Came here as a party of 11 on a Thursday evening around 7. I made reservations at noon same day. Very grateful 333 allowed that. Other restaurants in the area didn't open until 5pm or wouldn't allow same day reservations for a party that large. We were seated promptly. The bread rolls took a while to arrive. We ordered a couple cocktails for the dinner as well as appetizers and entrees. The calamari was average. The short rib macaroni was pretty good. Our entrees came out at the same time, which was fantastic. I ordered the blackened salmon, which I'm sure was the best dish on the menu. It was delightful! I did want to mention we also had our silverware and dinnerware exchanged, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was upscale but not as classy as you'd expect for a steakhouse. My bf and I came here to celebrate our anniversary in October and we really enjoyed the food, the ambiance, the service, and the drinks! It is located conveniently and nicely right across the beach so we had a beautiful view of the sun setting sitting outdoor in the patio area. They had their old fashioned week and we tried their coconut old fashioned. It was good but we also got their standard old fashioned and I prefer that more. So I popped in actually just to get some quarters from the bar because Oceanside thinks it's 1979 and still requires change for their parking meters. The bartenders were so amazingly pleasant that I ended up buying something and would definitely come back for a meal. In an age of skepticism and disinterest, it was absolutely a wonderful find! Very nice steakhouse just a few steps from the beach. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I enjoyed my oysters and the steak which was prepared perfectly. I substituted roasted potatoes for mashed and they have a ton of options to dress up your steak. The green beans were perfection with the right amount of crisp. The timing of dishes was a bit off since we were a larger party and the restaurant was very busy but it was still a very enjoyable experience.. granted very long. Ive been to 333 quite a few times, however, this was the first time for lunch. The ambiance was great and the service was good. If the review stopped there, I'd give it a 4.5 Star. ......but it doesn't stop there. My wife and I ordered the steak sandwiches of the lunch special money at 26.95 each. Not sure it's a special, but hey, you pay for the location and we knew that going in. The sandwich was not what I was expecting. You are basically given a loaf of bread with 4 small pieces of steak on each half and a bunch of deep fried onions. Very bland, nothing special, of course we did have a full loaf of French bread each! Too many good and great places to eat to settle for a mediocre sandwich at an exorbitant price. That said, I'm editing this review as one of my issues was a misunderstanding and I have deleted that part of the review. The other issue was the sandwich itself. David, I think the or an owner, called me after reaching out via yelp and we had a good conversation. He offered to refund both sandwiches, and I allowed him to refund one of them as we did eat them. It's relatively expensive, which goes along with the location. Large, full bar area, with extensive cocktail and wine lists. Parking is on street, with a few public lots nearby, but some walking may be required. FOOD: We started by sharing an order of the Charred Octopus ($22.95). For entrées, we tried the Pan Seared Mary's Half Chicken ($34.95), the Spiced Tomahawk Pork Chop ($47.95), and the 20 oz. Cowboy Ribeye ($68.95). Everything was tasty and well prepared, but nothing really "wowed" us. Portions were large, so we skipped dessert this time. Overall, we had a very nice first experience and would definitely return. We waited for another 50 minutes expecting to see a server come over to us soon. After an hour we decided to leave because no one spoke to us or even acknowledged we were there. A beautiful restaurant to have a celebration. My hun & I came here to celebrate our engagement. Make sure to request a table with a view because they have gorgeous views of the Oceanside Pier. When you do make a resy, you can add additional celebration touches to make your dinner memorable, such as flowers or champagne or both. Short Rib Mac & Cheese: This is so good! The short rib is so flavorful & I love all of the different cheeses they use. Filet Trio: I love having a variety & this was a good dish for me. 3 filets. 1 topped with crab, asparagus & bearnaise, 1 topped with bleu cheese & peppadew jam, 1 topped with green peppercorn sauce & crispy onions. All the toppings were wonderful but I think I would ask for just bleu cheese & no peppadew jam because it was super, super sweet. Each filet was cooked nicely & was tender. Cowboy Ribeye: A good amount of fatty & tenderness. Butter Cake: Sweet & I think it had pieces of pineapple in it? Cannoli: Our server was excellent & made our experience even better by & surprising this dessert for us, thank you! This used to be my wife's favorite restaurant for special occasions...Valentine's Day, our official wedding day, etc. So, for her 50th bday this week, I took her here last Tuesday at 5:30 so we could get her favorite corner table on the patio. The ambiance and service was amazing. Chocolate martinis were spot on...as well as the calamari appetizer. However, for the main courses and sides, her filet was overdone (asked for medium rare), had no flavor or seasoning. The Béarnaise sauce even had no flavor...which was also used on our side of asparagus...which also had no flavor. She was very disappointed and does not wish to come to 333 any longer...and we've come here for years. Maybe the chefs on a Tuesday had no clue how to even cook a filet? So simple. No restrictions on what we could order, but since the ahi nicoise was the item I dinged them for, I ordered that again. my wife had the green goddess salad. Both were excellent. A full portion of ahi for the nicoise, and a very tasty dressing on the green goddess, with a nice portionof crab and shrimp. The decor is dated, the sunset view was obscured by dirty glass Food was overpriced and less than mediocre, service was ok. We got cocktails and some starters: The shrimp ceviche was under seasoned canned fingernail sized shrimp and meh. The tuna tar tar was also lackluster and completely bland. The calamari was ok but was clearly frozen bagged Sysco type. This review is for their Happy Hour which is one of our favorite in Oceanside. Currently it is 3-6pm in their bar area DAILY which is awesome. We have been visiting about once a week or once every two weeks for the last few months since we discovered it. The HH is only in the bar area and it can get busy. Understandably so since they have some good items on the menu for bites and sips. We usually go with the filet skewers and calamari for snacks. However the Caesar salad, shrimp ceviche and truffle fries are also great choices all for $10 You could absolutely make a whole meal out of the choices like one of the tables near us did with each getting the salad, lobster bisque soup then Having an order of fries and calamari for the table plus two glasses of wine. Tons of food for about $40 (pre tax and tip a person) Restaurant overall is in a great location near the ocean. First off, the staff was so friendly and attentive...and the appetizers were great! Went in for Happy hour on a Friday ( so happy they had that because a lot of places don't have happy hour on fridays). The wine pour was huge, the Brussels sprouts and fries were excellent! Had a very enjoyable meal here yesterday. Staff were really friendly, food and drinks were great and the ambiance just right.

We terribly regretted coming here for Christmas dinner. On Christmas evening my boyfriend, baby sister, and I walked in around 6:30 to have dinner. 333 had a Christmas 3 course menu, $75 per adult and $25 per kid, beverages not included. They closed at 7 but still sat us which was kind. If I knew that meant we wouldn't get the same service then we would've just left. It took about 15 minutes to get our beverages from the time we placed the order. It took about 45 minutes for our waiter to ask what we wanted to eat. Our waiter took 20 minutes to return with a straw, but when he came back with he still had no straw. My soup was so small and was served with no spoon, had to wait again for a spoon. He came back to ask if we wanted more drinks. I asked him not to serve my 8 year old a SECOND Shirley temple, he brought back a Shirley temple and brought back the wrong drink for boyfriend 15 minutes later. I felt like a forgotten customer. The $75 prime rib was supposed to be medium rare, it was so rare. The fat on it was so pink and squishy it made me feel sick just cutting it off. I love medium rare steak but this was very disappointing. Desert- baby sister had the option of ice cream Sandwhich. Rock hard. She couldn't bite into it I got a pecan tart that was meant to be served with vanilla ice cream- no vanilla ice cream.. but we saw other waiters take out THE SAME THING to other tables with ice cream. I asked if the ice cream was included like it SAID ON THE MENU. Waiter said "I can bring some out for you if want" If I want? Is that not what we're paying for??? I looked at my boyfriend and was like "did we do something wrong??" Boyfriends chocolate cake was meant to come with vanilla ice cream too, it didn't. Ice cream comes out- no spoon. Again. Waiter never came back so I just ate it with a fork.. The bill after tip was $270. We felt sick paying that price for terrible service, and extremely mediocre food. My boyfriend paid for it alone but I sent him half after cause I couldn't let him suffer alone. We both just couldn't believe the experience we had from a very nice restaurant that was charging people $75 each. Also- if you wanted a filet mignon or lobster it was +$50.. just ridiculous. 333 robbed us. read more

Excellent evening! Been wanting to try out this lovely steakhouse/seafood spot for quite a while. It did not disappoint. I had a coupon that brought me in and I will certainly return! We enjoyed the grilled artichokes and scallops, and my hubby had the baseball cut ribeye. We also loved the spicy coconut cocktail and the "whiskey & blood." Both were tasty! We came to 333 this past Saturday to celebrate birthdays w another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our meal & experience! The wait staff was polite but not excessive, allowing us to keep to our conversations. My husband & I split the beet & burrata salad, which was interesting, delicious & beautiful! We both had fillets and were so pleased w them. We liked the potatoes that are served alongside. We also ordered the brussel sprouts, which were very tasty (not greasy) and flavorful. They kindly acknowledged our birthdays with a slice of delicious chocolate ganache style cake. We also tried the s'mores dessert and liked it too. Pros: Walked in and got instantly greeted and sat right away. It was Wednesday evening so it wasn't busy whatsoever. Our table was spacious and intimate. We couldn't hear the table across or next to us so it was nice. Cons: being in the service industry for many many years I tend to be very lenient and understanding when it comes to service. I make notice of restaurant flow, how busy it is, how big the servers sections might be along with how busy it is. I never expect anyone to be me or do how I would. This being said, service was quite slow and no personality. Our server basically brought drinks, which took a while, took order, Stopped by once and dropped off the check. Very robotic. When coming to the upscale restaurant and being ready to spend a couple hundred dollars I expect better service, more personable and much better food. We got lobster, ribeye and the sides it came with. No flavor at all. The mashed potatoes tasted, looked and felt like they were at least a day old. We were so hungry because we were anticipating our date all day so we didn't make a fuss and just wanted to be on our way. The server came by once before we could really get into our food to ask how it was. We said fine because we hadn't really eaten it yet. He didn't walked by again so we could say anything more. It was such a disappointment all around. I felt like none of the money spent was worth it. I'm not one to write negative reviews but rather enjoy writing positive where deserved. However, this experience was so disappointing and I feel like we wasted our money. We won't be returning and unfortunately won't recommend to anyone. read more

Drove 40m for lunch at 333 Pacific. Reviewed the menu on our drive. Our order from the menu was two 333 greens, both with grilled chicken. After taking our order, the server returned & stated that the restaurant had no chicken available at all. How can a restaurant advertise an item, how can a restaurant not have any chicken at all? As a result our server offered substitutions and we went with steak on one & grilled shrimp on the other. When the bill arrived, the "adds" were $15.95 & $16.50 (3 pieces of Shrimp). This was on top of the greens of $15.50 each. These adds were a bit excessive especially considering that the restaurant did not have what was advertised. Well, lesson learned & we will explore other nearby restaurants going forward. read more
