Route 30 is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in town. I originally found out about the local brewery because I was looking for a place to play trivia with friends. They use King Trivia for their trivia night, which includes the use of cellphones to create teams, share questions and submit answers. Be sure to have your phone charged before the event. The good thing is that only one person on your team has to run the app. There are prizes for the top teams. The trivia crowd is lively, competitive and always respectful. In addition to the trivia, I've had a chance to try some of their food offerings as well as their drinks. The Brussels sprouts and pretzel bites are a solid choice, especially when sharing with vegetarians. The wings were also really good, even without the sauce. I'm not a big beer fan but I've tried a few of their ciders and seltzers and I've really liked them. They even had one that tasted like Baja Blast! read more

We love coming here. Their hangover burger is just amazing!!! Their maple siracha is out of this world. I didn't think I'd like it but I loveeee it! The fries are some of the best I've ever had. And the customer service is great. There's a really friendly tall gentleman. He even knows what we order already! My hubby loves the pineapple IPA. I forgot what it's called. I met my friend here today and had a great meal. The super hostess told me that it was smash double Burger Monday. This delicious burger was cooked medium and had onion and cheese. Their potato fries were cut like "slivers" and were crisp and tasted great. I also ordered the salad. It was made with very good greens, feta cheese and I think raisins. The IPA I had was refreshing An owner, Eric, stopped to say hello. He was very friendly. I asked for a suggestion for a house specialty beer. He offered, Requiem by Route 30 Brewing. I bought of their 2 glasses for home. (My friend's infant made a mess with food on the floor. The hostess stated" no worries." I saw there was a stage for a band. Went last Friday for the first time, we loved everything about it, the food, the beers the atmosphere. With that said went back yesterday, we still loved everything about but we ordered 4 pizzas that we couldn't finish due to how salty they were, I believe it's the type of cheese. Brought the leftovers home but I'm not so sure I want to try again. Maybe using a different type of cheese or giving customers another cheese option. I came to Route 30 on a Friday after work for a goodbye party for a coworker. I wish I could give 1/2 star rating as I would rate it a 3.5 stars. The place is a great option if you have a large group. There are large tables if you have an intimate group of 8 or a big group of 20. The room is spacious so if you want to walk around and mingle, you are able to. If you come with a group, you are given a number to place your order. As you get additional items, just give your waiter your number to add to your tab. You also use that number when paying. Our group was helped by Steve. I ordered the Citrus City - American wheat ale conditioned with citrus zest. It was a solid beer. I also got the jalapeno pretzel bites. They were surprisingly spicy. They had more of a kick than I expected. I got the hatch chile queso so that definitely added to the spiciness. read more

I was in the area and I was craving a seltzer . I called this place to see what kind of seltzers they had and once all the different options were listed I was sold . When I arrived I was immediately greeted and the bartender was super patient with me while I looked over the menu and she answered any questions I may had had . I decided on the lemonade seltzer and not only was it very refreshing it had just the right amount of sweetness . As far as food I ordered the jalapeño pretzel bites and they were pretty solid . You can tell the pretzels bite are fresh and the Dijon mustard to go with it is the prefect compliment . My husband and I went for St. Patrick's Day last week. We got there early probably about 445. It gradually got busier and busier. I had the blonde, and my husband had the Mexican lager, and we shared the fish and chips. Everything was really good, however, we felt really bad for the servers. There was only two people working for St. Patrick's Day...that is setting them up for failure... the place got packed... and the servers were really trying you could tell, they were hustling, but there was just no way for them to keep up. Went here for a meet up with our older grandson and this place is a great place for a good local beer and food and they allowed dogs here. Their food menu selection was top notch with a great variety of meals to choose from. I had pizza, which I only ate 1/2, my wife had one of their salads and our grandson had a sandwich and all was great ! I had a flight of my choice of samples and my wife had their house made root beer and she really liked everything here which is sometimes hard for her to please when out at a brew pub. AND to top it off their service was AWESOME and super friendly. I look forward to returning here again soon. read more

The second location in Riverside I've visited closer to Corona. Popped in for a visit on their grand opening day. The front parking lot had kids axe throwing, corn hole toss and raffle prizes, jerky tent and 96.7 KCAL radio station booth. We spun the wheel at the radio station and won a Dave and busters gift card. Well worth the trip. It was pretty crowded inside but we ordered and was able to find a table. Large interior space great for groups with lively ambiance. Garage bay type doors open the floor to the outside area. Overall was good. read more

The beer here is on point and so are the staff. Unfortunately when we came on a Friday night they were a skeleton crew. Everyone was working hard but they just couldn't keep up with demand. The food was decent but we couldn't order a variety or try multiple items because the staff didn't have the people to gather more supplies. I'll be revisiting in the future but I hope that management hires or at least staffs better for the weekend. Especially seeing they've got something pretty awesome going here. read more

Located in a former favorite brewery of ours. Tasty beer and yummy street tacos, pretzel bites, Brussels sprouts and Caesar salad. We came late afternoon with family and on another day also late in the afternoon. Hazy Days Citrus IPA, definitely citrusy Hoppy on the palate, Riverside Red, a smooth delicious red and Strata Test Drive IPA. The street tacos; Pastor, Carne Asada, Carnitas and chicken available on corn or flour tortillas. House made red and spicy green salsa. All good! A huge inside space and a nice outdoor patio (without shade). Stop in and give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. read more

This was originally Wicks Brewing which we loved. We were very disappointed. We came here because the radio station that we loved was there so we understood that they would be busy. We ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and a hazy IPA and a seltzer, I'm not much of a beer drinker. The beer we got was not hazy first disappointment. We waited 30 min for the sandwich finally went back up to bar and they had no order but they kindly said they would get it right out to us. Another 15 min no sandwich so I flagged the hostess again apologized and she checked the kitchen and said it would come out. 20 min nothing!!! Flagged her down again and told her to make it to go 10 min passed again I was over it. She made a poor excuse which was the system was down but I saw orders coming out of the kitchen. Spent the afternoon visiting local breweries with friends this past Saturday. The last stop was Route 30 Brewery. Since we were new to the place, we decided on flights to get a feel for the style and then order larger once we'd found a favorite. Our waiter arrived and asked for our order. When we started our order, "Oh, baby beers. In that case, I need to check I.D.s because adults don't order baby beers." Mind you, we're grey headed and had our teenage daughter with us. We presented I.D.s and every taster we ordered, he'd confirm and add "baby" ahead of the name. I ordered a coffee as well, one size available, "Getting an adult size or baby of that one too?" The couple of times he came back to check on us, he stated "Ready to be adults yet?" After dealing with what could have looked to our daughter like bullying to get drunk, we were not eager to order larger and spend more money at a place we were getting increasingly more uncomfortable. We finished our flights, finished the coffee, paid and left. We're still talking about the poor experience days later and have no plans of returning. read more

Absolutely amazing service first and foremost, I sat in a corner seat in the back and was treated like I was right at the bar. Ordered some food while I did a little work and wow, was very impressed by the speed and quality of the food. Fish and chips to be exact, they were piping hot and tasty as fuhhhhh! Route 30 has the best variety of seltzers, their food is great as well, I recommend the pesto sandwich!

It has been a long time coming that I got to try Route 30--now that they have a downtown tap room, super convenient for a nice end of the day beer! They have a brewery location in another area of Riverside, but this one is definitely in a great location just around the corner from the downtown Main Street walking mall. So Route 30 is a relatively small brewery from what I understand but they have a large number of beverages to select from! Our server, Hayden, was super helpful and even suggested a combination of the choices (yes, you can mix and match!). See the picture of the marquee for the options we had the last weekend in February (2020). The space isn't huge on the inside, but it is plenty for what you need. Some larger tables for larger parties, some smaller tall tables, and of course you can sit at the bar (had like 6-8 chairs there). The place has a jukebox that is mounted on the wall, but they made it within a beer barrel which is a cool idea! They share the bathroom with the coffee bean and elephant Thai places, but it's not an issue---just remember to get the key card to enter. Overall, can't wait to go back and try this place again. I got a flight and tried a bunch of the beers. All pretty good, but definitely better with the nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out! read more
