the Zot-N-Go has recently become part of my morning routine at UCI. It is a very convenient location for coffee, cold drinks, snacks, and even meals. So far, I have only tried their coffee and donuts, which are both excellent for the price! If you're going to get coffee, bring a reusable cup to save 50 cents each drink. Sometimes they offer a coffee with 30% more caffeine, for those who are in need of caffeine for extra productivity in the office or elsewhere. The only downside of this location are the prices, which are almost double compared with other convenient stores and grocery stores. Given this, I recommend only buying snacks as a last resort, as it is not really a bang for your buck. I really do enjoy the staff here. They are a bunch of energetic students who have obviously been trained to provide the best customer service possible. Nice work! read more

Prices are a little high compared to the Albertsons down the street, but hey. When you're on campus, it's convenience is what you compromise your budget to trade off. They have good deals here and there like $1 Brisk and $2 Neuro. They also sell scantrons, so whenever I'm rushed for an exam, I drop by here and drop a quarter for a quick scantron. It's definitely a time-saver and I'd say overall, I'm glad we have a little UCI market here. They have sales here and there, which is really appreciated. It's convenient for people who just want to pick up a bagel, need a quick pick me up, or need the microwave. I also like their little pseudo-farmer's market thing where you can buy fruits and also snacks by weight, such as chocolate covered pretzels. Service here for me has always been quick, but never rushed. This is a very well stocked convenience store on campus! Best part is you don't have to leave campus to pick up a snack, drink or even ice cream. Prices were on par with 7-11 - but you do pay for the convenience. Vast selection of snacks, drinks, frozen foods, pastries, fresh coffee and even general medicine cabinet stuff. You can also pick up your scantrons here as well. Items were well-stocked, store was well-lighted and clerks are generally friendly. read more

I'm going to be perhaps uncomfortably frank. Zot N Go has nearly everything: vegan fare, popsicles, exam materials, salsa, and maxi pads. Name it, they've got it, albeit for a slightly steeper price than say Rite-Aid. But it's right there on the side of the Student Center on campus. Can't beat its convenience and variety. Oh, and random tip: the bulk candy/nuts is a good deal. I'm not entirely sure on the price per ounce, but I get a fair handful or so, and it somehow comes out to less than a buck each time. UM, I'm already paying $3000+/quarter for my education, you don't need to break my bank account even more and make me pay $932842 for a candy bar. It's convenient, yes, but cmon, give us a break with the prices. Besides the cost, the place is clean and has a big variety. Okay let's see Pros: Convenient location right on campus. Lots of snacks and basic toiletries. They have vegan options. They have fresh pastries but they tend to run out pretty quick each day. I used to go here a lot this past summer since a majority of my classes were nearby at HH. One day, the guy ringing me up started busting up laughing. He apologized and said that it's just ridiculous how expensive everything in Zot N Go was. You pay a lot for convenience. It's a great concept though. They even have a little section for toiletries, granted you'll pay a fortune for it. I'd imagine it'd be great if you were a freshman without a car. This place is the total convenience store, HOWEVER, I feel like this place is consisted of ONLY ITEMS THAT STUDENTS LIKE...not like a typical connivence store. When I'm tired of the two places at which I normally find edible on campus, and I feel like taking a walk on a lovely day, I mosey over to Zot-N-Go to pick up some snacks. Usually I grab some pre-made sushi (which is actually decent here) and some sort of Sobe or other from their gigantic selection of cold drinks. They have weird snacks...I love it! Randomly, they also have various things that students living on-campus might need like toiletries, medicine, condiments, etc. It's very convenient...but you pay big time ($) for the convenience!! read more

THE GIST: Better than not having a convenience store on UCI Campus! OVERALL: It's a 3 star on price and selection and a 4 star on convenience... but we're not ready to give it a full 4.. When you are hungry and really want some conven-y food (packaged snacks, sandwiches, ramen, refrigerated drinks galore, donuts, etc...) and just don't feel like going to the food court...then this is the place to hit up. Zot N Go is UCI's version of a convenience store. In fact, it's nicer than most convenience stores. As the name implies, it's the perfect place to go when you need to get something on the run. I came here for a number of reasons. 1. Coffee 2. Bagels - I suggest putting your bagel in the toaster oven! 3. Scantrons, pencils, and erasers for my exams 4. Snacks (protein bars, chips, candy, etc.) 5. Frozen meals to take home for "dinner" 6. Sandwiches/Salads for lunch 7. Drinks (water, soda, gatorade, etc.) Quick lines and friendly service. So why only 3 stars? First, it's a convenience store, so there's really nothing too special about it. Second, it's overpriced relative to Albertsons or other similar stores. I used to live on campus, so Zot and Go was convenient, but definitely not convenient enough. The hours are strange, and worse of all- the lines move slow. It is a very convenient store feel, but kind of like a pricier, lacking, version. If you live on campus and am without a car, this little store can be a lifesaver. read more

There's a good variety of stuff at Zot n Go, there's candy and gum, household items, beauty products, medicine, cereals, cookies, chips, drinks, canned soups to go, ramen bowls, fresh fruit, oatmeal, mac n cheese cups, sandwiches, ice cream, frozen meals and fresh coffee, tea and pastries. Some of the stuff can get pricey, but if you pay attention, sometimes they have pretty good deals going on like the $5 lunch combo: sandwich, chips and a 20oz drink; and during finals week last quarter, energy drinks and chips were BOGO. There's 99 cent bags for nuts, a piece of fruit, granola bars, and poptarts for if you miss breakfast. Also the yogurt parfaits and Grab N Go sandwiches are really good! Skip the line at Starbucks and grab a coffee at Zot n Go. Its only $.99 if you bring in your own cup or mug, any size! My favorites are the French Roast, and Hazelnut. The bagels are pretty decent too and have my favorites like blueberry and cinnamon raisin. Toast it to your liking and add cream cheese or butter for just $.40 more. And like everyone has already said, this place is really great for convenience. If you're a girl and your time of month comes unexpectedly, there's feminine products to choose from too, which I know for some people has really come in handy. Oh, Zot bucks are also accepted so you know at the end of the quarter if you still have points, Zot n Go is the place to spend it. ;) Just stock up on random stuff, shampoo, or body wash, ace bandages, something. read more

If you go to UCI and need a quick snack to take with you to where ever your schedule takes you, this place is pretty convenient. I've almost never seen a real line and it really quick. I come here when it's on my way to a class and need a drink or something. As a store it's okay. I can get what I need but I feel if I lived in the dorms or anything I would expect a little more. It's a campus sundries store, so why 4 stars? Well most importantly I can get a good cup of coffee for $0.99 (refills) and my 11th cup is free. The coffee they use is Eco Grounds. Its an organic bean and the company fallows some pretty hip environmental values. I'm no tree hugger, but it feels good to purchase good stuff from good people. There's a better known Seattle based coffee est. on campus, but I hate them. Their coffees taste sour and bitter...all the time...at all their establishments. At one time I would have lauded their $5 lunch special, but the quality of the pre-made sandwiches has suffered these past two years. As a sundries store they have some expected choices for personal hygeine, school supplies, sandwiches, candy, snacks, cold drinks, and frozen meals. The only thing worth coming here for is the sushi. Everything else is grossly overpriced. Even if you're in dire need of notebook paper, bandaids, detergent or allergy medicine, Albertsons' isn't even that far away. It's a convinience store, not much else to say. It is slightly overpriced but that's to be expected and they take zotbucks.

Pricey but always has been a lifesaver and is rather fresh when it comes to their sushi, parfaits, wraps, pitas, and coffee. Try to avoid the drinks because they are a little over priced but everything else is fair game. I do recommend the Sushi at this location, for some reason on campus it seems to be the freshest and has a date labeled on it that is always legit. read more
