Had such a great experience and meal. Came early for our reservation and ordered a cocktail for happy hour along with the ceviche. Ceviche was fresh and so good. For dinner I had a Ceasar salad followed by filet mignon 3 ways and my husband had the sea bass. Both meals were excellent, what a great way to eat filet. I am a sauce person so having filet 3 ways hit my food jackpot. My husband loved the sea bass and we split a dessert. I really wanted to give them five stars, but the service was lacking. 2nd time I've visited this location and it's in a prime spot right along the Oceanside pier. Highly recommend making reservation so you can sit on their sun patio and enjoy the views. They have a great menu, it's very beach chic so no need to dress up extra fancy just avoid beach wear, flip flops and tank tops. The food has always been excellent, no complaints at all, it's always just the service. This time around I asked player 2 if our waitress was having a bad day as soon as she came to the table. Dinner will run you about 200$ or more but it's worth it. We did the steak and sea for 2, plus the large seafood tower. Taste was phenomenal and their mash potatoes hit every single time! So good. Had a girls' night out dinner at 333 Pacific and really enjoyed the overall experience. I'd personally give it a 4.5-stars. We arrived early for our reservation, so we walked the pier while we waited, and I appreciated that they texted us once our table was ready. One thing to note is they close on the earlier side at 9 p.m. The ambiance was really nice too -- definitely on the fancier side, but not so fancy that it felt stuffy or uncomfortable. We started with the hot sourdough bread and maple spice butter, which was addicting. I also ordered the wedge salad and liked that the blue cheese wasn't overly pungent. My filet mignon was cooked perfectly and very tender, though I do wish it came out hotter since it was basically room temperature when served. The whipped potatoes were buttery and creamy, and the short rib was rich, flavorful, and fall-apart tender. The creamed spinach could've used more salt in my opinion. They were definitely heavy-handed on the spices as the spicy kick at the end caught me off guard. We ended the night with the flourless chocolate cake and wow... definitely worth the calories. 333 Pacific was a solid four stars for me. While there were some things they excelled at, there were a few disappointments that detracted from the overall experience. One thing that was really stellar about 333 Pacific was we made reservations for their first time slot of the day at noon, and despite arriving about 12 minutes early before opening, we were still able to be seated. We drove nearly an hour to get here and it was pretty windy outside, so we appreciated the opportunity to be out of the elements. Our waitress was very nice and throughout our meal multiple staff assisted. No one ever missed a beat. They were all very pleasant and worked well together. You could tell the morale here is very high! We stared out with the calamari, which was- easily a 5 star dish! It was fried to perfection and the melange of sauces drizzled on top were *chefs kiss* excellent! Before our entree arrived they also brought out some piping hot Rosemary Bread Rolls along with some Maple Butter. I thought it was pretty good, but I wish the presence of the rosemary was dialed back so I could taste more of the Maple Butter. For an entree I had the Ahi Tuna Burger lunch special with fries. The seared Ahi Tuna was great and there was a very generous portion served on the burger. The Brioche bun was not very good though, and I feel the shallots on the burger were a bit overwhelming. The fries with the dish were good, but pretty standard fare. I would've preferred the option of a small green salad instead of fries if it was available. My husband ordered the Cioppino. I tried it and it was delicious- another 5 star dish! It had a very deep flavor and lots of seafood. A lot of work to get to some of the seafood, but well worth the effort. The main miss of the meal was my husband ordered a Dr. Pepper and it was flat. He let the waitress know and she went to another station to get a fresh one, and it too, was on the flat side. By this point, my husband just wanted water since the carbonation wasn't up to par. The waitress did a great job and really tried to fix the situation, but the carbonation just wasn't working. I had a Strawberry Lemonade which was fine, but could've used a little oomph for the $8 price tag. Another miss was the terrible smell in the women's restroom. It was either dry drain or some other plumbing issue, but it was pretty bad. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. Overall, we did have a nice lunch here with a great view of the beach. I usually frequent C Level or Island Prime but I decided to try this hidden gem for Restaurant Week. My server Leo was very attentive and polite and was on top of things as my appetizer and entree came out piping hot. I absolutely LOVED the 333 Meatballs as they were covered in this flavorful crispy prosciutto blue cheese fondue. The Mary's Chicken Breast was also very succulent and moist, which is hard to do with white meat. Although the presentation was pretty, I didn't care for the cheesecake though. I was recently invited to a dinner here. It's been a few years since I've been back due to the fact that I had a few experiences that left me disappointed. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to return. Location, view and ambience were lovely at lunch today. After taking our orders the server said have bread and butter brought over. But none was delivered. And, my linguine with clams had literally NO linguine in it. When I brought that to the servers attention they laughed about missing one of the only two promised ingredients. Then disappeared to fix the plate leaving me with no food, while my companion was able to enjoy his lunch. At least five minutes later my dish returned with both ingredients. But still no bread. Finally when we were done with entrees we requested the previously promised bread and they asked if we wanted it for one or two people. How cheap? We're having two $27 dollar entrees and they are trying to save one dinner roll. My linguine with clams ultimately was delicious. OMG, I had not been here in so long, since well before Covid, and I'm so glad I returned! A pleasantly surprising brand new menu with really yummy items such as Wagyu beef and great fish dishes. I ordered the meatloaf and was glad I did, it was yummy... next time I will go for the strip steak. And the desserts looked pretty amazing too. All the staff could not have been nicer or more pleasant, they genuinely seemed happy to be there, from the hostesses to the servers. Happy hour is our favorite time to visit high end steak and seafood restaurants when we are on vacation. We love to sample a variety of smaller portions to explore all their cuisine styles, and here it is all for $10 a dish. Our experience at the bar of 333 Pacific was super! I appreciate they have daily happy hour, as few places offer discounts on Saturday and Sunday in OSide. Although there isn't a great view of the ocean from the bar, we were immersed in our meal! At 415 on a Sunday, it was not busy in the restaurant but we like the bar. And we wanted to be seated where it was happy hour!! We started with a Chi Chi cocktail and a margarita, both nice cocktails worth the $10 price point. The tropical Chi Chi had some pineapple and coconut flavors, and was sweet and cold. Several bartenders helped us, it seemed no one took ownership but we didn't lack for service. I like to watch them make the martinis. We ordered our food from the upbeat tall guy who was prepping the limes and lemons while we dined. We started with a lobster bisque and Caesar salad. The bisque was rich and not heavy but definitely lots of cream! A spoon full of nice little chunks of lobster were on the top. The salad was fine but not extraordinary, and was probably the least "value" dish we ordered. The Ceviche was awesome, however! It came with two seasoned corn tortilla rounds, crisp and snappy. Loaded with shrimp, cucumber, tomato and avocado, it did not come with the menu mentioned taro chips. The flavor was great and had a lot of depth, maybe just clamato but yummy. The garnish included some briny sea beans (pickleweed, who knew!) and I loved them. I could eat this dish every week! For our next course, we had an enormous order of fried calamari with a really excellent sweet chili-citrus glaze. I love the crispy little legs. And the mussels, oh they do a nice job with the mussels. The broth was thicker than I would like, but it was garlicky and buttery. A generous portion for $10, too. I brought my own gluten-free bread to dunk, and husband ate the toast points. It was all he could do to finish his calamari, it was such a huge dish. I admit we didn't have any leftovers, but we had a great meal with a lot of variety and a couple of cocktails for $73 at a fine seafood restaurant on the coast. I call that a win! read more

Came in for happy hour which is served at the bar area from 3-6 at first come, first served. The ambience was really nice, what you would expect from a fine dining steak and seafood restaurant. Desiree was our server, super sweet and attentive. Ordered one of everything from the HH menu with the exception of the Brussel sprouts, which we're not huge fans of. At the advice of Desiree, we ordered 2 of the Lobster Bisque, but kind of wished we started with one, as the taste was not as expected (surprisingly), although the serving for one bowl was quite small; so it was understood why she suggested two for our family of 5. Although we're glad we listened to her when she advised us to just start with one of each of all the other dishes first, as I assumed these would all be smaller portions (tapas style), as we were pleasantly surprised at how large they were. The calamari was delicious, crispy and drizzled with a sweet chili citrus glaze, orange aioli and sesame. The Black mussels were in white wine, herbed garlic butter, leeks and shallots. We were so full already we barely touched the refreshing shrimp ceviche served with tostada, but did devour the crispy, tantalizingly seasoned Truffle Frites served with yummy ailoi, savory meatballs, and huge delicious caesar salad (best caesar I ever had, BTW). In addition to the HH menu items, we ordered the Short Rib Mac and cheese, and it was served with some crispy onion strings on top. I wished it had better flavor though. The whole dish lacked the savoriness and saltiness you crave from both the short rib and the mac and cheese. The other dish we ordered was the Glazed Crispy Pork Belly. We were expecting a crispy piece of pork, but instead received the exact opposite. No crispiness whatsoever, not even a little bit. It was served with some pickled red onions on top and slaw on the side. Interesting to say the least, and definitely unexpected, in not such a good way. With that much fattiness...it needed to be crispy. The chi chi was delicious and made me feel like I was in paradise...vodka, passionfruit, coconut, pineapple, lime. And my husband's margarita was a hit. Desiree brought us a beautiful, decadent dark chocolate cake dessert at the end of our meal...perks of VIP hotel guests... and we left happy and satisfied, wobbling out with full bellies. I made a reservation days in advance through open table with a note that I would be dining with my dog and requested outside seating. I got an email and phone confirmation. When we arrived day of the reservation, we were told that they had made attempts to contact me and that my reservation was canceled because they do not accommodate dogs even outside on their patio. The service was a little slow, but overall, we had a good experience. The only reason I'm not giving this a five star review is due to the ambience. There was a person knocking on the window from outside yelling at us and we were at a table that felt very crowded and close to the surrounding tables. Stopped in for happy hour... nice vibe, drinks were excellent, food too! We tried the Manhattan and the pineapple refresher, and the lobster bisque, meatballs and caesar salad from the happy hour menu. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. It's part of the Wyndham resort, so there was free parking in the Wyndham underground garage. 5 stars for having happy hour everyday including Saturdays and Sundays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. They have about ten $10 "nibbles" to choose from ranging from lobster bisque and ceviche to truffle frites and charred brussel sprouts. The service was good. The wifey and I had a cocktail and draft beer respectively and shared two of the above mentioned nibbles. Our bill was $43 before our tip which IMO was a great deal. We walked on the pier, which is right across the street, and watch a classic SoCal sunset. read more
