you do make a resy, you can add additional celebration touches to make your dinner memorable, such as flowers or champagne or both. Short Rib Mac & Cheese: This is so good! The short rib is so flavorful & I love all of the different cheeses they use. Filet Trio: I love having a variety & this was a good dish for me. 3 filets. 1 topped with crab, asparagus & bearnaise, 1 topped with bleu cheese & peppadew jam, 1 topped with green peppercorn sauce & crispy onions. All the toppings were wonderful but I think I would ask for just bleu cheese & no peppadew jam because it was super, super sweet. Each filet was cooked nicely & was tender. Cowboy Ribeye: A good amount of fatty & tenderness. Butter Cake: Sweet & I think it had pieces of pineapple in it? Cannoli: Our server was excellent & made our experience even better by & surprising this dessert for us, thank you! Ive been to 333 quite a few times, however, this was the first time for lunch. The ambiance was great and the service was good. If the review stopped there, I'd give it a 4.5 Star. ......but it doesn't stop there. My wife and I ordered the steak sandwiches of the lunch special money at 26.95 each. Not sure it's a special, but hey, you pay for the location and we knew that going in. The sandwich was not what I was expecting. You are basically given a loaf of bread with 4 small pieces of steak on each half and a bunch of deep fried onions. Very bland, nothing special, of course we did have a full loaf of French bread each! Too many good and great places to eat to settle for a mediocre sandwich at an exorbitant price. That said, I'm editing this review as one of my issues was a misunderstanding and I have deleted that part of the review. The other issue was the sandwich itself. David, I think the or an owner, called me after reaching out via yelp and we had a good conversation. He offered to refund both sandwiches, and I allowed him to refund one of them as we did eat them. We were blown away by an epic seafood dinner here at 333 Pacific! They were able to seat us right away without a reservation on a holiday weekend by letting us sit in the first-come-first-serve tables up front. Our server Jordan took great care of us all night, from cocktails to appetizers to the main course. Their happy hour was awesome, $10 per plate for a delightful lobster bisque, giant caesar salad, and steamed mussels. Then the main was absolutely incredible: we shared the Colossal Seafood Tower and they were NOT joking about the "colossal" part of that! We could not believe the portion sizes. A giant mason jar of delicious tuna tartar, a big bowl of shrimp ceviche, a dozen plump meaty oysters, tons of jumbo shrimp, a full dungeness crab cluster, and on and on and on. Amazing. The only thing we didn't totally love on the tower was the lobster, it was good but a little tough. (It could just be that I'm from the Northeast though so I get picky with my lobster lol) I have to mention though how amazing the bread course was. They could have just put out simple bread and butter and we would have been happy, but they went way over the top with these beautiful freshly-baked rosemary buns and three different kinds of soft whipped butter. Super delicious. Yes it was a little expensive... by the time it was all said and done, about $350 for three of us with tax and tip. But for being able to eat seafood a stone's throw from Oceanside beach, with great service, top quality, and huge portion size, well, you get what you pay for sometimes. This used to be my wife's favorite restaurant for special occasions...Valentine's Day, our official wedding day, etc. So, for her 50th bday this week, I took her here last Tuesday at 5:30 so we could get her favorite corner table on the patio. The ambiance and service was amazing. Chocolate martinis were spot on...as well as the calamari appetizer. However, for the main courses and sides, her filet was overdone (asked for medium rare), had no flavor or seasoning. The Béarnaise sauce even had no flavor...which was also used on our side of asparagus...which also had no flavor. She was very disappointed and does not wish to come to 333 any longer...and we've come here for years. Maybe the chefs on a Tuesday had no clue how to even cook a filet? So simple. Besides ambiance and service...I'll sadly give the experience a 1 star. read more

Excellent evening! Been wanting to try out this lovely steakhouse/seafood spot for quite a while. It did not disappoint. I had a coupon that brought me in and I will certainly return! We enjoyed the grilled artichokes and scallops, and my hubby had the baseball cut ribeye. We also loved the spicy coconut cocktail and the "whiskey & blood." Both were tasty! Had this place bookmarked for a while and honestly, I don't see what the hype was all about. The decor is dated, the sunset view was obscured by dirty glass Food was overpriced and less than mediocre, service was ok. We got cocktails and some starters: The shrimp ceviche was under seasoned canned fingernail sized shrimp and meh. The tuna tar tar was also lackluster and completely bland. The calamari was ok but was clearly frozen bagged Sysco type. This review is for their Happy Hour which is one of our favorite in Oceanside. Currently it is 3-6pm in their bar area DAILY which is awesome. We have been visiting about once a week or once every two weeks for the last few months since we discovered it. The HH is only in the bar area and it can get busy. Understandably so since they have some good items on the menu for bites and sips. We usually go with the filet skewers and calamari for snacks. However the Caesar salad, shrimp ceviche and truffle fries are also great choices all for $10 You could absolutely make a whole meal out of the choices like one of the tables near us did with each getting the salad, lobster bisque soup then Having an order of fries and calamari for the table plus two glasses of wine. Tons of food for about $40 (pre tax and tip a person) Restaurant overall is in a great location near the ocean. Only downside is there is no outside seating for the HH, but that's out of their control. read more

The wedge salad was awesome! I got the Ciopini. Very heavy tomato forward base. I wouldn't call it a soup because it was not possible to eat it like that. Great for dipping the bread. The wait staff was polite but not excessive, allowing us to keep to our conversations. My husband & I split the beet & burrata salad, which was interesting, delicious & beautiful! We both had fillets and were so pleased w them. We liked the potatoes that are served alongside. We also ordered the brussel sprouts, which were very tasty (not greasy) and flavorful.
