My bf and I came here to celebrate our anniversary in October and we really enjoyed the food, the ambiance, the service, and the drinks! It is located conveniently and nicely right across the beach so we had a beautiful view of the sun setting sitting outdoor in the patio area. They had their old fashioned week and we tried their coconut old fashioned. It was good but we also got their standard old fashioned and I prefer that more. Service was great and our waiter was awesome! Actually all the staff were awesome! Food was delish! We got a bit of everything, from steak to oyster to cioppino. Definitely recommend and definitely would come again when I'm in the area! read more

So I popped in actually just to get some quarters from the bar because Oceanside thinks it's 1979 and still requires change for their parking meters. The bartenders were so amazingly pleasant that I ended up buying something and would definitely come back for a meal. In an age of skepticism and disinterest, it was absolutely a wonderful find! So grateful. read more

Profoundly disappointed! I had the Ahi Nicoise Salad. The Ahi was so spicy, I didn't want to eat it and the rest of the salad so bland, there was no reason to finish it. My husband had the fish and chip which he said was so-so. We both had iced tea/lemonade. The bill was $76 for lunch and we will never go back. This used to be a fine restaurant, but our experience at lunch was supremely bad. Cohn restaurants, what happened???? read more

The service and food were excellent. My only critique that is negative is the service charge they tried to pass to me. I reviewed at the bill, which was approximately $400, and noticed a service fee. When I asked my server what this fee was, she explained it was from corporate to pay for health services for employees. She promptly removed it when I asked her to. The menu has this info in small font on the bottom of the menu. I tipped 18% for three of us with a decent bill. I'm not cheap but don't pass your corporate expenditures to me. read more

But seriously... what happened to this place? We used to take visitors here because it was reliably good, but the food has gone way way down hill. We were just there 3/7 and the service was still exceptional but so many menu items have changed. The short rib mac'n'cheese used to be a deliciously decadent shareable and tonight it tasted like barely-buttered noodles. The key lime pie martini is in a new, smaller glass and is heavier on the acidity. I dunno... it's not like this place is inexpensive, we were beyond disappointed and actually a little embarrassed to have brought our guests here tonight. read more

Ive been to 333 quite a few times, however, this was the first time for lunch. The ambiance was great and the service was good. If the review stopped there, I'd give it a 4.5 Star. ......but it doesn't stop there. My wife and I ordered the steak sandwiches of the lunch special money at 26.95 each. Not sure it's a special, but hey, you pay for the location and we knew that going in. The sandwich was not what I was expecting. You are basically given a loaf of bread with 4 small pieces of steak on each half and a bunch of deep fried onions. Very bland, nothing special, of course we did have a full loaf of French bread each! Too many good and great places to eat to settle for a mediocre sandwich at an exorbitant price. That said, I'm editing this review as one of my issues was a misunderstanding and I have deleted that part of the review. The other issue was the sandwich itself. David, I think the or an owner, called me after reaching out via yelp and we had a good conversation. He offered to refund both sandwiches, and I allowed him to refund one of them as we did eat them. We will be going back again and hope the next visit is what we have normally experienced. read more

Excellent evening! Been wanting to try out this lovely steakhouse/seafood spot for quite a while. It did not disappoint. I had a coupon that brought me in and I will certainly return! We enjoyed the grilled artichokes and scallops, and my hubby had the baseball cut ribeye. We also loved the spicy coconut cocktail and the "whiskey & blood." Both were tasty! The music was lovely - classic tunes as we watched the sunset. This place is a classic and we can't wait to go back! PS - daily HH from 3-6! read more

. We stumbled across this spot during happy hour. The service here was absolutely outstanding! The friendliest staff ever. Prices were so reasonable and the apps and drinks were amazing! We loved it so much, we went back the next day. The price jump is massive during normal hours, and I was not impressed with the tuna tower. Definitely recommend for happy hour. Cheers. read more

Solid meal with decent steak and fresh salad, but nothing memorable. Service was okay, and the ambiance felt dated. Good for a straightforward dinner, but lacks the "wow" factor for the price. read more

Well, I'll start with the good points. Dalicia was awesome, sweet, polite and professional. Ambiance was lovely. I asked two waitresses about the ceviche vs the ahi tuna light meals and both told me that that was a tough choice, but favoured the ceviche, so I ordered it. I started eating ceviche in Peru when I lived there in the 70's. I love it, but I must say this was some of the worst I have ever had, to the point I couldn't even finish it. It is advertised as fish and shrimp ceviche. I would say it was 90% fish and the fish was tough and chewy. The shrimp was almost non-existent. I would guess they cooked it in straight lime juice. In any case, it was awful. I don't usually leave reviews and this restaurant was lovely, but the ceviche was so bad I had to warn you. read more

Updating my last review. We went back specifically for Happy Hour this time after so many recommendations. It's not a huge suggestion, but it was great for what they had. We had the calamari, fries, ceviche, and oyster shooters. I was pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. The happy hour specific drinks were fine. Heavy on the pour, taste was average. I can see why everyone loves the happy hour here and we will definitely be back! read more

Service and food great! Tuna tartare and French dip excellent. Reasonable prices, convenient location and Erin was a terrific server

Everything about this restaurant is absolutely perfect. The view and ambience are spectacular and the service is fantastic as well. All the food we had was beyond delicious. Ordering the mussels is a MUST. This restaurant is 40 miles from my house but I would come here weekly if I could! read more

Updsted review: had a wonderful experience the 2nd time around. Kelsey was our server and she was awesome! Very attentive and personable. The food was delicious. This used to be my wife's favorite restaurant for special occasions...Valentine's Day, our official wedding day, etc. So, for her 50th bday this week, I took her here last Tuesday at 5:30 so we could get her favorite corner table on the patio. The ambiance and service was amazing. Chocolate martinis were spot on...as well as the calamari appetizer. However, for the main courses and sides, her filet was overdone (asked for medium rare), had no flavor or seasoning. The Béarnaise sauce even had no flavor...which was also used on our side of asparagus...which also had no flavor. She was very disappointed and does not wish to come to 333 any longer...and we've come here for years. Maybe the chefs on a Tuesday had no clue how to even cook a filet? So simple. Besides ambiance and service...I'll sadly give the experience a 1 star. read more

I had an amazing dinner here the other night with my husband. I had the 333 martini and it was classic and lovely to enjoy with the sunset. I recommend the filet trio, it is delicious and very filling while my husband had the ribeye. Daniel, who had been running food, had answers to every question and seemed to know the menu very well. David was excellent and made us feel at home! Will be back when we come back into town read more

This review is for their Happy Hour which is one of our favorite in Oceanside. Currently it is 3-6pm in their bar area DAILY which is awesome. We have been visiting about once a week or once every two weeks for the last few months since we discovered it. The HH is only in the bar area and it can get busy. Understandably so since they have some good items on the menu for bites and sips. We usually go with the filet skewers and calamari for snacks. However the Caesar salad, shrimp ceviche and truffle fries are also great choices all for $10 You could absolutely make a whole meal out of the choices like one of the tables near us did with each getting the salad, lobster bisque soup then Having an order of fries and calamari for the table plus two glasses of wine. Tons of food for about $40 (pre tax and tip a person) Restaurant overall is in a great location near the ocean. Only downside is there is no outside seating for the HH, but that's out of their control. read more

Had this place bookmarked for a while and honestly, I don't see what the hype was all about. The decor is dated, the sunset view was obscured by dirty glass Food was overpriced and less than mediocre, service was ok. We got cocktails and some starters: The shrimp ceviche was under seasoned canned fingernail sized shrimp and meh. The tuna tar tar was also lackluster and completely bland. The calamari was ok but was clearly frozen bagged Sysco type. I forget what the other thing we got was but it was equally underwhelming so much so that we decided not to order entrees and go somewhere else. read more

Wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant evening dining here, on this busy Saturday night. The manager Kevin introduced himself, saying he was recently assigned the position. Food and service were excellent. I had the scallops, oysters and mussel appetizer. The scallop entree was 10/10. Highly recommend.

We made reservations for Christmas Day and we had an exceptional experience. The table service and food was phenomenal. The staff were very helpful and always checked on us. Everyone enjoyed their food choices. I ordered the tomahawk pork chop, it was very tender and grilled perfectly. The seafood paella had plenty of assorted seafood and was delicious. Our kids enjoyed the salmon but the portions were on the petit side. Can't wait to come back. We highly recommend trying their menu. Side note-Bring change for the metered parking and there is a parking lot behind the hotel. read more

Such a beautiful location and the service was good. My daughter's boyfriend and my husband both ordered the burgers and they were burnt. Both the buns and burger were heavily charred and they had both asked for them to be cooked medium. My husband took 3 bites and refused to finish his meal. I wanted to say something to our waitress, but my husband didn't want to make a big deal as we were there to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday. read more

The restaurant was fully booked but we took our chances and walked in. The front lounge/bar area is first come first serve and my family was lucky to snag a few tables together and seat the 7 of us including an infant. The hostess set it up and had us seated right away. It was as chaotic as you can imagine with an infant and hungry toddler but our server was very attentive and accommodating. She took our order and brought out the kid's food first (lobster bisque and mac n cheese). Then the main food came out, a variety of meats, some scallops, and a seafood tower. All the food came out delicious. One medium-well steak came out pretty raw and they kindly put it back on the grill. The brownie sundae was warm and tasty too. Great food with wonderful service. read more

We came to 333 this past Saturday to celebrate birthdays w another couple and thoroughly enjoyed our meal & experience! The wait staff was polite but not excessive, allowing us to keep to our conversations. My husband & I split the beet & burrata salad, which was interesting, delicious & beautiful! We both had fillets and were so pleased w them. We liked the potatoes that are served alongside. We also ordered the brussel sprouts, which were very tasty (not greasy) and flavorful. They kindly acknowledged our birthdays with a slice of delicious chocolate ganache style cake. We also tried the s'mores dessert and liked it too. We hope to return for another special occasion! read more

TRANSPARENCY. HONESTY. INTEGRITY This is literally the most important business practice. Extremely disappointed that they didn't disclose the surcharge BEFORE we sat down. We came for a pre Thanksgiving dinner 9 of us and this ruined our evening. It's not about the cost it's about the honesty. Don't tell me AFTER the bill comes and give me some BS excuse. Very disappointed/upset with this POOR practice especially from a prestigious location. The worst part you know who suffers? The workers. Because some customer won't even leave a tip even though it's not the waiting staffs fault. Maybe try being HONEST and I can guarantee your customers will appreciate it and more of your staff will be tipped accordingly! UNACCEPTABLE! read more

We terribly regretted coming here for Christmas dinner. On Christmas evening my boyfriend, baby sister, and I walked in around 6:30 to have dinner. 333 had a Christmas 3 course menu, $75 per adult and $25 per kid, beverages not included. They closed at 7 but still sat us which was kind. If I knew that meant we wouldn't get the same service then we would've just left. It took about 15 minutes to get our beverages from the time we placed the order. It took about 45 minutes for our waiter to ask what we wanted to eat. Our waiter took 20 minutes to return with a straw, but when he came back with he still had no straw. My soup was so small and was served with no spoon, had to wait again for a spoon. He came back to ask if we wanted more drinks. I asked him not to serve my 8 year old a SECOND Shirley temple, he brought back a Shirley temple and brought back the wrong drink for boyfriend 15 minutes later. I felt like a forgotten customer. The $75 prime rib was supposed to be medium rare, it was so rare. The fat on it was so pink and squishy it made me feel sick just cutting it off. I love medium rare steak but this was very disappointing. Desert- baby sister had the option of ice cream Sandwhich. Rock hard. She couldn't bite into it I got a pecan tart that was meant to be served with vanilla ice cream- no vanilla ice cream.. but we saw other waiters take out THE SAME THING to other tables with ice cream. I asked if the ice cream was included like it SAID ON THE MENU. Waiter said "I can bring some out for you if want" If I want? Is that not what we're paying for??? I looked at my boyfriend and was like "did we do something wrong??" Boyfriends chocolate cake was meant to come with vanilla ice cream too, it didn't. Ice cream comes out- no spoon. Again. Waiter never came back so I just ate it with a fork.. The bill after tip was $270. We felt sick paying that price for terrible service, and extremely mediocre food. My boyfriend paid for it alone but I sent him half after cause I couldn't let him suffer alone. We both just couldn't believe the experience we had from a very nice restaurant that was charging people $75 each. Also- if you wanted a filet mignon or lobster it was +$50.. just ridiculous. 333 robbed us. read more

We love this restaurant. The food is amazing. The service is great. Erin always provides amazing service. A must visit!

Going to start with a caveat here...Have had hit and miss times. Today was a big hit!!! Bro got the tastiest steak sando with perfect fries. BIL got the ahi Nicoise salad and Wow!! My Green Goddess salad was completely underwhelming (not taking off a star...I'm sure if I said something, it would've been rectified). Affogato dessert shared by three could've easily been ordered by each of us and yummed up. But, after all we had, including the just out of the oven rosemary bread with maple butter....Well, we were well sated. Thank you, Kelsey and all for the attentive service! read more

Update: David (restaurant GM) was very gracious. He offered us a chance to try the restaurant again, and comp'ed our lunch. No restrictions on what we could order, but since the ahi nicoise was the item I dinged them for, I ordered that again. my wife had the green goddess salad. Both were excellent. A full portion of ahi for the nicoise, and a very tasty dressing on the green goddess, with a nice portionof crab and shrimp. We really like other restaurants we've visited in the Cohn group, and I thank the ownership of the group and the GM for their very kind response. read more

Drove 40m for lunch at 333 Pacific. Reviewed the menu on our drive. Our order from the menu was two 333 greens, both with grilled chicken. After taking our order, the server returned & stated that the restaurant had no chicken available at all. How can a restaurant advertise an item, how can a restaurant not have any chicken at all? As a result our server offered substitutions and we went with steak on one & grilled shrimp on the other. When the bill arrived, the "adds" were $15.95 & $16.50 (3 pieces of Shrimp). This was on top of the greens of $15.50 each. These adds were a bit excessive especially considering that the restaurant did not have what was advertised. Well, lesson learned & we will explore other nearby restaurants going forward. read more

First off, the staff was so friendly and attentive...and the appetizers were great! Went in for Happy hour on a Friday ( so happy they had that because a lot of places don't have happy hour on fridays). The wine pour was huge, the Brussels sprouts and fries were excellent! Will definitely be back soon! read more

We had Easter there and the food was very good! Tasty soup, crudo, steaks. The only prix fixe dessert we cared for was the shortcake - weird dessert options. Server and busser were super friendly. The only reason it's 4 stars in our opinion is the food and drinks took forever to come out. We were one of first seated when it opened and 20 mins to get out 5 specialty drinks on their Easter menu--surprised they didn't have them mixed and ready. Another 20 for first course. 30 for main after that. 25 for dessert. Shocked how slow the kitchen was with no apologies at any point. Wouldn't return given how long it took to dine but we had a nice Easter. We also bought a $300 bottle of wine and at no point did that up the level of service or speed for a table dropping that much cash--which was about the price of five lunches. read more

Wow, this place is amazing!! Right by Oceanside beach, this was a beautiful restaurant that we were able to dine at last minute in the bar area. Their bar area is huge, and they have actual tables with chairs so you don't have to sit at a high top which allowed us to experience the restaurant without feeling like we are just at the "bar". We found this place nearby, and I was excited cause I saw Sushi in a promoted picture, but they do NOT have sushi. They still have seafood and steaks but I was really excited for sushi. The closest thing to that however was their Ahi Tuna tartare which was pretty good, but I also saw a picture of this big square of tuna tartare and the one I received did not look like that, so heads up some pictures/ menu items you see may be outdated! They welcomed us with their rosemary bread with maple butter which was delicious and all the appetizers were very good. The lobster bisque was a little big though, if you plan to eat a lot, I wish they had a cup size instead of a large bowl. We actually got very full off of appetizers, the pork belly was phenomenal, and the skewers were very filling as well. The waitress raved about the garlic smashed potatoes, but they did not look like the smash potatoes I know, they were just cubed and very garlicky but still good. The service was great though, our waitress was very sweet and helped us celebrate a special occasion. Will likely return when we are in town, but I would've loved it they kept the sushi on the menu (= read more
