$21 for a lychee tea and this grilled chicken sandwich the tea was great and the girl who helped me out was really nice. There is just one little problem. The grilled chicken sandwich doesn't seem to have any CHICKEN there is only bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes and pickles... I took it back to confirm that I got the right sandwich and I did - I was eating with my friends. I took a bite of the $15 sandwich I got had them all try it and they asked me where I got my BLT ... none of us tasted chicken.

    Not coffee..

Watch posted hours. Place not always opened when it should be. It sure how coffee is as they were closed during my visit.

As an undergrad at UCI, I spent a lot of my time in the Science Library or Rowland Hall. There were never many food options in this area besides Cafe Expresso and Starbucks. When you have to study or just get to the next class, you settle for whatever's around. I've tried only one thing here and that is the breakfast crossiant. Is it overpriced for what it is? Yes. Is the staff painfully slow? Yes. Is it a good crossiant sandwich though? Yes. It gets the job done and I preferred this breakfast crossiant over the sandwiches at Starbucks. It's definitely worth trying if you're in that area.

I sometimes come here for lunch because it's next to my chemistry lab. I've gotten some wraps and a sandwich before ($10-$13), and I liked the wraps better. I knew beforehand that most of the wrap is going to be lettuce, so if you like salads then this is for you! The wraps were very tasty and while it's mostly like a salad, it was pretty filling. I have only tried one drink here before which was the matcha latte and I wasn't a big fan (so I can't say much about other drinks). The service is pretty nice and since there's only a couple of workers, obviously it can be slow when it's busy, but I get my food pretty fast when it's not that crowded. I like how there's free water and condiments offered on a table next to the shop, and every time I've been here, the shop always has some Taylor Swift song on which I love. Whoever has the aux slays

This is actually on the UCI campus next to Reines Hall. I thought this little permanent cart place only sold coffee! I haven't tried their coffee though...But to my suprise, they have food items. Their sandwiches are delicious especially the croissant breakfast ones. They have a new chicken teriyaki bowl which is surprisingly good! The chicken didn't look like how chicken teriyaki usually does but it was yummy! It came with a "salad" with bell peppers and such and TWO PICKLES! yay! Haha. The ladies working were really nice also. My only complaint is that it's expensive....but there's a sign that basically says since the owner's price went up, everything is inflated 10%. Lame. But, quality ingredients, fast, fresh & convenient.

A little expensive for the average college student, but sandwiches are tasty and filling. Good choice for a quick meal before class.

Hands down some of the best coffee in OC. If you don't like sweet, don't get a drink with flavoring. Or ask them to adjust. Simple! If you want something yummy and different, try their seasonal menu. I have never once felt like staff was rude. Every interaction has been authentic and genuine. The best. Lastly, long lines happen because this place has grown A TON post-COVID. They're also in the same building as a church, so get there early on the weekend or sit in line and enjoy the atmosphere. There's a friendly crowd there. Thank you Lion & Lamb for being a consistent go-to since Covid. You guys rock.

For our drinks, we got two signature drinks: *lucky matcha* and *cookie butter latte* They're both on the sweeter side but still good. They live up to the name and description. You're able to taste the marshmallow in the matcha and the biscoff and cinnamon on the latte. For food, we got *avocado toast* The bread was very fresh, thick and moist. My favorite part was the pickled onions. I'd definitely get it again. And the *breakfast burrito* is okay. Nothing outstanding - they did tell us they get them made a day before and they warm up upon order.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

My husband decided to go with the cherry one and they were both so good but definitely the favorite one was the yacht club! I love the ingredients and also that you can customize it a little bit. The flavor of it was so refreshing and the toasted coconut was so good. The cherry smoothie was tart but with a hint of sweet cream or coconut? Not sure but it was very good! I also noticed they have Giselles! I love Giselles desserts but unfortunately they didn't have the donuts or the cake pops so decided to skip it. In addition to smoothies, they also have fresh pressed juices, açaí bowls, and grab and go items like chia seed pudding, protein bars, gluten free cakes, and vegan desserts. I got the Strawberry Swag smoothie (imitation of the Hailey Bieber smoothie from Erewon). It was alright, but I'd rather it be a bit thicker. It was very runny. The women who worked the shop seemed very overwhelmed or annoyed even. There wasn't a big welcome or much customer service at all. I'm sure they're working hard because they also have to-go orders too. I am a big believer that a little kindness goes a long way.
