Matcha oat latte
Breana S.

Yesterday was my first time sitting at the coworking table and I will be back! I loved the decorations inside of Catalog but I especially loved the fact that the large window was open so you could sit on the ledge and be both inside and outside. I ordered the matcha oat latte and the umami breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was an interesting taste, good but I would probably skip it next time unless you love umami taste. Service was also good.

I've visited Catalog Coffee multiple times but have always: *Taken my order to go *Only ordered a Honey Bunches of Oat Latte and/or bagged coffee The Latte is pretty good. It is sweeter than coffee I normally drink so I put it in the "dessert coffee" tier. Definitely a good signature drink that keeps me returning. Catalog sells, and uses, Passenger Coffee (from Lancaster, PA). I'm a fan and so I have purchased bags during my visits. The bags are higher priced and smaller than what you can get at other local shops but the flavor and quality can be better. Overall, I am a fan of the Catalog Coffee Specialty drinks and will continue stopping by when I'm in the mood for a "dessert coffee". Who knows, maybe I'll even get around to trying one of their vegan menu items?

This is a super hipster coffee shop. The feel, the drink offers, and the food. They had nitros, freddos, and interesting seasonal flavors. Personally, the espresso was not to my taste, but the latte was still good. I got the seasonal special, cardamom orange latte. I was told it was more orange than cardamom. In the first few sips that was not true, but as the dried orange sat in the drink it got more orange forward. Fun to drink, but wouldn't get it again. This place is worth a try, but I'm not rushing back.

Ive decided to give more patronage to local coffee cafes instead of chain options. I decided on this cafe shop today. Its located in Hampden's busy area with very hard to find parking. I entered after waiting on the outside because its apparently a popular spot. After looking over the menu I decided on an iced vanilla latte made with oatmilk and a avocado, egg, turkey sausage on sourdough and a side of french toast. Yes extra because I want to try everything that caught my eye today. Prior to food coming out I found a seat at the community style table as the other seats for more intimate setting were full. I then went to the bathroom to wash my hands. It was clean and they have two gender neutral bathrooms. Food came out. The french toast was cold and okay. My sandwich was made with fried egg with runny yolk. I had to send it back for fried egg without runny yolk. They were go friendly and caring. The only hiccup was they provided a new sandwich that came out with runny fried eggs again. However, 3 is a charm. It came out correct and tasty. The mode/atmosphere with patrons, staff and decor gives hipster and happines with welcoming to all humans. Ill come back as I enjoy the vibe.

Their nitro cold brew iced tea is excellent. It's what I crave on the weekends. Staff here is always friendly and kind. And the space is super cool. It belongs in Hampden.

I love coffee. Let me open with that. And catalog serves coffee up right! Their plain ole coffee is my favorite in Hampden. It's smooth and not acidic and pretty reasonably priced! The staff here is so welcoming and kind. I also love any place that does a rewards program, and catalogue does! Their food? Also amazing. I love their breakfast burritos. They're MASSIVE. They're two meals for me and I'm not a small human with a small appetite. I appreciate that they source locally. That is important to me! However, catalog is the pricier of the coffee shops in Hampden, but it also has the best location and is the newest. Seating can be a bit hard to get, I appreciate that they encourage time limits on the weekend, and ask that single computer users sit at the communal table. Over all, big fan! Great coffee and food, at a cute bright shop, with great people serving it up.

i've been here several times now, and it gets kind of crazy on weekends! the service is always super nice (i stopped in for a cup of water once and they happily provided) and the food is delicious! i usually order a cup of tea and the bird banh. the bird banh is a little spicy and has a really fresh and well rounded flavor profile. on weekdays, this is a good spot to get some work done. be aware that they have a 90 minute laptop limit, and laptops cannot be used at the smaller tables on weekends. i like that this facilitates human to human interaction, and if you want to work for longer or on certain days then you can look for a different spot. this is one of my favorite coffee shops around.

Nice coffee shop, but a bit on the pricier end for a café. I got the Bmore Breakfast Banh Mi ($13.50). You get to customize the type of bread you want and how you want your egg cooked. I chose ciabatta with an over easy egg. I only got half a sandwich, which I thought was such a small portion for the price. Keep in mind this is not your traditional Bahn Mi. There was good acidity from the pickled carrots. Although I was not a big fan of the mint. I feel like they should've used cilantro instead. I got their popular 16 ounce Honey Bunches Latte which cost $8. I personally do not think it was really worth $8, but it was good. I ordered it extra hot, but when I received it, it was more warm than hot. I also got the 16 ounce Nitro Iced Coffee for $6. It tasted like a normal iced coffee nothing to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. There's plenty of seating inside and the service was fast. They have a coffee station where you can add your own dairy and syrup. They only had half-and-half and oat milk at the coffee station- no whole milk. The half-and-half carafe was empty so I had to ask them to fill it up. They were kind enough to do it in a quick manner. In regards to parking, there's only street parking.

Have visited Catalog a few times now. Modern Decor with some fun decorations on the shelves behind the counter-mini sports Bobble head collection, Rooster statue to name a few. They have merch for sale as well featured coffee for sale from area Roasters. Nice mix of music piping through the speakers (I.e Marley, soft and upbeat instrumental etc.). An inviting atmosphere where you want to stay for a bit-I see why they have the "please be courteous and limit your stay to 90 minutes or less" table tent. Note-They close the kitchen an hour before closing time. I ordered a spicy Mocha which has some spicy notes but somehow drinks like a tea. Something different and enjoyed it. Have tried a couple of breakfast sandwiches- The Remington Scramble (my favorite) mushrooms, spinach cheddar and chives made for a tasty sandwich. "What the Kitchen Eats" was also very good although the Cito sauce overpowered the Paprika eggs. Friendly and upbeat service. You get the sense from watching them make the coffee/tea drinks they are serious about the process-it carries through to their coffee/tea creations. Windows open up on nice days for an open air atmosphere. Another Hampden Coffee spot worth the stop.

Vegan Breakfast Banh

With prime real estate on the Avenue, Catalog Coffee is dishing out memorable cafe fair alongside top notch barista brews. The smaller store front hides the depth of the cafe's space, which is filled with ample tables for groups and individuals alike. The staff is beyond warm and welcoming, and drinks and food ordered at the counter are brought to you table side. I started with an oat milk latte, which was top notch. Based on the selection of beans for purchase, it's evident that Catalog knows good coffee. Pastries are supplied daily by nearby Maillard and the latte paired with their famous Morning Bun was a winning combo. After hearing and seeing rave review though, I had to try one of the breakfast sandwiches. As a vegetarian, I felt right at home with the menu, which is filled with ample choices. I went with the Vegan Breakfast Banh, which lived up to the hype! The fresh, pillowy with just the right level of chew ciabatta is the perfect vehicle for smashed scallion chickpeas, zippy pickled veg, pops of jalapeño spice and an addicting, slow burn spicy cito sauce. The sandwich was the perfect size for a satisfying but not overly full bite. Look forward to my next visit Catalog team!

Walt was pretty lengthy for a latte with sandwich to go. I would visit again just for beverage and not food.

Great spot for a morning coffee, but where they really shine is their sandwiches. Everything is prepared really well and the quality is evident. I've had various espresso drinks, and they have all been great. Even better is the friendly nature of the staff when you arrive. I don't think I've seen a coffee shop where the staff know as many names of the regulars as I have here. Just a great energy. Sad that they aren't open on Mondays anymore, as that is when I liked to come. They're still relatively new so expect the hours to continue shifting a bit as they figure out what works best.

I came by Catalog around 11 am on a Friday and wow this place was popular! Come early if you want a seat. I was between several sandwiches and the cashier was very nice and helpful in helping me decide what to get. The decor of this place is actually so cute and I love their sun logo, they even have free stickers for it! I took one to decorate my journal. The drinks came out quickly and the sandwich only took about 5 minutes. The service was also nice as they immediately offered a drink holder for me as well as giving me a bag for my sandwich box as I requested one. I can tell there are regulars here at this shop based on some conversations I overheard, and I understand why! There is free back-in street parking available on the street itself as well as potentially free metered parking on the side streets if you come before 12 noon (please check signage!). Mushroom Bahn Mi 5/5 omg, I must come back for this!! The veggies are soft and fresh and when paired with both the jalepeño and the spicy aioli sauce, the result is a mouth-watering tangy sandwich! It comes cut in half and you can probably have this for 2 meals if you're a small eater but I was super hungry after a workout so I devoured this entirely at once Iced Oat Matcha Latte 2/5, sadly this just didn't do it for me. I think it's an issue of matcha ratio to milk which is a fairly common occurrence at coffee shops. Their plastic cups are compostable and feature these cute crab images on them. Ginger turmeric hot tea 5/5, absolutely hit the spot. I normally pair two drinks with my meals and now that the weather is getting a little cooler, I can switch over to an ice and a hot drink! Even though I definitely overstepped this, the ginger was lovingly spiced and the tea almost tasted like a gingery latte with a milky aftertaste? I was a huge fan.

Delightful bread and breakfast fare. Open dining area and good service. Coffee has a pleasant hint of chocolate and caramel.

It's within the Johns Hopkins college campus & a neighborhood, so parking is really horrible. I ended up parking in a non spot and putting my hazards on. Inside is bigger than it looks and has a nice amount of seating as well. Since my time was limited, I didn't really get to explore the menu like I wanted, so I ordered a hazelnut latte and a ham & cheese croissant. Their croissants looked so good, I wanted one of each. They also had several toasts on their menu. I'll have to go back for sure! Th service was regular, you order, they tell you how much you owe and you pay. I got in my car and couldn't wait. My first bite was like a bite into heaven. Every bite was the same way, so delicious & delicate. I wish I had two. The latte was perfect, just the right amount of hazelnut. Kanom Cafe is a must try!

I was honestly bummed to learn the cookie butter latte was seasonal because it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. This time around, I tried the breakfast panini and added ham, along with an iced sugar cookie latte (another seasonal drink that was so good). The food was pleasant and comforting, and once again, the drink really stole the show. Overall, Llamas Corner nails the combo of great atmosphere, thoughtful food, and creative drinks. It was a community dinner party with Chef Char. You had a choice of a ticket with or without wine pairing. Me and my friend chose the ticket with wine pairing. The ticket included two glasses of wine. The menu was not printed online so we went in kinda blind on what was served. The first course was a roasted vegetable dish which consisted of broccoli, fingerling potatoes and pears with a Greek yogurt sauce. The second course was chicken thighs with risotto in a tomato sauce and the third course was a granola strudel with pears. There was also an arugula salad with grapefruit segments and parmesan cheese. I can be brutally honest, none of the courses were seasoned well. The first course was cold, the vegetables were wilted and did not mesh well. Was not expecting pears to be with my roasted vegetables. The second course was underwhelming as well. The food did not have any flavor and the dessert was not my favorite at all. I only ate the fruit out of the dessert. The chef did come out and let us know what each course was, however I felt that she really wasn't too personable with the guests. A few of the guests at the table were her friends so she only engaged with them, and of course they hyped her up, however the food was bland and underwhelming and the majority of the guests including myself did not finish their plates. If there is another community dinner, I hope it will be with a different chef in mind As I stated before my review is of the event, not the business as a whole.
