It was ok! It was a busy Father's Day for the servers, wait time wasn't bad but they were in such a hurry to get customers in and out. We didn't have a little tablet to tell us our order, it was dead so the server had to manually input it and was upset said he wished he would've realized earlier. We left our table after our meal for not very long after realizing that I had forgotten my to go order which was a ribeye steak, carrots and mashed potatoes, went back to find out the bus guy threw it away. I went back and the manager asked me what I'd like her to do, we were in a rush, so I told her to just send a gift card. She said great idea, wrote down my information but still hasn't sent it. Just sucks you expect to take your food home, you're in a rush because you have kiddos and you get told when food is left on the table customers don't usually come back for it. The Yard is a great hang out place. Staff is professional, the beers are virtually unlimited, and it's easy to sit here for a long time. We visited on a Friday evening, and though it was packed, the staff moved everything along super efficiently. I tried the darkest beer in the house and loved it. I also tried Glenfiddich peat scotch (neat). Very nice, and in the right glass. (I watch Bar Rescue.) They were OUT of Firecracker Shrimp AND Calamari. Make a reservation on weekends or you'll get stuck waiting awhile. They have a nice outdoor patio with heaters everywhere. The inside is nice has lots of booths, tables, wrap around bar and bathrooms are clean. Even tho they had to take my plate back and I had to wait again because I asked for no avocado I still enjoyed my date. The drinks are okay not the best. Ordered the recovery, grapefruit Paloma, Long Island, and tequila tonic; the only one that was good was the recovery... All the others were lacking flavor or didn't taste quite right. Poke nachos were good and light, the spinach dip was average and the flatbread was meh (stale extra large saltines). Chicken bowl was delicious and filled with flavor, the red pepper flakes really make it, next time will order it blackened chicken instead of regular. The whiskey glazed salmon was a little sweet and tasted more like bbq. The veggies were undercooked, and "mashed potatoes" were fresh out of the box. Service was very very good kudos to Ruby. Came thru on a Friday night for a double date. The restaurant was pretty packed, but our party of four got seated within twenty minutes of putting our names in at the host stand. Our waitress came over shortly after being seated with waters in hand. She was really welcoming and remained engaged throughout our meal. We put in a drink order for a couple of blonde ales that were on tap, the classic mojito, and a strawberry mojito; and our food order included the poke nachos, the chicken nachos, the gardein wings, and the gardein orange chicken. Our drinks came out within a few minutes. The ales were cold and crisp, and the mojitos were spot on and fresh! It took a bit longer for our food to come out, but our waitress checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were alright. The food came out all at once, and everything looked and smelled awesome! Both sets of the nachos were packed full of their respective toppings, and everything was fresh (specifically the tuna on the poke nachos and the avocado). The gardein wing flavors were half buffalo and half bbq. They were delicious and had a great texture! The gardein orange chicken didn't disappoint as the chicken was tossed in a delicious orange glaze, there were some veggies, and a generous scoop of rice. Came here for happy hour. HH menu is 1/2 off select apps and $2 off drinks. It was hard to choose, but I narrowed it down to poke nachos after I saw a friends order. The nachos were really messy. I contemplated asking for a fork for a finger food. Poke was dropping everywhere. Yard House was a great group spot for Happy Hour (pre-pandemic) but -- My, my, my! -- I recently discovered (during the pandemic) that they have some of the best lobster garlic noodles outside of an Asian restaurant! As a garlic and seafood lover, I was impressed with the taste. I have had their regular Shiitake Garlic Noodles before but it was my first time trying their Lobster Garlic Noodles (LGC). I liked it so much, I had to come back the same week to order it again! Previous trips to Yard House for group Happy Hour used to be long wait times but, now, Take-Out ordering is quick and convenient, and can be done on their website. Easy-to-follow instructions were given on where to park for pickup. The service has always been good for me at this Yard House location so I have no complaints.
