I went back to Zeke's today to co-work with a colleague while I'm in town and I'm really glad that I did. I arrived around 1pm and it was pretty busy, but my colleague had gotten there earlier and got us a table in the back room. I immediately ordered lunch upon getting settled. Squirrely was super nice & helped me decide on the Reuben with fries, and boy oh boy, I'm glad they did. I ate every single fry within minutes of receiving them, they didn't even need a dipping sauce. The Reuben was amazing, the corned beef was so tender. Their house made sauerkraut rye was perfect. Later, I ordered a Pumpkin Spice Latte, even though I said I'd wait til October for Pumpkin. It was perfect. I was happy because the first time I had coffee from Zeke's I thought it tasted burnt. It's a great place to have a yummy meal, a great cup of coffee and hang out. There's a covered patio with tables, and plenty of seating inside as well. It's cozy, yet has a spacious feel. The staff is awesome.

What an awesome space! Pro-tip, sit in the baking area to enjoy the aroma. The deluxe breakfast sandwich is delish and make sure to choose from their vast bread selection. Service is friendly.

Mobtown shrimp and grits

I truly LOVE Zekes, but this 20 dollar shrimp and grits is not it. The grits have the texture of gummy mashed potatoes and its very off putting. However the toppings are delicious, the flavor is there but the texture is all wrong.

Zeke's is the perfect place to grab a coffee and chill. Today, I decided on a Vietnamese iced coffee and a cranberry muffin. The coffee was strong, yet balanced; the muffin was average, nothing spectacular. Aside from coffee and pastries, Zeke's offers an array of sandwiches and small bites... and surprisingly, there's also a cocktail menu. The space is spacious and clean, suitable for working or studying. Service is fast and friendly. Street parking is limited but there's a free parking lot in the back. Definitely swing by if you're in the neighborhood. Support local!

Ended up at Zekes Coffee for breakfast, as it's a place I pass all the time but have never visited. The line to order was pretty long, but it gave me time to look over the menu. I decided on the chicken biscuit, but unfortunately, once I got to the register to order, I was told they were out of biscuits. I was so set on the chicken biscuit that it took me a minute to look at the menu again and settle on something else. I went with a basic bacon egg and cheese bagel and a chai latte. I enjoyed the latte, and the bagel was fine. I'll have to make my way back for the chicken biscuit another day.

I've been stopping in regularly for about a month now. Sometimes to do work and sometimes just for a sodie. This cozy cafe has indoor and patio seating, free WiFi, and clean bathrooms. Staff are very friendly, and this location is a good community hub. I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. But if I had to recommend anything it'd be the Nitro Cold Brew, or a Peach Italian Cream Soda. The Nitro Cold Brew almost looked and tasted like an iced stout beer. It was smooth and had a thick head, while providing that much needed pep in my step. It was definitely a head-turner and had other customers asking what I was drinking! I think what really hooked me in was the Italian sodas, especially since I don't have much of a sweet tooth. There are a ton of flavors here, but of the bunch I've tried here so far, peach is the best. Super refreshing and lightly sweet. Perfect anytime of day. Today I tried their lox bagel, with their homemade lox. It was pretty good, with generous portions for the toppings. The poppy seed bagel was a bit dense but tasty.

Zeke's on Harford Road never disappoints! My boyfriend and I stopped in for cappuccinos and ended up leaving with a bag full of pastries. He had the raspberry danish--absolutely fantastic--and I went for the blueberry pop tart (highly recommend heating it up!) and the brownie-stuffed croissant. I also grabbed a coffee mug with two mini Zeke's coffee samples for daycare, plus a brownie and cinnamon bun for later. I typically swing by just for coffee, but their variety of baked goods is too good to pass up. I'll definitely be back before Valentine's Day! If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and stop in. They also have plenty of seats if you want this to be your office for the day I love the vibe here and service is always great!

Zekes is my favorite coffee shop in the city! It's family friendly, welcoming with a robust menu. I love their lunch sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. There was a line to the door when we showed up and they got the line down so quickly. The Vietnamese coffee is my favorite!

Although this place is not far from my house, I still never quite make it here. I was in the area again to rediscover this gem. All of the staff were upbeat and quirky, which made for a pleasant experience. I got a brownie and an ice coffee and sat in their outside sunroom area (perfect for getting the feel of outside, without having to be in the blazing sun). I need to make it a priority to come back for food because that will really seal the deal!

Much LOVE and shoutout to Zekes today specially LARA! I hope I caught your name correctly. You are one of the many reasons why Zekes is a success! I was having a hell of a day! Additionally, with dietary restrictions and yet, you took my order with care knowing how insanely busy this cafe gets is impressive! I'm sure many of your patrons will agree with me on this. I also love you remembered my name. Thank you thank you and I'll continue to stop by when I'm in this side of the town.

Before I moved to Baltimore, Zeke's was the only coffee shop I had heard of. My friend was a huge fan of theirs and she had periodically sent me bags of their beans. You better believe when we moved here, Zeke's was the first coffee shop we visited. What I love about Zeke's is the sheer number of roasts they will have available at any time. Walk into their shop and their shelves are packed full of various roasts and blends. I can always find something that interests me for my home coffee needs. Beside their coffee shelves, right by their entrance, is an illustrated graphic explaining the ingredients in all the different types of coffee. I love this! It means that not only will coffee snobs feel at home in their shop but the novice drinkers can be comfortable as well. Don't know the components of a drink? Just take a look at their wall. Zeke's has an extensive menu of hot and iced drinks. It is one of the largest I've seen. I've tried more drinks here than probably any other shop because of their menu size and constantly rotating "specials". 9 out of 10 times I enjoy these drinks. Zeke's also has a large variety of baked goods including a bunch of vegan options. The vegan chocolate croissants are gigantic! So, why not five stars? Mainly the parking. It stinks here. The lot is crowded and small and hard to navigate. I spend more time parking than ordering and drinking my coffee. I have begun to combat this by parking far away and walking.

This is where Zekes Coffee started! I've been a fan of Zekes for a while - it was definitely one of the first local coffees I tried in Baltimore. I often get their bags of coffee from the farmers market so it's always a treat to visit their storefront. This was my second time here - the first time I came with a friend and tried a poppyseed Hamantaschen. The pastries and coffee shop here aren't high end, but the coffee is good and the store is so big - it's definitely more industrial feeling than the more hipster coffee joints you see popping up! The staff is fast and friendly and there is an area you can sit with dogs separate from the main area. I got their cafe con panna this time. Solid spot and definitely a neighborhood staple.

Zekes coffee is a friendly neighborhood restaurant that is definitely worth visiting. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with coffee and food suggestions. I've only tried the breakfast and coffee and I enjoyed it. It's a very busy spot so that is a good sign! The line can be long but they move very fast. Plenty of parking on the street and in the back.

I've recently started working in the area and they are supper close thus I decided to try them out…read more I was very excited when I saw it was Korean owned however their K-food section is only two items; Bulgogi Dupbap & the Bulgogi Sub. The rest of the menu is American stuff. I've as of now tried both of these and very content with the taste and filling of these two, the price is reasonable per the portion and yummyness($12.49) plus tax about $13.25. The only thing I would change a bit is making sure that the juice from the bulgogi doesn't soak the bread too much cuz then it's mushy. I like a crunchy texture to my subs, but the may be just my preference. Both the son and the mom are super nice, if you become a regular it's very nice to have people know what you want right away. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly. I hope that they can incorporate more korean food to their menu, at least 2 more that have a different protein so we have a bit more variety. Though I understand why the options for kfood are limited given the area's population. Things to keep in mind: - When you order let them know if you want it to go or to eat there. Nobody can read minds, but they will do their best to ask you prior to packaging to confirm. - It can get busy so sometimes transaction may take longer because people are multitasking. - - - Don't rip out the receipt, you might be taking the wrong copy. Wait for the cashier to hand it to you or simply ask. -If you have questions about a product, ask them and don't assume. Yes. There is a big menu and pamphlets available and they provide brief item description but if that's not clear, just ask. They also have prepackaged salads, fruit and a few sweet treats, along with MissVickies chips, and bottle drinks. It's a cafe so the basics. Overall, really nice experience. Tots recommended :3

The service was good, and the dishes were tasty, but nothing that really stood out. That being said, I miss the old owner--there was something special about his presence that made every visit feel more welcoming and personal. I hope the new management keeps things moving in the right direction. I'll definitely return, but it's just not quite the same without the old vibe.

I had the Southern Slammer Sandwich (with the grits) and my sister had the Fried Chicken, Biscuit and Gravy Omelet (with the hash browns). We couldn't stop saying how good they were! The service was on point, everyone was very nice, and the noise level was fine. Here is something I literally have never experienced anywhere else: My sister has a couple of food allergies and she gave the waitress a piece of paper where she listed out what she can and cannot have. A few minutes later, a lovely young woman (I think she said she was a manager) came out and discussed the list with my sister in detail, just to make sure the restaurant got it exactly right. My sister almost cried! As far as timing goes: They don't take reservations, but they have an efficient system -- when you arrive, they take down your name and phone number, tell you how long the wait will be, and then text you when it's your turn. They told us 40 minutes but it turned out to be only 20, so it's good we hadn't wandered too far away. Next time we're in Baltimore, we'll definitely be back.
