Came to yard house for happy hour and it was so good! ~ Poke nachos: 5/5 My absolute favorite thing to get from yard house!! ~ Boneless wings: whiskey bbq + korean: 4/5 The wings were so tender I lw thought it was fake meat. The whiskey bbq was interesting but good, I liked the onion on the korean flavor. ~ Pepino margarita: 500/5 This has to be my all time FAVORITE drink from yard house. It is the perfect combo of sweet, sour, slightly spicy. It's not overly sweet or alcoholy. I had to order two. ~ Calamari: 3/5 Love the sauces but the calamari was just not hitting for me this day ~ Sliders with truffle fries: 5/5 The meat was super juicy and I love that it comes with arugula. ~ Wisconsin fried cheese curds: 3.5/5 These were ok to me- super yummy if you're into cheese like that. I had a bad experience in this restaurant the service is not great when they give you attitude. Manager was also rude. I was not satisfied with this restaurant. Would never go back. Terrible service didn't even get a meal just appatizer. I just got my bill right after my appetizer. They definitely need friendlier service. I literally just walked out to the next restaurant, and i had a better experience at Ay Mi Pa Mexican Grill & Cantina! Definitely didn't feel judged there. I didn't feel welcomed at yard house! We have been going to this location for 10 years. The staff and food are great but the vibes are what we've always really loved about this restaurant. Changing the booths was quite literally the worst design choice I have ever seen a restaurant make. We have always, always sat at the booths because of how private they made such a huge restaurant feel. The vibe is completely ruined by the new tacky low booths and the chances of us coming back are extremely slim now. Many people go to specific restaurants for the ambiance over anything else and that's why we went here. Leave it to a big corp to make big changes that show they know nothing about their market! A big sacrifice just to add a couple more tables to their layout. read more

I had to double check my Yelp account. I couldn't believe I had never left a review for Yard House. My husband and I have come to this restaurant for well over five years. We really enjoyed this restaurant and have only experienced it as a couple. However, lately we decided to try to take the kids to this restaurant because it has a medium noise level and it seems as though this is a place that kids would do well. It did not disappoint. The high booths are desirable for those who have kids who occasionally stand up and want to be nosy. I gotta say, that I love this place my favorite app is hands-down, the poke nachos, but there are a number of favorites to choose from here and you really can't go wrong. For the first time ever, I tried a burger here and trust me, you need that truffle burger in your life. I added garlic aïoli to the burger and it was juicy and delicious. The soy truffle added a nice umami and the burger was cooked perfectly at a medium temperature. Next time I will make sure to add bacon. I upgraded the fries to truffle. Pro tip: Don't sleep on the happy hour. They have a number of great options that are actually a real deal you can get full off of the apps alone. read more

Unprofessional and unaware of the law -- disappointing experience. I stopped by Your House Bar looking forward to a simple beer. My ID had just expired that same day, and under California law, an ID is valid until 11:59 PM on the expiration date. I even came prepared with documentation verifying my ID was still active. Despite clearly being over 21, I was treated poorly and denied service. No effort was made to apply common sense, and it was obvious the staff either didn't know the law or chose to ignore it. It was my first time here, and unfortunately, it'll be my last. If a business can't train its staff to understand basic legal policies -- or use professional discretion when the facts are clear -- then I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. The customer service is nice, unless you might be a couple minutes late to your reservation, the female hostesses will act like it comes out of their pay. Me and my girlfriend had the ribeye steak, regular for her, Korean style for me. One of the best steaks I ever had at a restaurant. Whoever our waiter was either had a realy big ego or was not having a great day. Working in customer service, I understand sometimes it's just not your day, but to lack any accountability was disappointing. I brought my concerns to a manager and I was immediately taken care of- he heard me out, empathized with me, and took my order without feeling like a burden. This was my only experience at this Yard House like this, but it's very re assuring knowing they address things in real time and made the rest of our evening a lot more pleasant. Unbelievable... Disappointed... Disgusted... What on earth was this Coke that touched my lips, and why did it take 20 minutes for them to refill it. When I first took a sip of my Coke, it was ok. After about 2 or 4 sips, it immediately tasted like water, the flavor just grew legs and ran away I guess. I also watched my margarita sit on the bar across from me for 35 minutes without anyone touching it. I assumed it wasn't mine and they just forgot my order, but no. Yard House will be Yard House. I've never had an issue with a Yard House location other than the dreadfully long wait times to be seated. Once you're seated, however, the service is great and fast. We got our drinks and food in a timely manner and it was great. The star of our visit was the Chicken Nachos! IDK if it was the flower before we walked in but those were deliciousssss! And shout out to whoever made my strawberry mojito because that was so refreshing and yummy! My main entre is really always the slider appetizers ha! Broken glass found in our food. Server was great. Manager failed to accommodate since we found glass in our meal. One of the tacos (carne asada) had a piece of glass in it. My wife nearly broke her tooth on it. We showed a manager and he made excuses, stating there's no glass in the kitchen and this could have not happened. We gave them our information and the store manager said he would file an insurance claim. We will see. They would not comp the bill even though glass was found in our food. I'll edit post to include managers names once we get them. After we complained to store manager after they called us to pay bill, they eventually stated it was taken care of. I wish I had gotten the store managers name since the way the process was handled was terribly unprofessional. We are not "those people," we understand but they treated us like we had done some something wrong like fall in their restaurant, while they legitimately served us food with broken glass in it and failed to take accountability. read more

Ok so I've done a couple reviews at Yard House. And if you've read them, you know it's my favorite restaurant-hands down. I will use any excuse to go to Yard House and it's not for the beer. I love their food. I love their vegetarian options. Their orange chicken makes me happy. This visit was not their best effort. We did have a large party (5 adults/7 kids) so maybe that needs to factor in. I'm trying to throw them a proverbial bone because I love YARD HOUSE! I would like to compliment the young lady who booked our party and put us on the wait list. She had to get management approval but I wasn't bothered by that. *We didn't see our server for a long time after we sat down *No waters ever got filled *My son asked for a refill of soda early on which he never got. *The noise level was crazy from the TVs *My daughter-in-law ordered a dinner salad but never got it. They offered to bring it after she received her dinner. She did not love the Mac and cheese. *My daughter said she didn't want to ever go back. - her burger and fries were barely warm *Kids meal pizza was burned for one of my grand sons *My fries were not hot. On the good side: My husband thoroughly enjoyed his Korean steak sandwich My Gardein Nashville Hot Sandwich was perfect! My son loved his whiskey burger and fries My granddaughter loved her chicken tenders kids meal We tried three desserts and they were fabulous-chocolate lava cake, Oreo Brookie and cheesecake brûlée The kids got ice cream/sundaes and they loved them.
